Just on 3 weeks now and I shall be back and at Arena

Always travel with insurance and have only had to use it once

Haaa I like it when I double check with the massage boy to make sure he is a top, a lot of the time I get the answer "you want me fuck you" or "you suck me" (sometimes they do it with hand or mouth gestures) then I know I'm in for a good time on top of the massage. vinapu, quite certain MyHero now offer 1.5hr massage, also 2 and 3 hour packages with body scrubs, will be checking it out in July as soie of the boys on their website are hottttttt
-
Looks like the prices have come down a little and some good lookers on the website
-
If not hopefully someone near by will know
-
You'll find plenty at the ladyboy bars in Nanna plaza
-
Just so long as all this is sorted before July
-
Yep best to take them to Nana plaza or Soi Cowboy

Yeah, friend of mine ignored the warnings and went upstairs to see a private girl on girl show (going back some years now but still the sort of thing that happens), according to him the "show" was mediocre at best and when they went to leave they were hit with an astronomical bill that they eventually had to pay in order to leave. If guys think 450 baht is an expensive drink in soi twilight my mate reckons his drinks bill (4 drinks) was 10,000, of course if they refuse to pay they would have been outnumbered very quickly. Pretty much reckons there is a threat hanging over you if you question the bill or refuse to pay up. Can't say if "upstairs" private gay shows would be this sort of scam but wouldn't surprise me in the least
-
Forget Thaniya unless you are Japanese or Korean. Avoid upstairs "shows" on Patpong as they are just blatant scams designed to rip you off, also ignore the touts (anywhere) as they are like the upstairs shows and are just out to get your $$$$

I do like Arena, for my next trip (alas still two months off) I have plans made for the first two days 1. Get on the plane, then off at Bangkok 2. Check into hotel and get cleaned up 3. Have massage and fun at Arena, more for the fun and massage is a bonus 4. Dinner at The Smoking Pug BBQ Day two 1. Waxing at LaNature 2. Anything goes from here onward

I always find Big cut in MBK good value
-
Correct, apparently all the hotel booking sites are owned by two companies, on one side you have the Agoda mob and on the other the Expedia mob
-
Forgot all about the De Arni when I booked the Raya, must check it out when I get there for possible future stays.
-
I booked them for July, first time I have been charged in full in advance for the room (14 nights), usually it's either a deposit (one nights payment) or pay when at the hotel like at Tarntawan. Looking forward to the trip.

From what I've read and heard it's already started in some areas

No longer in just certain areas anymore, they have banned street food in all of Bangkok now, in my view it's just madness. http://www.nationmultimedia.com/news/national/30312543 STREET FOOD vendors will disappear from Bangkok by the end of the year in the interests of cleanliness, safety and order, the Bangkok Metropolitan Administration (BMA) says. In the capital, which is internationally recognised for its street food, famous locations such as Chinatown/Yaowarat and Khao San Road would be cleared of vendors in a bid to beautify Bangkok. A month after the city was named the finest street food destination in the world by CNN for the second year, the Bangkok Metropolitan Administration (BMA) continued its operation to reclaim the pavements for pedestrians and announced that vendors would be banned entirely from the capital’s streets. “The BMA is now working to get rid of the street vendors from all 50 districts of Bangkok and return the pavements to the pedestrians. Yaowarat and Khao San Road will be our next goal in clearing out illegal vendors,” Wanlop said.

For the Malls, MBK mostly for the value, good shopping, movies upstairs. Siam Paragon, slightly more up market but good for a browse and some good food there as well. Central World, I mostly go there to either get lost (not a big fan of the layout but getting used to it) and the restaurants there are quite good. A restaurant that I go to in the Silom / Surawong area is The Mango Tree (just near Tawan), always had good food at reasonable prices.' For me I like Asiatique as it can be a good night out and they also have good restaurants there too

Not sure if they are still going or not but look up Club Hugo Hosto Bar, New Club Uzzo Bar and Vanidoso Comedy and Hosto Bar, they have facebook pages so you may be able to enquire there
