you can afford going to Bali twice a year and can't afford shirt for 300 baht  ? Like that 'poor' guy, what is his name ? , who claims destitution while boasting golden faucets

February: medical conference in Fort Lauderdale

Late March-April: Belgium & Paris

May: Cruise--Barcelona, Toulon, Cinque Terre, Rome, Capri, Valletta, Messina/Taormina, Palma de Mallorca, Cartagena, Granada (Alhambra), Portimao, Lisbon, further travel to Sintra, Batalha, Tomar, and Alcobaça.

June: fabulous Flag Day party at my place!

July: Saugatuck Michigan, Grand Rapids, Mackinac Island.

August: fabulous party at my place!

September: quiet month!

October: Sensational New England leaf peeping tour, including the easternmost point in the Continental US/closest place in the US to Africa (West Quoddy Head, Maine), topped by a medical conference in Providence RI

November: just finished a quick trip to Las Vegas, preparing family dinner for Thansgiving

December: Antarctic Cruise, with extension in Santiago

I always love it when someone says they had to go somewhere for a "conference"

My doctor last time I went to visit him said he was going away for a week to Indonesia for a medical  conference 

I said what's the difference between a holiday and conference 

"I can claim back on the Tax deduction he said ,all paid for !

Yep, along with lots of delicious food!

Every night I went to a different sky bar dotted around KL. My favourite was the Helipad bar. As the name suggests, it's a helipad during the day but turns into a fabulous bar with incredible night views. 

I did think about going to the infamous otot-otot sauna but it has been disappointing in the past. The dark room is pitch black - I want to be able to make out who I'm making out with!
