  1. In Jomtien you can dine at Yupins or Poseidon (if not busy) or Divarium within the Complex and many bars to peruse. Two late night places are Lucifer on Walking Street and Sinlapin Esan Third Road in Pattaya. Boyztown area has four go-go clubs to visit. XBoys, Dream Boys, A Bomb, and ToyBoys. Sunee not really worth the effort.
  2. Step son, adopted son, biological son it doesn't matter, keep them guessing; no one's business accept yours.
  3. He is my son.
  4. Two of the boys in photo, Win(black shirt), second from left and Jay (white shirt), third from left were on stage during my visit. Possibly the lad on the far right was there but cannot be sure.
  5. My visit was on Friday, Nov. 4 at about 9 PM. On arrival there were no customers inside and no boys on the stage. Myself and 2 others arrived and were later joined by one other customer for a total of 4. After finishing our drink the three of us left. Four boys did get on the stage and danced; one did then join me for a drink. The other customer remained. I don't recall if seeing any other customers sitting outside.
  6. To live another year.
  7. Last night at 9 pm there were 4 boys on stage and 4 customers in the audience.
  8. Many years ago I knew a boy who worked at MicMy Bar in Sunee Plaza although cannot recall his name. We were friends and he sometimes would sleep at my hotel over the course of a few years. As time went on he seemed to have an undefined illness which his coworkers alluded to but were never specific. He moved back home to be with him mom but then wanted to return to Pattaya which he did. In his last year he often requested money from me and I thought perhaps it was a scam of sorts. I remember he would write "why don't you help me with some money" but he never got angry or belligerent. Then he died! I never learned the true cause of his death but still regret that I did not help him in his time of need.
  9. Here is the official list of countries and requirements for entry (visa on arrival/visa exempt) into Thailand. The Visa On Arrival (15 days) only applies to about 19 countries. About 46 countries qualify for Visa Exempt (30/45 days) and the rest of the world has bilateral agreements of 14, 30 and 90 days. Of course there are then numerous other visas which can be applied for. Very confusing!
  10. As compared to the 40 million visitors in 2019.
  11. Mostly likely the case, Peter. I know farangs who were clueless when in a gay bar regarding tipping. One guy took a boy at Nice Boy to an upstairs room for sex and did not want to tip or pay for the room; just thought it was part of the deal. His friends had to put in money to pay for him.
  12. I suggest that you bring your favorite condoms and lube with you.
  13. Although I live close to Boyztown and visit there 3+ days/week, I always find boys I like in Jomtien and I do like the night life there.
  14. Max, as the Thai boys say " you think too much"! Stop worrying and start enjoying your stay in Thailand.
  15. You will be coaxed into a host bar by many boys, you will order a drink and all the boys will disappear! Happens all the time. However if interested, you can call a boy to sit with you and no problem. Sometimes boys will sit with you, uninvited, and you can buy them a drink or say "not interested". If a boy does sit with you and you buy him a drink, it is still expected to give him a tip such as 100 Baht. If you are a regular, and known to have a boys sit with you, then they will not forget and will approach you for a drink and conversation. If interested in a boy, just off him, or make arrangements to see him at a later time/date.
  16. In Pattaya, fewer and fewer people, both Thai and Farang are wearing masks, even on the Baht Busses.
  17. I had to look up grok to see the meaning! A good word, but then it came from a good book, which I had read so many years ago and had forgotten.
  18. Plenty of mediocre Thai restaurants to choose from!
  19. Natan's (French) in Jomtien; Le Bordeaux in Pattaya; Casa Pascal in Pattaya.
  20. Some of your questions can be answered by doing a Google search. As for a SIM card, likely you can use your phone same as you do in Europe, but don't know if anyone can call you? Do you use Line or Messenger both of which are common in Thailand.
  21. Cafe Des Amis and Au Bon Coin are excellent choices.
  22. Yes, seriously.
  23. A most interesting read! However I don't quite understand how losing friends to AIDS led to death of your faith?
  24. Many years ago I had a lad who offered to rim me and I readily accepted; it was great. As I recall it was at a massage shop and this was part of the service. The Thai expression for rimming is "clean/wash the refrigerator". Sounds like "laun tu yen". They all understand this expression. I might add that "they" your boy du jour, often enjoy the experience if you offer it to them.
  25. Never, ever have I had commercial sex in my own country.
