My first gay bar (as an adult) was The Monster in NYC. Quickly followed by Two Potato. Over the years I have probably been to at least 500 gay bars and loved them all. They were places of fun and meeting and talking and chatting and cruising. However, many of them are now gone. Are more of them closing? Will be loose them the same as we lost the strip clubs? http://www.chicagotribune.com/news/nationworld/midwest/ct-gay-bars-indianapolis-20161222-story.html

Hi All, A 34 yo Israeli gay friend will be in the DC-NY area for 4 days between business engagements, and is looking for company: one or more guys to hang out with, maybe some travelling, ski, other activities, night life.....anything to while the time away, sex included. Socially, he is into all ages; sexually - mature only. To be clear: he isn't looking for anyone to lodge or pay him for anything. Open to travel to warmer areas, like Florida of California. QUESTION: are there any websites/forums/chatrooms to search for such companionship/arrangements? Should I post this (also) on other forums here? Thx (-:

Some members reported issues a few months back when Firefox changed over to the new software and said the site was giving unsafe warnings. This was because it was just a regular site without a https bar. We have now made the entire site https secure. We have checked all and it all seems to work for us. If you notice any issues, please let us know. As always, thank you for keeping up informed and please know that we will make needed changes to the site that make it a more enjoyable experience for our members whenever we can accommodate.

  8. Hmm! Should I Forking Force Myself to Swear More? ...In her new book Swearing Is Good for You: The Amazing Science of Bad Language, author Emma Byrne makes a strong case that, at least to some extent, the answer is yes. The British scientist writes in the book’s introduction that swearing is “socially and emotionally essential” and “beneficial to us both as individuals and as a species.” Swearing is so fundamental to human expression, she reveals, that even people with neurological conditions that cause them to lose the ability to speak regular words are still able to swear. Swearing can offer emotional catharsis and improve productivity. Her hope, she writes, is…

No, I don't know Gem 147, but I feel like we are old buddies. He's been signing on with regularity, but he has yet to post. I do know that he visited y profile page, so that almost makes us related. He is as reliable a lurker as some posters are reliaible at posting. So Happy Holidays to Gem 147. Perhaps someday you will feel motivated to post something, but, in the meantime, It's nice seeing you here almost every day!

From Forbes Thailand has been a personal favorite of mine since my wife and I first visited in 1970 while I was on a one-week Rest & Recreation respite from the war in Vietnam. Back then, Bangkok was a smaller city and lacked much of the vibe of the metropolis it’s become over the nearly 5 decades since then. For one thing, few buildings stood more than 6 stories high; but what Bangkok did have in abundance then, as it does today, were its wonderful, warm, welcoming people—full of smiles and respectful hospitality. We felt like visiting dignitaries. In those days, Thailand attracted roughly 350,000 foreign visitors annually and about 55,000 of this number…

The average American will get between $10 and $40 a month extra from the tax plan? What are you planning on doing with it? I was thinking about buying a couple hot dogs.

The reason they are in the movie is that the set was covered with Puffins and it was easier to digitally turn Puffins into Porgs than to delete puffins.
