I wouldn't refer to him as ringleader. Just the organizer. Some may also remember our "Fine Dining Society". He organized that too. His screen name was Maple. We started dwindling out the very day Micheal (Crabby) and Thomas left Corner Bar. It just wasn't the same anymore and the new owners let the place rapidly go downhill until it failed and went out of business, which did not take very long We also disliked the fact that the day they took over they fired every boy who worked there, some for years. They had been promised they would not lose their jobs. We did not appreciate that they had been flat out lied to. We decided to meet elsewhere, but it just wasn't the same and we began losing interest. Eventually, less than a year later as I recall, it just fizzled out. What became of our regulars? None of us were spring chickens. Some have passed on. Some have returned to their home countries. Some, like me, lost interest in the bars. Some seem to have just vanished from the face of the earth. As far as I know, now I am the last one from the original group still left. vinapu Posted 11 minutes ago Posted 11 minutes ago I never was big fan of Jupiter , even if I have habit to visit that bar on my first night of every trip. Post-covid I started to have better luck there and must say my last 5 offs from there were good to very good. For Short Time I was never (so far) asked more then 3000, if that much. my last two offs from there were actually Long Time. One guy wanted whopping 10000 , either sensing I need to see him badly or , as somebody suggested above, that was quote in hope to put me off. Anyways , since I wanted to see him I agreed and paid up. Was it worth ? Not really, while I can say only good things about body and performance, I was disappointed when after all was sealed he told me tonight he can only stay till 6 am. Such antics are things putting me off more or less permanently. Another one wanted 7000 and that was money very well spent, no time issues , quite opposite, he was staying till I told him I'm hungry and time to got eat something. He was not there long and I saw him and offed from other places subsequently . Disinterested , sober look of boys is management mandated - customers are supposed not to be pressed for engagement is logic behind that policy, however misguided. as Olddady said, when comes to pricing , only we can personally decide if whatever is quoted it worth for us.
