The writers went straight for the "calienta pollas" side of the project. This season is indeed the most poorly written, and at the same time the more gay teasing.

These shows seem to normalize attraction to high school students, which shouldn't be OK. Yes, most people are attracted to those in their 20s. It doesn't mean we should be attracted to high school students. I haven't watched Riverdale in a while either. Hopefully, Cole Sprouse, who's well into his 30s, isn't playing a high school student anymore.

Paxton at age 16-18 played by an actor aged 30-32 over the recent seasons. And Julien (f) on Gossip Girl pushing 30.
