There is a lot that goes into setting prices.  Some bars have a minimum price the guys are supposed to charge.  At Fresh boys I was told all guys charge the same.  At other bars guys will charge more for things such as gym bodies, fair I think as I get to enjoy their hard work.  
There is also a limit how hard I’m willing to negotiate.  I’m out to have fun and haggling for me isn’t fun.  Also I generally feel they are earning the money.  Even the gay ones would not be going with me if money wasn’t involved.  
Many times on the apps I could have gotten cheaper, but they weren’t really my type or interest.I was happy with the value on my last trip of the guys I went with and I think that is all that matters, even if I could have gotten cheaper by haggling harder.

I take the 'going rate' as a suggestion.

Like you, I believe in getting value for money, rather then how much I pay.

I also give a bonus for guys with great bodies, as I think they deserve be rewarded for the effort they put into achieving those six-packs

I also give a bonus to guys who bottom, as I know the preparation required.

Finally, as I pay by the inch, I also pay a big cock bonus.

I believe you generally get what you pay for. 

And I haven't travelled all that way to waste time bargaining.
