I was staying in Cairo at a hotel. I was getting a massage at the hotel and they only have male massage therapists for men. I was coming from the swimming pool so I did not have underwear and was draped.

I had a similar experience in Balapitiya; they don't just work with women. Handsome, muscular guys strut up and down the beach, trying to talk to white women. Just show them you're interested. The usual price for sex in the jungle is 5,000 rupees. But you have to be very careful, because there are a lot of bad guys among them. Don't tell them anything unnecessary (not even the name of the hotel) and don't give them your number.

An issue made in the OP is one everyone should consider. If an appointment is made to suit an individual client, it is as much the responsibility of that client to be on time as it is the service provider. Regular messaging updates about bad traffic is hardly an excuse, the more so when the appointment time is at rush hour. And this is as true in Seoul where the traffic is horrendous, as it is in many other major Asian cities. Surely the OP could have got himself to a coffee shop, hotel or at least somewhere hear the massage spa in advance so as to be on time for the appointment he himself had made? Trusting what is assumed to be an agreement by a phone operator in Seoul about bad traffic is, as the client discovered, of little use.
To offer to pay only two thirds when it was the client who was late was demeaning, especially in a very Confucian society. And then just to walk out even more so. 

Gay hammams do not exist in Egypt as such.
However, when having a male masseuse, asking at the reception whether you can be naked during the massage (like in Europe), telling them that you prefer a specific type to be your guy, arriving when there are not that many people around, being alone in the room with him, complimenting his body, asking about his marital status, you most definitely - exceptions aside - get what you want. (Almost) everywhere!
In my opinion, do not expect the masseuse to initiate the deal (happens of course). The risk is solely on them. Put your hands beside your body when they lean over you. Gently move your thumb or little finger. Apologise and see how he reacts. The moment will tell.

Wassup Guys, I know it’s been a while but after my 5 day trip to Kingston I had to post on here. If I thought the DR was fun, Jamaica was on a whole other level. I was slutted out EVERY SINGLE DAY. I'm asian and got lucky several times in Cairo, Luxor and Aswan. From my experience, local guys are not particularly attracted to the race but to the person. If they think you are gay and travelling alone , when they are horny you are prime target, imho  .

I took some time today to look at some archives of these free gay Thai magazines and what I saw was what I suspected - they contained advertisements from various gay businesses and venues from all over Thailand; Phuket, Chiang Mai, Pattaya, and Bangkok who used these paper based magazines as a vehicle to advertise their existence on the world stage - as often the recipients of these magazines where to people who could understand English and generally lived outside of Thailand.
So, that implies that there was a time in Thailand's gay economic history when they would advertise to the outside world - as evidenced in these Thai gay magazines.  I agree with you that these magazines are now dead and hence the reach of Thailand's gay economy is now not (or barely) advertised to the outside non-Thai world.
Does this mean that Thailand's gay economy has continued to exist based only on word-of-mouth since the death of these paper based gay magazines?
Does it also mean that a Thai gay business now (today) does not have an easy vehicle/mechanism to be advertised on the global gay world stage?
  


 

I just came back from Thailand. I went to the nice boyz bar on the last night of Pattaya.
As said in this thread earlier, this business is very different.
You pay to stroke or blow some guy.
I feel fun but not quite entertaining in this bar.
I placed a "500 baht" note, and 2 boys showed up to stroke, and one of them just cum in minutes to get that money.

This report will be about the massage places I visited while in Pattaya:
1.  Paradise Massage located in the Boytown area.  I visited there three times and each time was with the same Thai guy.  He is tall, about 5'10, and definitely the most masculine fellow I observed working there; my type.  His name is Nookker.  On the first visit the massage was lackluster followed by an enjoyable "happy ending".  The next two visits were focused more on sexual pleasure than the massage and that was definitely fine with me.  Later I asked him to come to the hotel and he did.  The visit to the hotel was strictly sexual.  The sexual activity was very good, but he is not a good kisser.  The massage shop charged 700.  I paid him 1,500 for the first visit and 2,000 for the next 2 spa visits and the visit to the hotel.  
2.  Chivarome Massage located on Pattaya South Road, a few meters from Pattaya Second Road where the tut-tuts are lined up to go to Jomtien.  The place is a mixture of guys and girls.  I selected a masculine Thai guy, Mr. Tee,  for a foot massage in order to check the place out.  During the foot massage I noticed that a client, followed by a massage guy, was leaving the shop from another area, not the foot massage area.  I asked Mr. Tee if they did body massages and he said "yes, upstairs" with a big smile on his face.  The next day I returned to the shop and got a body massage from him.  As usual the massage was okay, the sexual part was nicer, and he is a very good kisser.  Aside from that, he has a wonderful personality.  I had one more massage with him at the shop and three hotel visits which were quite enjoyable.  I had a foot massage and two full body massages with another fellow but I do not remember his name.  He is a cute fellow, younger and thinner than Mr. Tee.  During the first body massage I had to ask him to remove his clothes and instructed him on what to do through the entire session.  The second time around he said he did not want to have sex but would "beat me off"; I declined.  There was a third guy at the spa that I was interested in, but during one of my visits to the spa I noticed that he had on a lot of white facial makeup and ruby red lip stick.  That is a big turn off for me, so I did not go with him.  To each his own.
3.  Jomtien - the only massage location where I found masculine acting men was at Pattaya #1 massage and MV massage, both located right next to each other.  The first night there I met Mr. POO,  a thin cute young man from Laos.  During the nice massage he asked if I wanted to have sex.  I said "yes" and he replied with 3,000.  I said "no sex too expensive, massage only".  Immediately he dropped the price.  I had an enjoyable time with him and asked about visiting with him the next day.  He said he was going back to Laos because of family problems, that is why he asked for more money.  We exchange phone numbers, and I ended up giving him 2,000.  The next day he sent photos of himself on the bus to Laos and later on photos of himself at home; that was nice.  When I returned to Jomtien and walked past the spa, I noticed two other masculine acting young men, one from Cambodia (Mr. Pepsi) and the other from Laos, I do not remember his name.  The fellow from Laos told me that Mr. Poo went home because of problems with family to which I replied that I already knew this.  I was with each guy twice at the spa and I "offed" the fellow from Cambodia.  The spa fee and the off fee are 300 each.  Mr. Poo is short, fuller body size and very cute.  The guy from Cambodia is taller, but not too tall, thin and both guys are handsome.  By the way, all three of them have a nice piece of meat; if you know what I mean, and know how to use it, and are good kissers.
4.  Bliss Massage located in east Pattaya.  There was not much information posted about this shop due to the fact that it is located quite a distance from the regular gay area.  I decided to go there and took a Grab taxi.  Yes, the spa is located quite a distance from Boystown.  When I arrived the spa door was locked but the manager soon appeared and opened the door.  There were no guys present at the spa at that time.  He said he could call a guy who could be there in 30 minutes if I wanted to wait:  I did.  Exactly 30 minutes later they guy arrived.  The spa is very beautiful and clean with a price of 900.  The Thai guy is okay in looks, about 5'9" and slightly muscular.  The massage was routine.  He said that he does not do any form of penetration, only hand jobs.  Again, not my thing so I gave him the minimum tip.  I did not return to the spa because there was no way for me to select the guy I wanted to be with.  I do not have Line on my phone.
