There’s a new boy show bar just outside Jomtien Complex. It’s a large nicely renovated space and is a Boy show bar. We were too early for the show and there weren’t any customers but a fair number of lads milling around. I will stop by for the show in next few days and update.

Cha Cha Cha is a new Thai restaurant on Second Road, just across from Boyztown. It’s very modern and the food is very colorful and tasty with ample portions and good prices. The food is not bland. They use a lot of fresh colorful vegetables.

Planning my Jan trip and looking for some input. I've stayed at Ambiance, The Venue, View Talay 2 and the Agate in the past. Didn't even go to Boyztown on my last few trips, Nice Boys seems to be my favorite current bar.....but there seems to be a lot of Crap in Pattaya. Most reviews mention that many places are run down and lack maint. I like the Venue, but I also like having a microwave to heat up food but the View Talay condo I stayed at had a/c problems among other things. Kawaii Boys has ended its gogo boy bar business. The boys have relocated on same soi to Dream Boys. Reports say Kawaii will change to a karaoke bar. Dream Boys had about 15 boys tonight with many twinks and a couple of bigger boys as well.

I went out quite early this evening and had a coffee in the Boyz Town Soi across from BBB’z I hadn’t seen the 9.00 pm Parade for quite a while and must admit I was quite disappointed and unimpressed with the guys now being fully dressed and even wearing jackets. How I long for the “good old days”

Sky Boy beer bar and restaurant is adjacent to Double Shot Boy Bar. Unfortunately, it’s located on the dark side of Sunee. There are about 4 host boys usually. The Corsican owner is a chef and cooks several different French dinners nightly. I’ve enjoyed several very good meals there. The boys are a motley crew, friendly. Sky Bar nicely renovated.

Any good suggestions for a short time room (3-6 hours) in Pattaya — either around Sunee or in North Pattaya?

The old Cafe Royale is being revamped and is now a live music show bar managed by the Boyzboyzboyz Bar. It was open tonight with a live 5 piece band, testing the sound system, the lighting etc. It will open for business on August 31. There’s a very large very modern electronic sign in English. The upper floors will be a renovated hotel with the Cafe Royale name and expected to open this November. There’s a large stage and excellent lighting and sound system. It will be loud.

Report says they have the same food court as Bangkok, Pier 21 and price are very cheap, kao man gai, kao ka moo 35B etc which are supported financially by shopping mall in order to attract shoppers. http://www.terminal21.co.th/pattaya/
