Just came back from Thailand. 2 nights in Pattaya. 4 nights in Bangkok.

My first time to Pattaya. Got comfortable private car to and fro. I'm so honoured to have forum member @bkkmfj2648 showing me around at night. He took me to Jomtien Complex and we watched cabaret show at new bar Candy. Very professional and nicely done.

Then on the second night, he took me to Boystown to watch the show at X-Boys. More hardcore than shows in Bangkok bars but it's not something I haven't seen before. Saw similar shows in Soi Twilight years ago.

We also explored Sunee Plaza and visited Nice Boys which has been renamed Boys Nighclub. Bar model is similar to that of Golden Cock and Nature Boys in Bangkok years ago. Had dinner at local eating place near Boystown. @vinapu nicknamed it The Prison because of metal tables and chairs.

In the daytime, I was at beach. Saw the volleyball guys at Dongtan Beach. I stayed in Rabbit Resort. Very nice hotel with resort feel.

Your above photo of the sun setting behind the enchanting Koh Larn (island) is awesome.  Let me bring you over to Koh Larn for the day the next time that you return to Pattaya.  Also, it would be great to take you up to the Cosy Beach cliff area of Pattaya (this is the area that separates Jomtien from Pattaya City) as it is often overlooked by visitors - as it has great restaurants that are up on the cliffs with amazing sunset views with Koh Larn in the background.

Jason, I am VERY impressed that you braved taking the Sky Shuttle down from the 57th floor of the Pattaya Tower.  That aged metallic contraption scares the shit out of me - and I have not yet ventured onto it yet - but you did and I am so impressed.

For those of you who do not know what is the Sky Shuttle - here is a YouTube video of someone's adventure on his ride down.  This video is from 9 years ago so he states an incorrect price of 400 baht - but instead the price nowadays is 500 baht.

If you are feeling more adventurous there are 2 quicker ways to descend from the Pattaya Tower, other than the Sky Shuttle.

These are 1.) the Tower Jump, and 2.) Speed Shuttle, as show in the below photos:

And if all of the above 3 ways to get down from the Pattaya Tower - freak you out - there is the traditional elevator.

Yes. I only realise how old it was when I stepped into it. My guy didn't want to get inside so he took the elevator down and met me at the beach where the cable car landed. While waiting for him, I took this video of the next cable car coming down.

On Sunday night, I went to Boys Nighclub (formerly Nice Boys) in Sunee Plaza. @bkkmfj2648 got lost finding it as he took the wrong turn from the main road. We ended up wandering around for 5 minutes before finding this infamous and seedy bar.

There were around 15 guys on stage when we went in. There was one expat customer seated with two twinks close beside him. The two twinks had cushions covering them and it was obvious what they were doing.

I checked my watch. It was 10pm. "Show at X-Boys start at 10.30pm or 11pm?" I asked my Pattaya expert. 11pm was the reply. I turned to my guy and told him to take his beer and wait outside the bar. He can sit on the sofa which I saw on the way in. "Give me 30 minute. Finish 10.30pm. See you later."

Once he was out, I called down two twinks. Found out that both from Myanmar. One was very handsome! If I had been alone, I would have offed him for long time! The other twink was very hands-on. I had a slutty time with them. No cushions required because I just wanted hugs and kisses. Once it was 10.30pm, I thanked them and tipped them 200 baht each.

not sure taking bar boy for bar tour is such great idea.

X-Boys Pattaya is a smallish bar with a stage against one wall. There's a digital clock above the stage. The DJ starts the show exactly on time when the digital clock shows 1100.

One hour show. Good mix of different types of performances - ladyboy diva singing, erotic dancing with cocks on display, shower show and real fucking show without condom. They even contracted the Bboys hip hop street dance team to do a performance. This dance team goes around the different bars in Boystown every night to perform. I tried for as long as was possible to "hide" that I was lost.  I RARELY go to Sunee Plaza - but my gut instincts told me that we were very close.  Once I understood that Jason and #17 knew that I was lost - I put my damaged ego aside and then I fired up Google Maps, and then I realized the error of my ways - I was premature by 1 block.  NighBoys was 1 more block over from where we were and we arrived within a few minutes to our seedy destination.

It was also my first time seeing 20 baht tips thrown onto the stage floor. The guys and waiters were excited to grab the notes.

By coincidence, I saw the same scene the following night (Monday night) at lady gogobar in Soi Cowboy. Also customer from China. He was there with 1 male friend and 2 lady friends. He threw 20 baht notes onto the stage floor about 5 times separately during the one hour I was there.

The ladies were screeching and clambering to collect the notes. I think this is a practice in bars and clubs in China for rich customers to show appreciation to the staff (but more probably to show off their wealth!)

I will be more impressed if those notes were 100 baht notes instead of 20 baht notes.

The audience participation segment was fun and interesting. I have seen a similar show at Jupiter with marshmallow but the audience members invited on stage to take the marshmellow were women!

What I like about the China customers at X-Boys Pattaya that night was that they gave on their own accord 100 baht tip to the guy on the table for allowing them to take the candy from his body. One of them did a @vinapu tuck if I remember correctly.
