I'm not sure what type of "attractions" you require, but I've definitely been busy every time I visit Jakarta. My first visit was in 1971, and my last was in 2022.

Care to describe the type of place you chose to stay and why you chose it? That was the main question in your original post. So now you can help others with a report! ☺️

Tawan Bar in Bangkok Closed: Police Raid Reported

As in much of Southeast Asia, "next month" can be a very indefinite indication of time! In many cases, it simply means "at some time in the future." -

May I ask where you found your masseurs? And do you know anything about the massage spas in Da Nang?
-
You should always check your Google Translate. I was speaking specifically about the Russkis' behavior in Southeast Asia. Do you know where that is? I'll happily show it to you on the map! 😎
-
Thailand is not the only country in Southeast Asia where Russki nationals offend local communities and cause serious resentment and anger. More stories like this help to spread the word about terrible Russki behavior. They flee Little Pooty-Poot's war in Ukraine in fear -- yet they create culture wars wherever they land.

So glad he blocked me. His overgeneralizations about places where he spends virtually no time are legendary. 🤡 When I've spent vastly more time in a place than he has, his overgeneralizations are particularly foolish. They show how shallow and prejudiced he really is! 🤣

I think you need to create (and lead) an NGO to find them and take care of them! -

The Associated Press is not "a mouthpiece for the DNC." If you have verified evidence of the contrary, please post it here. If not, just keep hiding in the shadows while your recent stock purchase continues to plummet in value. 🤡 -

Will our resident clown @EmmetK buy several of these? 😁 -
It's a very good article, full of useful details about places in Laos now easily accessible.

@floridarob makes these errors often. First he overgeneralizes about a place based on pitifully little experience and small sample sizes. 0️⃣ And then he makes a pronouncement in these forums as the final word on the subject! 🤣

Fewer British tourists and expats are coming to Thailand
Marc in Calif replied to reader's topic in The Beer Bar
You keep backpedaling and getting embarrassed! 😊 There were NO commas to count in your foolish response. Show me ONE comma! Here's what it looks like: , You need to get someone to check the Google translations for you. You're missing a lot by not understanding them! Score = 0️⃣ Please study the meaning of "no longer" in English. it clearly doesn't mean what you think. 🤣 -

WRONG! This is your own error in comprehension -- again. Will you blame it on Google Translate -- again? "No longer" makes NO reference to the length of time that has passed. It does not refer to "recently" or "just now". So the statement is correct. "No longer" means that Russians at some time in the past required visits, but they don't any longer. And that time in the past can easily be 2005. And for China and India, the time in the past can be different than for Russia. They're all "no longer" required to have visas. So Reader is absolutely correct. 💯 -

When I saw it, I looked up "dabuchery." It's actually new slang for smoking weed (getting "faded"). I had no idea! 😎 -
NEW YORK (The Borowitz Report) - On the final day of jury selection in the hush money trial of Donald J. Trump, Judge Juan Merchan dismissed a Manhattan woman who expressed extremely negative views about the defendant. The woman testified that it would be “impossible” to render an unbiased judgment of a man she considered “vicious, cruel, and devoid of human decency.” “The idea of spending the next few weeks in the same room with him nauseates me,” she added. “Please, let me go.” Asked if she had had any personal interaction with the defendant, she said, “He wouldn’t know my name.” Although the woman’s comments riveted the entire courtroom, they failed to awaken Trump.

Have you already looked at the many previous threads and reports about these places? Based on those threads and reports, which countries sound best for a side trip for YOU -- and not anyone else?

Thailand’s 'most complicated election in the world’

It's mystifying. I'd appreciate seeing a translation of this voting process -- in English that makes sense! 😉
