jason1975 Posted 3 hours ago Posted 3 hours ago Arrival at airport on a Friday evening was mad! Many arrivals, mostly from European countries. Long queues. I had to wait 45 minutes. And this was because the immigration officials were scrutinising Asian individuals. I could hear questions such as "Where you stay in Thailand?" and "How many days you stay?" Isn't all the information already submitted online? I believe the officials wanted the individuals to give the responses directly themselves. I also saw them being asked to open their handphones to show their online submissions. Obviously, being a solo traveller and being Asian, I was worried that the same scene would befall me. I thought of questions they might ask. "Why you come to Thailand almost every month?" "Last year you come 2 times. This year you come 8 times." But when it was my turn, no questions were asked. The immigration lady smiled at me and let me off! I wonder if she knows why I come so many times 😜 zoomomancs, bkkmfj2648, ichigo and 1 other 4 Quote

The immigration officer probably took pity on you: you only came ten times in the last two years. You and your boyfriend need to buck up! 🤣 Enjoy your holiday - hope you have a good one. 👍 Quote
jason1975 Posted 3 hours ago Author Posted 3 hours ago The only good thing about the 45 minute immigration queue was that when I was done, my luggage was on the conveyor belt and ready for me. I took the escalator down and saw big crowd at taxi queue. I decided to take the train instead to get to Raya Hotel. But this meant I had to drag my luggage and cross Soi Thaniya which was filled with ladies calling out to me in Japanese! 20251128_210345.mp4 Quote
jason1975 Posted 2 hours ago Author Posted 2 hours ago I was assigned a room on level 5 which was same level as reception. I don't mind the staff seeing me take guys back. They probably seen all types. Having a room on level 5 is convenient because I don't need to tap key card in the lift. 20251128_211350.mp4 ichigo 1 Quote

Isn't all the information already submitted online? Do you think this might be because these individuals had failed to submit their arrival details online and just did not know about the regulation? I have twice returned to Thailand and was never asked at the departure airport for proof of having obtained the online approval QR code. Mind you, I was not asked for it either when I arrived, even though it was open and on my phone as I went through Immigration. Quote
jason1975 Posted 2 hours ago Author Posted 2 hours ago First stop was Good Boys. A new video projection had been installed to make the stage more impressive for performances. I offed a guy whom I knew was fun and good company. We went off to Jupiter next to watch the models and a portion of the show. Poppy wasn't singing. "Poppy come tomorrow" one of the mamasans said to me. At 11.15pm, it was time to move off to a new venue - GASS. It just opened recently. There were gogo boy dancers and I wanted to check them out. Located above White Rabbit, GASS is a cosy longish space the size of two and a half Raya hotel rooms. Decent gay crowd half Thai half foreigners. A few ladies with the Thai groups. 600 baht for 2 drinks. Gogo boy dancers performed every half hour. Can get close to them to tip them. Overall fun experience. 20251129_000027.mp4 khaolakguy, Enchanted_Elixir and ichigo 3 Quote

Alternatively, if you change to the MRT at Makasan, you can get off at Sam Yan. The walk to the Raya is slightly further but is easier. Anyways, looking forward to hearing about your adventures!
