  1. Different prices for Farang and non-Thai Asian: Stickman put it that way, for lady bars, that non-Thai Asian are more likely to accept the first quoted price (which be an opening point for negotiation), whereas Whites are more like to negotiate. I wouldn't call it a cruising place, it's a place of prostitution. Apart from incident in 2013 (analysis here https://christianpfc.blogspot.com/2024/08/dating-thai-boys-98-at-wrong-end-of.html) I consider it safe. I have taken 5 different boys over the last two years, two of them more than once. Details in my blog under gay activities of the month, or label street trade. There is a short time hotel S hotel เสาชิงช้า nearby and I recommend taking the boy there. It's just 200 THB and if you take a boy back to your room, he would ask for 100 for taxi back. The area is now easy to reach with about 10 min walk from MRT Sanam Chai to Saphan Hok (Lifting Bridge) สะพานหก, which I would say is the center. The boys are along both sides of the canal north and south of the bridge. Most speak little or no English. I once spotted a Chinese ? customer using translation on his phone. When they are in groups, probably one can speak some English and translate for the one you like. Keep in mind most boys are straight, which limits activities. Most customers come by car, however I prefer walking. It's busy from 8 pm on (which is different from 10 years ago, when it started 10 pm).
  2. He is absolutely right! Across all ages and places, the average price of prostitution is a daily wage. It's just when first world tourists meet second and third world prostitutes, that things get out of order. Whereas in Saranrom (streettrade, predominantly local market with Thai customers and Thai providers) boys still go for 500. When I was in Myanmar in January, prices as low as 30k MMK (about 6 USD) tip for one hour massage and happy ending. I have to admit I have problems finding boys for 1000 on the apps. I haven't been to Bangkok gogo bars for 6 years because I disapprove of their pricing. It is very important to distinguish what is asked for or offered and what is actually settled as a deal. I didn't know and would never know (different tip expectations for non-Thai Asian and Farang). Whereas that Thai (and I as a foreigner speaking Thai) can get it considerably cheaper, I'm aware of and take advantage of.
  3. I don't see the problem (putting my hands on mocy driver's shoulders, with or without my suitcase between us).
  4. I do this when I have my suitcase on my knees between me and the driver and never had an objection. Else hands on my knees or on my sides. I avoid mocy taxis, I take them maybe 10 times per year, whereas cars 100 times per year.
  5. Super A used to be gogo, but a few years ago they changed to fully dressed boys and thus lost me as a customer. Nature Boys is tiny. There is space for a few boys and customers. Which is not my style. When I look through the door to assess the situation (number of boys, music level, smoking), I can instantly see if any of their boys is my type, and if not, which is the usual outcome, it's not worth sitting down for a drink.
  6. Neither of them, they are in different location. OP, going back in streetview to their oldest picture Oct 2012 doesn't help. I don't remember any bar there, must have been before my time (first trip to Pattaya 2010).
  7. On Mon20oct2025 Bangkok I was nearby and wanted to have dinner in Madrid, but found it closed without notice. Before I take a taxi or go on a longer walk, I would call in all cases to make sure they are open.
  8. There are no age restrictions in gay saunas in Bangkok, however the R3 group discourages older by higher entry prices. A friend is of similar age and looks and likes 39 underground sauna.
  9. Getting medicine from Pulse is rather expensive. You can get the same much cheaper not far away at Pripta or Red Cross. I prefer Hornet and HeeSay over Grindr.
  10. I would put the end around 2015-17, but you seem to know better. The place has been vacant for many years, with original sign still there (deteriorating). I took pictures, but it would take too long to find them among the many (AI might come to help for picture search). Just two days ago I passed, and now finally, the first time since Happy Boys closed, there is a new business in the premises. That's over 10 years of vacancy!
  11. There are a few gay saunas and massages in the provinces. I have been to some of them, nothing to write home about. The boys are no cuter and the prices no lower than in Bangkok. A complete list (to my best knowledge) of gay massages in Esan here: https://christianpfc.blogspot.com/2025/07/gay-activities-mar2025-thailand.html There are gay saunas in Ubon, Udon, Khon Kaen. I have been to all, details in my blog. No gay bars or disco that I know of.
  12. That's very interesting! I should watch more porn! I didn't see Koson/Goson when I went there, and would rule him out for that hideous abdominal spider tattoo. Last message on their Line was 18mar2025.
  13. What makes you think so? Whatever I saw in the free previous, I didn't notice anything that gives away the location. No idea what March is (other than the month and maybe a name), but I thought CMU is Chiang Mai University (the educational institution and a hint that the producer and/or actors are from Chiang Mai).
  14. I was aware that such places exist. But as per Vessey's description, absolutely not the way I do my boy business. There might be some cuties, who might or might not go with male customers, which will be reflected in their tip expcations, if you are willing to wait until they finish work. I will do my business elsewhere.
  15. I have been there twice. Location on google maps is a few meters off. When I went, there was no sign for the shop, but there were a lot of flip-flops in front of one sliding door, so I opened that door and it was the right door. Last time I went the prices were 650 for one hour oil massage and minimum tip 1100, which I find expensive. Close to monorail, yellow line, station Ladphrao Soi 101.
  16. It's the principle. It feels like someone is trying to fuck me, but not in a good way. "entry fee...improve their safety, welfare, tourism infrastructure, and convenience" who believes this? It's just a money grab! Same with visa vs. visa free entries. When I started traveling in SEAsia, I went to countries with visa-free entries (for German passport) first.
  17. In Bangkok, I chatted with various Africans on Grindr and they all wanted 3500. Too much by my standards! How much did you pay? You have to distinguish between what I call Central Continental Black Africans (e.g. Kenya, Nigeria; but not Bushmen, Pygmy, Arabs) and Madagascans.
  18. It is still open, and they have shows each night. They operate differently from what I know from Bangkok and Pattaya. I liked what I saw in July and I will be back.

    Libido

Can you elaborate on Testosterone injections? Two friends have good results and do it regularly. I tried (two injections two weeks apart), but no effect. I thought the recommended time is every two weeks, you got it weekly? The picture you posted is a general blood and urine analysis.
  20. I have a room in Bangkok but I do long visa runs in SEAsia and spend the summer in Germany.
  21. I find Myanmar, Thai, Lao, Khmer boys more attractive, but I could fulfill my sexual desires in Taiwan if I could get those I like. The problem is that Taiwanese gay guys have little to no interest in me. I have no idea why. Apart from that, Taiwan is a great country to visit. Economy is irrelevant. I calculate (Boys in my room) / (unit of time) to decide where to go for a gay holiday. I know you have good luck in Taiwan, I know of others who have good luck, but for me, it doesn't work out. For gay encounters with locals, I go elsewhere. For me, there is a general trend: Myanmar, Thailand, Cambodia, Lao works well. Vietnam so-so. China, Hong Kong, Taiwan poor.
  22. When my parents came to see me in Thailand, we had adjacent rooms in Pattaya. My parents went for an afternoon nap, and I used that time to invite someone to my room. My parents know what I'm doing in Thailand, but still would have been an awkward situation if they had knocked while I have a guest.
  23. Not in my experience. The sauna scene is great and there are some cuties online. But when I stayed for 3 months in 2018, I managed to get 3 boys to my room. Compare that to Myanmar in 2018, 8 boys in 7 days. What's the story behind this statement? I avoid the time and expense of meeting someone at a cafe. Some I meet in front of my hotel or apartment, some come directly to my room. I had a few disappointments looks-wise. The only issue ever was a boy who had my hotel and room number, but was late and no communication. I wrote it off as "no show" and went to bed, only to be awaken by a knock on door a while later, let's say two hours after our date, by the boy! Another time I had a date (boy A had hotel and room number), and again late. I wrote it off as "no show" and got someone else B. While I was busy with B, A could have come knocking on my door, but he didn't. That's two cases that went wrong, without much damage. Now image the time and money wasted I had met everyone, let's assume 500, at a cafe! For me very clearly in favor of having the boy come directly to my place.
  24. Poppers are illegal, but widely advertised online and openly sold in some gay saunas or massages. I don't think the brand makes any difference, the active ingredient is the same. The smell is characteristic. When they degrade (from storage at room temperature), the smell changes and becomes unpleasant. I never bought poppers myself. But some of my sexual partners brought poppers and I had a sniff, but didn't find it any benefit.
  25. What is PP2?
