  1. Even the TAP business class can be hit or miss. With me, it was just barely worth the extra money to fly SFO - LIS - SFO.
  2. How "convenient" for the distinguished gentleman! ๐Ÿ˜‰
  3. More information summarized from an article in the Bali Post (10 January): His name is Yanuarias Toebkae, 20 years old. After the initial incident on Tuesday, he unsuccessfully tried to pick up additional passengers in Seminyak, Kuta. He then parked the taxi not too far from its owner's home. After sharing with a friend the money he'd extorted from the two passengers, he later drove a rental car to Surabaya, East Java (the island just to the west). Two days later, he was captured in Sidoarjo (just outside Surabaya) -- 396.6 km from Kuta, Bali. He was seized on a plane about to depart for Kupang in Indonesian Timor (Nusa Tengara Timur). Nobody has yet reported on his citizenship. It turns out that the "knife" that the passengers thought he had wielded was in reality a folded fan. He made a throat-slashing gesture to pretend that it was a knife to frighten them even more.
  4. I didn't misinterpret anything. Not verifying is not verifying. A bet is not verification. Um. This is just too easy. ๐Ÿ˜˜ It was the wording that appeared in your own original post, written by Banfield and/or NewsNation, that said he was an expert: โ€˜Jellyfishโ€™ UAP video is likely the 'real deal': UFO expert | Banfield ๐ŸŽฏ๐Ÿคก๐ŸŽฏ
  5. Says who? You keep posting URLs to unverified stories about Jeremy Corbell's personal claims. Even Nick Pope, whose TV appearance you document in great detail, did not verify the authenticity of this video or its provenance. So are you an actual TOol? Or a ShiLL? ๐Ÿคก
  6. The font size in Scott's post was exactly the same as anyone else's post here. It's the default for Gay Guides Forums at 14 pt. Your font is 16 pt. Perhaps you had unknowingly zoomed out on your browser size? In a browser like Chrome, the command for "zoom in" is Ctrl +. The command for "zoom out" is Ctrl - .
  7. Is this your type of classic Cambodian guy? ๐Ÿ˜
  8. Only Michelin and UNESCO? What about the Save The ChildrenSave the Children organization and the World Wildlife Fund? I'm sure they know about your good works!
  9. Your royal realm, King Vinapu! Thailand treats your correctly and royally when you are there. ๐Ÿ‘‘ And if two handsome Asians have arranged a booking, it's your duty to pay for both of them to come to your hotel for a threeway -- even if one of them is a punter like yourself. They'll help to warm up your bed.๐Ÿ‘
  10. What did they serve you?
  11. Well, this report is from News Nation -- so take that for what it's worth. The story was featured on no other news site/channel. Moreover, the video isn't attributed to a specific source. And the "expert" is nothing of the sort. He's a very creative artist and fantasist who likely created the video or doctored an existing one. โ˜บ๏ธ Jeremy Kenyon Lockyer Corbell is an American contemporary artist, filmmaker, and ufologist based in Los Angeles, California. Corbell is a mixed media artist whose exhibitions combine art, fashion, and film. He is also a photographer, fashion designer, and author.
  12. The easiest answer is... What's the purpose of your visit to Sri Lanka?
  13. Yes indeed! You're dreaming about your Savior Dictator. Spend $8.99 and you can frame his image! ๐Ÿ˜
  14. No flaming at all! In fact, you're to be applauded. ๐Ÿ‘ In particular, the OP wrote this: I want to do something about this before I turn in to "who's that gross old guy trolling around here?"
  15. This is the actual cover of the current issue of The New Yorker magazine. Nobody knows Drumpf like his home town does. ๐ŸŽฏ
  16. I'm so happy that this triggers you so much that you continually go into "what about Joe" mode. I love watching you react in the only way you know. ๐Ÿฅณ Remember: This topic is about holding a reunion at the D.C. jail for Drumpf's convicted traitors and insurrectionists. And Drumpf himself might attend. He plays their songs at his failed rallies. ๐ŸŽผ๐ŸŽต๐ŸŽถ
  17. I love this image so much that I have to re-post it! ๐Ÿฅณ ๐ŸŽ‰
  18. And what do you know about the cheap and tasty food you eat in Latin America and Asia? Where do you read fully disclosed information about all ingredients?
  19. Ah! So you both achieved financial success that day. ๐Ÿ˜
  20. You're our chief economic advisor! ๐ŸŽฏ
  21. Absolutely correct! I think the Axels rest on their reputation as the most famous ("infamous"?) gay hotels in Barcelona. There's nothing special about them other than the fact they're cruisy and friendly inside and out, especially at the pool, spa, sauna or jacuzzi. A stay at an Axel hotel probably works best for those visitors who are too shy or afraid to venture very often to other parts of the city -- or even other parts of the Eixample.
  22. Let's see now.... You went back 15 (yes, fifteen) pages to a comment from another poster to cherry-pick a single word that you thought was misused. That comment was not addressed to you and had absolutely nothing to do with you. Yet you were desperate enough to unearth something that would boost your terribly fragile ego after being away from these forums for a while. So please do tell us the answer: Exactly WHY do you waste your time here?
  23. It's important to remember that there are two principal sections of the Eixample neighborhood. Thermas is at the southern edge of what's called the "left" section: the "gayborhood" of Barcelona. So to be really close, you want L'Esquerra de lโ€™Eixample (Catalan meaning "left"). More specifically, the blocks in which Thermas is located is La Nova Esquerra de l'Eixample (Catalan meaning "new left"). The other part of the Eixample is the "right" section. La Dreta de l'Eixample ("right") is pretty big, with hotels that can be very far from your gay destinations. But as long as your hotel is close to the Metro L1 line, however, even the right section won't be a problem. As @jensplatta said, the Rocafort station is on Metro L1 and is just around the corner from Thermas. Ride-share services will also take you to Thermas.
  24. But the similarity ends right there -- and we all know it. One of those two people can explain medical facts, conclusions and advice in an objective manner without feeling threatened and insecure. The other one is a bully who thinks that pedantry, posturing, personal attacks and put-downs will bolster his comments as well as his fragile ego.
  25. How angry and bitter you are that I copied a few comments posted by actual members of these forums! How else can I provoke you? ๐ŸŽฏ
