Why do you suppose that Anthony Rapp held on to his secret about Kevin Spacey for all these years? Why now? Does he just want to get on the bandwagon? Is it fair for him to spring that on Spacey without warning? Or is the product of a new age where all past sins are fair game? There is no evidence that Spacey has ever done such a thing since. I am not a big fan of his, but the attention this is getting seems beyond proportional. He's not a Harvey Weinstein. If he were, then I would understand this late revelation better. I hope Rapp has no one waiting to reveal some error that he made long ago...or even recently. (And I hope that it isn't necessary to say…

Smoking will be banned on 20 major Thai beaches from November. And smokers who flout the law will face a year's jail or a 100,000 baht fine....or both. The strict penalties are in line with existing ordinances concerning causing damage to the environment. Studies have shown that cigarette butts are a major cause of environmental damage not just to the sea and beaches but Thailand in general. And the government - in a step by step by step approach - is targeting smokers as it tries to rid the country of an unwanted tag as one of the biggest environmental polluters in the world. No mention was made about smokers' health in a Daily News story - the Thais are …

I have been fortunate to see and meet (and on the very rare occasion play with) some fellas who work in pron. This started a lonnnnng time ago when I lived in SF and played with Scott O'Hara, Rick Donovan, Leo Ford and others and started up again when I made friends with some fellas from Rentboy.com (RIP) and got to go to some fun parties. This is all in the past for me it seems as my life is pretty quiet now. BUT! On my last trip to London entering the Bond Street tube station I saw one of my all time faves Matt Hughes (AKA Danny D) and chatted him up. He looked bit rough and quite a bit older from his gay porn days (he is doing some straight porn for the Brazzie…

From NY Times BANGKOK — On a broad parade ground not far from the Grand Palace, Thai masters are constructing a vision of heaven — an elegant, nine-spired funeral pyre for King Bhumibol Adulyadej that will send his soul into the afterlife later this year. Built to represent Mount Meru, the center of the Hindu universe, it will embody the highest of Thai arts and architecture, with delicate towers adorned with images from mythology and from the life of the king, who died last October at the age of 88, after 70 years on the throne. The cremation is planned for Oct. 26, the second of five days of funeral ceremonies. It will be witnessed by 8,000 invited guests …

OK. I made a mistake with the Collaboration Feature. I had purchased it a while back but it was never used. Today, it started to get used so I tested it and could not find a way to make the topics private. I called the company that supports the forum and they told me they have now added this feature to the site. I enabled it and not it works perfectly. It is called Clubs. It is at the top menu to the very right. I have tested this and it worked well for me and kept any posts private. Only members of that club can see the topics. To start a Club, just go to the tab for Clubs and start one. Then, create a Topic. That topic is only visible to you …

I have had some good times there. Although I much preferred the long gone Campus theater the Nob Hill is in a much nicer (safer) location. I don't know if there are any places to play like this left in the US. It will be interesting to see what happens with the business. http://thegayrepublic.typepad.com/thegayrepublic/2017/10/the-gay-republic-unfortunately-was-selected-to-inform-the-public-that-the-nob-hill-threate-in-san-fransico-will-be-up-for.html

Not my thing, but I find interesting and deserving of support this Atlanta based company. I am wondering whether there is a non Black equivalent, or we have here one more case of Black culture setting a new trend that soon ill become mainstream, jus as hip hop?

The Review section on Boytoy is pretty dead. We rarely get them. They were started many years back and they may be a remnant of things past. However, I'd like some community input. I was thinking of moving all the old reviews to a forum here called Male Escort Reviews and then also let people post their new reviews in that forum. That takes away the vetting of reviews. So, there are pluses and minuses for each thing. What are your thoughts?

‘A mecca for prostitution’? A new bill proposes decriminalizing sex work in D.C. I hope the City Counsel passes this and is able to sneak it through the Congress confirmation approval process as they did with weed legalization. It would be exciting to reside in the city competing against Las Vegas!
