As mentioned earlier, I booked TCS at the Ari branch. They have another branch at Charoenkrung, which is near Asiatique.(perhaps for next time).

 

TCS spa didn’t have clear signage too so I was trying to follow google maps to find it. It is sort of like a villa compound with multiple buildings, there is also a water fountain in front, which made it so fancy looking haha.  For the booking, 1.5 hrs costs 1490 and they didn’t mention anything other than minimum tip 500. I think it is because they have a villa like compound with more space that’s why their rooms are bigger and more well equipped?

 

He showed me a few different types of oil to choose before bringing me my towel and showing me the shower room. When I was searching the forums, I came across this name, so I thought I would give this place a try when I had some time too as I felt the staff looked great from the pics. What is different about this is that when I was doing the booking, the admin would provide a link to either make a 500 THB deposit or full payment first to confirm/secure the reservation, which was a different practice compared to other massages. I made a 500 THB deposit first. They also sent a message that time will be deducted for latecomers. 

 

On the day of my appointment, as this place was not near BTS, I had to Grab over and was going to be late for my appointment due to a bad traffic jam so I had messaged the admin to shift it to start 30 mins later, which the admin agreed. However, on hindsight, I wondered if me asking to shift it to start later might have caused my experience to suffer? Klover was found on the 2nd level of a row of shophouses so I had to climb up the stairs to it. When I entered, I made the rest of the payment and was made to sign a waiver thing that there is minimum tip of 500 to the masseur. On that waiver, I actually saw that there was like the usual massage human body shapes that other places would ask you to circle where would you like to focus on but I wasn’t told to do that, except to sign the waiver.

chalk it off to experience, if you really liked C , you may even consider giving him second chance . I agree rushing you up was not a great service though and usually death knock for me

Since I have not been to either shop just yet, I could be wrong about this, but I was under the impression that Klover and History of Massage or more of SS or Type 3 shops.  It is possible to get lucky, but it all depends upon the therapist and what they are willing to do.  It also depends on how much extra you are willing to pay, I suppose.  It does sound like your experience was very transactional, though, and a real turn off for me.  Not sure I want to try this shop now.  lol.

Erm… I don’t think I will try C again because, even though I liked how he looked. The experience was quite off putting for me. I did see the clock when he asked me to cum and the 1.5 hrs was not up yet. I remember that there was still about 10-15 mins more.

I am not sure about History of Massage because I didn’t book that, maybe next time? There is a limit to how many I can go for if not I would be too tired lol. Yes, I felt that it was too transactional, like I was a tool for money. I am ok with giving 3000 if it was good but not like this =(. Maybe if it was a different therapist, it would be better?

Hi Ravenflock - thanks for the detailed reports.
To all "experts" I'm in a similar position in the sense that I know Bangkok fairly well, but not the massage scene.  I go to the saunas where I sometimes meet a guy (increasingly rare as I get older, but that's to be expected) and I sometimes meet guys on apps too, but I'm new to the commercial side of things. 

I do like good massage though, and I figured it would be good to combine masasge and fun.  What has stopped me up to now is the feeling / assumption that guys in a "proper" massage shop who give quality, trained massages are unlikly to play around and the ones in the sex-oriented places don't really know how to give a good massage.  I'm beginning to think that there is indeed a good middle ground where I can find both.
I'm not looking for "H-Type / inside" places, but ideally somewhere that I can choose a guy that I fancy and be pretty sure that I'll get a quality masage and the offer / expectation of a handjob to finish.  I presume that the full-service places (H) price their tip expectations higher, but it's not really what I'm looking for anyway.

Could you tell us something about the traffic situation around your hotel in Petchaburi Road? Few members of this forum stay there and so we have very little information in this regard. @Tomontheroad Consider Prestige --  another place where you're likely to get a good massage plus some non-penetrative fun. I say "likely" because my understanding is that Prestige does not have an in-house trainer (at least not on a regular basis) and the boys I've met had received their training elsewhere before joining Prestige, so it can happen that a few of them are not as good as one would expect. 

The places on Silom Soi 6 (see exceptions further down) are also good bets; I have generally been satisfied with the standard of massage, and as far as I can recall, all my visits to the these places had extras added on. However, it always involves in-room negotiation re the rates. Some members here dislike having to negotiate.

However, there are two exceptions with Silom Soi 6. One is Prime - no chance of extras. The other is 9-teen. In my one and only visit, extras were offered but I declined. The massage was not great either.
