Thanks for the suggestion. I'm always surprised at what LPSG will and wont allow. That said, one thing hard about personal reviews is my judgement bone flairs. Not in a cruel way but it's like reviewing a stranger's decorating choices. When it's in alignment with your own, it's great. When it's not...well. Some of the men they call mid are hot and some they call hot are not my taste. Other mention sleeping with men that are hit in the face, and I'm like, why? Still, I'm entertained and enjoy the reports from some posters.

While I enjoy Airbnb flexibility, though prefer a hotel room, I am glad some places are finally fighting back to create balance between the short term rental market and regular rental/ownership market. I hope they and other tourist spots can find a healthy balance.

I really feel this now that Datalounge has also announced it's closing up shop at the end of July, 30 years of history and gossip down the drain. So much celeb gossip you couldn't dare say on other sites without an instant ban. But on DL folks were free to share insider topics and so many other wonderful conversations or random threads. The internet is shrinking and privacy is already a figment of our imagination. I hope Gayguides survives.

I can't offer any proof but isn't there a power in numbers situation in the places you mentioned compared to Rwanda? Having loads of western tourists in Egypt offers you a bit of cover. Same way, I'd probably be safer getting dick in Dubai, despite the laws on the books, compared to somewhere Pakistan. But, one tourist, can easily find fun almost anywhere with street smarts, luck, and cash. And I'm an ignorant westernern so I don't know my elbow from my asshole with this.
