  1. White House Opposes DADT Deal By Kerry Eleveld | Posted on Advocate.com November 08, 2010 Following reports that lawmakers are considering stripping “don’t ask, don’t tell” repeal from the Defense funding bill to which it is currently attached, a top White House official issued a statement Monday evening saying the administration does not approve of any attempt to remove the repeal measure from the legislation. “The White House opposes any effort to strip 'Don't Ask, Don't Tell' from the National Defense Authorization Act,” said Dan Pfeiffer, White House communications director. The Advocate reported Sunday that Sen. Carl Levin, chairman of the Senate Armed Services …

In a upcoming episodeo f E - True Hollywood Story, Adam Lambert discusses how he lost his virginity. Here is what he had to say, “I lost my virginity at 21 years old. and it was to a man, not a woman. Uh, and it wasn’t very good. Sometimes it takes a little while to learn how to do that correctly." OK a few things catch my attention here. First he was 21 wow in this day of 12y/o having sex someone as old as 21 seems out of place. The other is ... does this mean Adam is a bottom?

I came across this article and thought it was on point in many ways. Take a look below: America has long been a country of limitless possibility. But the dream has now become a nightmare for many. The US is now realizing just how fragile its success has become -- and how bitter its reality. Should the superpower not find a way out of crisis, it could spell trouble ahead for the global economy. It was to be the kind of place where dozens of American dreams would be fulfilled -- here on Apple Blossom Drive, a cul-de-sac under the azure-blue skies of southwest Florida, where the climate is mild and therapeutic for people with arthritis and rheumatism. Everything is ready…

Not Available For Sale Here By Joel Stonington, BusinessWeek provided by: Dozens of automotive models—from manufacturers that include boutique supercar makers in Europe and mass producers in China and India—may never roll down U.S. streets. Once the unquestioned destination car market, the U.S. is no longer even the world's biggest. Last year, China became the top consumer of motor vehicles. Our list this year includes two cars we'd like to see here: the world's fastest pickup truck and a two-seat roadster with a roof that retracts in just 12 seconds. Nevertheless, you won't see these vehicles in a showroom any time soon. See original article for ten cars with pho…

Participation in the forums seems to be dwindling again. I'll post something and then hours later no one has responded. It's disheartening. And we were doing so well. I know that these things go in cycles, and the other site isn't doing so great itself on new, interesting stuff. But, hopefully the members of this site see it as a special place that they want to keep going and will devote themselves to it. Remember, it is responses to threads that keep conversations going more than new threads. Yes, I am like you, I want to bring something new here and don't often try to respond. But I am better at it than I used to be. But, come'on. we like this place and let's show it! …

  7. Watch the video of the kiss in on the link below: POPE Benedict XVI consecrated a world monument to family, the Sagrada Familia church, in Spain but faced a gay kiss-in protest before he attacked abortion and defended male-female marriage. As the 83-year-old Pontiff paraded in his "Popemobile" towards the unfinished masterpiece of Antoni Gaudi in Barcelona, 200 gays kissed to protest the Church's rejection of homosexuality. It was a sign of many Spaniards' embrace of the changes that Benedict abhors: easier access to abortion, gay marriage laws that have enabled 20,000 unions in five years and swifter divorce. The Pope, his golden mitre on his head to underline the so…

Seven Clunker Cars To Avoid Life is still giving Detroit lemons, but that doesn't mean you should buy one. By Hannah Elliott Provided by Things have been looking up for troubled American automakers. In October General Motors saw sales across all four of its brands (Chevy, Buick, Cadillac and GMC) rise 22% year-over-year. Chrysler's sales were up 37% during the same period, and Ford Motor's sales climbed more than 20%. Ford Motor alone among the Big Three escaped the list, thanks to improvements in product construction and reliability--changes that took years to plan and implement, but have slowly gained critical and consumer recognition. I travel quite a bit and am always fascinated with the amount of money that local boys make per hour. It differs greatly around the world. If you use a Big Mac Meal as a base of calculations, I find some interesting numbers. In NYC, the average cost of a Big Mac meal is around 6 dollars. The cost of an average escort in NYC is 40 Big Mac meals. The average tip is around 9 Big Mac Meals. In Brazil, the cost of a Big Mac meal is 13.50R. The cost for an hour (short time) for a sauna boy is 3.5 Big Mac Meals. The average tip is around 1 Big Mac Meal (if he is lucky). I do normally tip most boys a few Big Mac meals no matter where I am. The result of the money the…

This is so full of win I can't believe it. The story is this woman posts an article about apple pies on her blog a few years ago. Then, finds out that a magazine in New England has copy and pasted the article and printed it in their magazine. She contacts the magazine and asks them to apologize and donate a small amount of money to Columbia Journalism School. The editor instead tells her that "anything on the Internet is public domain" and that she should pay the magazine for running her story. The writer then posts this on her LJ and within 24 hours the collective Internet is hounding the magazine and it's editor. Trolls have completely taken over the magazine's …

Once I hired an escort in New york for an in-call. He gave me his address and said that there was no bell, so I should meet him out front. Turns out that I was meeting him at an SRO, or single room occupancy building. The tacky part was the walk up the stairs and down the hall to the room he was using. The place was dark and creepy. A number of suspicious characters lurked the hallways, all of them gawking a clean cut me going to a room with a guy. Once in the room, it wasn't so bad. It was tiny, but clean. We did the deed, probably in short order as I worried about the thin walls and who outside the door, and I then had to make that return out of the building, but acco…

  21. For some time many of us have wondered just who is Jack Schitt? We find ourselves at a loss when someone says, "You don't know Jack Schitt!" Well, thanks to my genealogy efforts, you can now respond in an intellectual way. Jack Schitt is the only son of Awe Schitt. Awe Schitt, the fertilizer magnate, married Miss O. Needeep They had one son, Jack. In turn, Jack Schitt married Noe Schitt. The deeply religious couple produced six children: Holie Schitt, Giva Schitt, Fulla Schitt, Bull Schitt, and the twins Deap Schitt and Dip Schitt. 22. Iowa Judges Sacked Over Gay Marriage Ruling | 11/ 3/10 03:22 AM | AP DES MOINES, Iowa — Iowa voters have voted to remove three state Supreme Court justices, siding with conservatives angered by a ruling that allowed gay marriage. The vote Tuesday was the first time Iowa voters have removed a Supreme Court justice since the current system began in 1962. The three who weren't retained were Chief Justice Marsha Ternus and justices David Baker and Michael Streit. They were the only justices up for retention this year. They were on the court of seven justices who unanimously decided last year that an Iowa law restricting marriage to one man and one woman violated the st…

It's not everyday, or even every year, that a singer comes along who interests me. My taste in music seems to have stopped growing when I was about 30. But yesterday, online, and today in the print edition, the NY Times features singer Bruno Mars, 24, and, of course, it was his cute face that got my attention. But then I watched and listened to the video on is website, with the song Just the Way You Are. the graphics are great, and his voice is like butter. Sure, he is singing to a girl, but one can imagine differently. I do it all the time! So, go to www.brunomars.com and take a look for yourself. (Sadly, like Paris Hilton, Bruno got picked up in Vegas recently for…
