News from Curitiba, Brasil
TotallyOz replied to episevilla's topic in Latin America Men and Destinations
Great report. Thank you so much! I enjoyed the read and will take this into consideration on my next visit to Brazil in the Spring. -
I don't mind you asking anything PattayaMale. I will have to think on this and get back to you! I still have a few weeks in Thailand left and lots of thinking to do regarding my next visit. All of what Firecat and others said is true. But, I also love the sleeze of Pattaya and fit in well there. I'll give a detailed report later on.

Nice report thanks! Have you been to Wild West lately? Is the show there still good? I didn't know BoyzBoyzBoyz was refurbishing. Can't wait to see it.

Good deal for now! I have done the Premium Economy on Thai many times and love it. The non stop to Bangkok is great! I love the ride and I find I adjust better on this flight than with others. Not sure why. I checked my ticket and I paid a bit less than this for my last trip but the prices vary so much depending on when you travel.
-
Thai Air does Premium Economy the best and the seats are bigger than EVA. I think Cathay does it as well. For Thai, you can't book direct on their website from Phoenix. You have to call them. Call the LA branch and they will book it all the way for you. I did the same thing last trip from Dallas and it was no more than the fare from LAX. I have heard the fares are high for a bit. When are you traveling? I'll help and advise as much as possible. Also, try calling Rhonda at Norcross Travel. People in Thailand seem to love her but I prefer to deal with Thai Air directly. Great Premium Economy. norcrosstravel2004@yahoo.com 770-934-2777 fax: 678-205-0890

Neither can I! But, I am more frustrated that he hasn't lived up to the changes he promised. He is just like the rest of them. He was elected by the young people who thought he would fight. He doesn't know how to fight. He lays down for the Republicans to fuck him in the ass. He is a bottom pussy boy with no balls. I would vote for him if he were running against Bachmann or Perry. But, if Romney wins, I just may keep out of the election and not vote at all (a first since I was 18). I love politics and I have voted for both parties over the years in different elections. But, I simply just can't stand pulling the lever for Obama. That being, said, I may have to suck it up and learn to get fucked like he has.

I could not agree more. I voted for him (after Hillary dropped out) and had high hopes. He is a major disappointment and I'm not sure I can vote for him again. If the Republican party were smart (they are not, they are idiots and will nominate someone the Tea Party loves) I would happily consider voting for a moderate. But, that ain't going to happen. The system is USA is screwed up and the one I hoped would fixed it turned out to be more trouble than he was worth. I wish him great luck but he is loosing his liberal base (me included).

LOL I love his e-mail. However, I bet it didn't stop too many as everyone thinks their e-mail is important.

Thank you for the link to that video. I did have tears in my eyes for most of the clip but I am so glad I saw it. Thank you! I was in NYC Sept 11, 2001. It was a truly horrible memory. I didn't know if my BF was OK or not until he walked home 40 blocks with soot covered pants. I was supposed to be at the World Trade Center than morning and I overslept as I had relatives in town to see a Michael Jackson Reunion concert. The night before the 11th, I had 2500 USD seats to the concert and felt amazing and invincible. It was a dream come true! When I woke up, all hell had broken loose. My answering machine was going off the wall. Luckily, I overslept and missed going to the WTC. I could not dial out on the landline or use my cell phone. I was able to use the Internet and used Vonage or Skype to call my family in the deep South. Their lines were busy but I called my sister's school and had them tell her I was OK. The secretaries were all thrilled and jumping up and down as they said my sister was terrified. I can't imagine the families who didn't hear from their loved ones or lost loved ones. What a horrible horrible day. This video brought back a lot of memories of those few days and it is something that we need never forget!

Sorry to be the bearer of bad news, but I see this as the future. I may be wrong. But, look at the Mac Air. It has little hard drive space and it is really meant to live in the cloud. Apple is moving its .me over to the cloud. Apple is moving its ITunes over the the cloud. I just see this as the start of hard drives being less relevant and clouds being more relevant. I don't know what the future holds, but I love the fact I could hook a tiny Mac Air up to the Internet and access all I need from anywhere. My bet is that in a new model, the Air will have a 3G or 4G chip to allow access to the net via mobile technology. I do think cloud storage is the way things are moving.

I love KYTop, but also like KY's new commercial. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=x0lZuB1DyhM

Sorry hitoallusa, she does not respect gays and thinks we are vile creatures. In fact, she wants us all to convert to be straight and her business plan incorporates this into its model and she makes money by trying to convert gays to straight. Thus, I own her no respect. She is vile and disgusting. IMHO

Dropbox is great if you want to free up space on your hard drive. For example, I work on a document called Male Escort Review Escort of the Year Contest. I also want TY to help with that. I place it in a folder that gives him access and he can then work on it too. The last change will appear the next time I use drop box. I have not tested it this way yet. I use it as I don't want tons of files on my computer and I can free up 100G of free space. That is not a great deal on my Imac but it is on my laptop. It also gives me access to the files on all computers I use without having to transfer via e-mail, etc. Ex: I am working on document Male Escort Review Escort of the Year Contest on my IMac and I keep that document in my Dropbox. I take an airplane to USA and I use my laptop, I can work on the document and save changes to it on my travels. I then sit in MacDonald's with my IPad and I get a great idea. I open my Dropbox and make the changes. When I unpack my IMac, the changes are all there. I don't have anything to transfer. It is not for everyone, but for me, I love it as I use many computers and at different places and always hated transferring things via e-mail or via disk from one computer to the next. If my computer dies, (usually doesn't happen with Apple but it does from time to time), I don't have to worry about a back up as all I need to do is log into drop box. All my documents are there. On a recent trip to Brazil, I needed access to my passport at one office but did not have it with me. I used my IPad and opened up dropbox and got my information there and showed them the passport on my IPad. It was good enough for them. I guess for those that never change computers and never have a computer to fail and always keep backups of all documents in multiple places, this may not be worth the money. But, you get 2G free a year. Try it and see if worth it to you. I have used IDisk a great deal over the years. I love it. It is simple and easy to use but slow. I store all kinds of info there and come back to it when needed. The big difference between it and dropbox is that IDisk is storage while dropbox seems to be a replacement for your harddrive. I am not sure if that makes any sense at all but I tried. I love having the ability to loose a computer and have instant access to all my programs, etc. I keep copies of all software applications on it and a few years back, I did break a laptop. I asked Apple to restore to my IDisk Account. The next day, all my programs, documents, etc. were back on my computer. For me, it was worth 100 bucks a year for this.

Bachmann Definition - Bachmann is the discharge of spermicide and cum that leaks out when a woman takes out her diaphragm. Thanks BiBottomBoy

I wonder how we can get that at the top of Google?
-
LOL, that is great. Did you make that up or find this somewhere?

I love gadgets and I have had an IPhone in the past but switched to a Nokia as it has a great camera and HiDef video recorder. I think the IPhone 5 will come to and meet more expectations but I am not sure. I did see the new Samsung Note which looks fabulous! What phone do you use? Why?
-
Why is IDisk SOOOO much slower than Dropbox? I have been using Dropbox for a while and love it. I rarely leave an Apple product but Dropbox seems far superior IMHO. Anyone else tried both? What do you think?
-
You just gotta love what the web world did to the term Santorum. I laugh everytime I see that name. Bachman?

Interesting article. Perry is one that would make me vote for Obama. Truthfully, I can't imagine not voting Democratic but I like to think I'd keep an open mind. Perry is an idiot who believes his prayers to God will bring rain to Texas. Just want we need in the oval office.
-
If I had wanted a Republican in office, I would have voted for McCain. He may be a nice guy, but he is not presidential material. He seems weak and caves into the Republicans at every turn. I wish him luck on his election as he is going to need it. If the Republicans are smart, they will nominate someone that will get the support of a few democrats. It will be interesting to see if they nominate someone with intelligence or one of those loonies who are running now.

When people think about travel points, the first programs that come to mind are usually airline mile accounts. However, the number, variety and value of great hotel points programs have grown exponentially over the past few years, and consumers are starting to take notice. Thanks to their versatility, flexibility and elite perks, hotel points are some of the hottest commodities in travel points. The bottom line is: Hotel points matter--even if it's free airline tickets you're after. Here are a few of the reasons why, and what you should be thinking about as you get started with them. Higher Value: Unlike airline miles, which usually amount to a value of about 1-2 cents each, hotel loyalty points' value can be worth much, much more. The combination of rising airfares, reduced flight capacities and scarcer award seat availability can make finding ideal award tickets challenging. On the other hand, although hotel rates have also risen dramatically over the past decade, capacity keeps on growing as well (or at least remains fixed since you can't switch buildings if you don't sell out your hotel, whereas you can switch out aircraft) as hotel chains expand and keep on adding brands. That means that more rooms--and more expensive rooms--are up for grabs to loyalty point program members. Enough stays at an Embassy Suites can translate to overnights at a Waldorf Astoria. The 20,000 Starwood points you earn staying at a Sheraton can get you a night at the St. Regis Rome. Exchange Rates: Airfares were high this summer thanks to a number of factors including the skyrocketing cost of gas, but Americans have been feeling even more of a pinch thanks to the weak US dollar. That holds true for hotel rates as well, especially in Europe, where the Euro is pummeling the greenback. A hotel room that would cost $200 in Los Angeles could go for the equivalent of $600 in Paris. That makes using your hotel points wisely more important than ever. Plus, the Starwood Preferred Guest program has a "Cash & Points" option that gets you hotel rooms for both fewer points and less money than using one method of payment or the other. For example, a Category 4 (out of 7) Starwood property like the Westin Grand Berlin, would cost you 4,000 Starpoints and $60 USD using the "Cash & Points" option versus paying over 250 euros (around $360 at the moment). More Options: Though hotel points are generally only redeemable within a single hotel group (like Marriott or Hilton), most of these chains have created, incorporated or bought other brands to put under their umbrella and usually you can both earn points on stays at any of the brands within the chain, as well as using points earned at any of the brands within the chain for stays at any of the other brands. Just to give you a quick rundown of some of the biggest: -IHG Priority Club: This is the biggest group, with over 4,000 properties worldwide, and brands like InterContinental, Crowne Plaza and Holiday Inn. -Hilton HHonors: Another huge hotel group of over 3,600 hotels worldwide with familiar names like Hilton, Waldorf Astoria, DoubleTree, Embassy Suites and Hilton Garden Inn. -Marriott Rewards: The next largest chain, with over 3,400 properties in the Marriott, JW Marriott, Ritz-Carlton, Renaissance, Edition and Residence Inn brands. -Starwood Preferred Guest: This group has over 1,000 properties across several great brands including Westin, St. Regis, W Hotels, Sheraton, Element and Aloft. -Hyatt Gold Passport: One of the best hotel programs out there (which I'll talk about in a future post) even though they only have just over 400 properties across brands like Hyatt, Park Hyatt, Andaz and Hyatt Place. Airline Transfers: Just because you pick a hotel loyalty program and start accruing points in it doesn't mean you can't still use them for airfare. In fact, most hotel programs allow you to transfer points to several different airline mileage accounts. For instance, right now, Starwood Preferred Guest members can transfer their points to 31 different mileage programs including those of American Airlines, British Airways, Delta, Air France, United, US Airways and Virgin Atlantic (see the list here), and SPG will give you a bonus of 5,000 points for every 20,000 that you transfer. (What does that tell you about the value of hotel points versus airline miles?). Hilton HHonors members can already transfer points to 40 airline partners (see the list here). In general, however, hotel points are more valuable when used on hotel stays rather than on flights. In an amazing place like Thailand, there are more things to see than the gay bars. If that is the only reason one comes to Thailand, I feel sorry for them.

Loving the sexy Bear John Goodman in the new Damages
TotallyOz replied to TotallyOz's topic in The Beer Bar
Great show this season! Watch it. John Goodman is great. And, the addition of Judd Hirsch has been wonderful. I always loved him as well. Naturally, Glenn Close is phenomenal.
