Cambodian boys in Bangkok and Pattaya are also marginally more interesting than ones in Cambodia. Wise answer from @vinapu vinapu 1 Quote

I prefer the Thai version as it has a lot more ingredients such as red onion, fresh chilli, spring onion and the all-important dried chilli, all of which give it that extra zing, whereas Chinese style chicken and cashew nuts only has cashews and green capsicum in it, cooked in a rather bland brothy sauce and the cashews are less crunchy as a result. My mum and sis make the Thai version. The top pic is of Thai style chicken and cashew nuts and the bottom pic is of the Chinese version. I realise that there may be regional variations to the Chinese one. jimmie50 and FunFifties 2 Quote

Since @jimmie50 has announced he was forum member number 1, let me rewrite @emiel1981 report of Monday night. "The evening was a strange combination of constantly meeting forum members at different places. First, a coffee and catching up with jimmie at Starbucks, then going to meet jason and his guy at Foodland while jimmie went to wait for his guy at Midnight Bar. Next, i went with jason to meet jimmie at Midnight Bar for a drink. Jimmie left us when he went to eat with his guy at Foodland. I went somewhere to eat a bit later too. After that, i went to have a drink with jimmie and his guy at Freshboy. In Freshboys, I found it a bit awkward that the guy who had spent time with jason earlier that day was flirting with me. Of course, you know there will be guys who have gone out with multiple forum members, but when you know so clearly that this was only a few hours ago, it still makes it a bit uncomfortable. Haha After Freshboys, I went to the karaoke room at Happy Beer Garden to have a fun karaoke evening with jason and four Vietnamese guys." Travelingguy and emiel1981 1 1 Quote

Sorry guys. If I didn't specifically checked if forum members are oke with being mentioned in trip report I don't put names in there. Since I did not think about asking it to you I decided to net tag you in my post. I also never mind being mentioned in trip reports but apparently there are members that do mind. 😉 jimmie50 1 Quote
emiel1981 Posted 1 hour ago Author Posted 1 hour ago I am writing this final part about my last two days in Bangkok while sitting at the airport waiting for my flight to London. It is a bit of a detour, because I am actually supposed to go to Amsterdam, but the war in the Middle East has turned my flight schedule upside down a bit. So I will fly to London soon, spend a night in a hotel at the airport there, and then continue on to Amsterdam tomorrow. My second-to-last day in Bangkok once again had a dinner with a number of forum members on the agenda. This time at Happy Beer Garden. I have to admit that I had actually never eaten there before. But it certainly tasted good. Two more drinks in the midnight bar, but then I had to excuse myself because I was going to meet a guy in Soi 4. I had been chatting with him on Grindr since earlier that day. A Russian guy, traveling alone, and a willing bottom. When I saw his well-shaped buttocks in his profile picture, I thought, I have to get to know him... Haha. And between the massages and moneyboys, a free sex session is nice for a change, of course. Just one drink in Soi 4 and a pleasant conversation later, we ended up in my hotel room. Where he turned out to be deliciously slutty. And then yesterday. Of course, my last day in Bangkok couldn't go without meeting up one more time with my half Thai, half Dutch regular. He never disappoints. Not this time either. I had arranged to meet him late in the afternoon. The session was amazing and ran a bit over time because of it. Which meant I had to rush a bit with showering and freshening up to be on time to meet @jimmie50. Went out for dinner at the Italian restaurant Mozza in the fairly new Central Park shopping center. Very tasty. Afterwards, we decided to take a look at Dreamboys. Neither of us had been there yet (this holiday). Mixed feelings. The guys were pretty good, but mostly not of the best quality in terms of appearance. There are really other bars where I meet many more guys to my liking. Two nice Vietnamese guys with whom I did karaoke a few days ago together with @jason1975 were working too in Dreamboys and smiling at me. But I wasn't looking for guys tonight. Still completely satisfied from my earlier session. What caught my attention was that there was a guy dancing at Dreamboys whom I had seen earlier that week at the shower show in EDT. He can be seen in the video I posted of it. See screenshot. But on social media I also saw him dancing in the shower at Side. See second screenshot. So he dances at three different places at least. Very busy guy. Maybe set a goal for a next trip to get him in my hotel room for a private shower show... Haha jimmie50 and FunFifties 2 Quote

I have never seen one look as bland as in the second photo in all my 37 years living and working in Hong Kong. Hong Kong restaurants cater to all tastes and varieties and most serve exacty as in the photo above which @mauRICE has labelled "Thai"!. But I note this photo was not taken not from his own experience but from a website with one chef's own particular version of chicken with cashew nuts. It looks fabulous but hardly typical Thai! https://www.eatingthaifood.com/thai-cashew-chicken-recipe/ Nothing wrong with that but it might have been a courtesy to mention it. Naturally we all have different culinary likes and dislikes. Quote
jason1975 Posted 32 minutes ago Posted 32 minutes ago Thank you for writing "live" trip report @emiel1981 It really takes disclipine to write daily. Have a safe flight. Catch up with you again in future. Quote
