Rio De Janeiro Gay and Gay Friendly Bars 00 | Avenida Padre Leonel Franca, 240 | (55) 2125-4080 | http://www.00site.com.br/ This bar, pronounced "Zero Zero," has a little bit of everything – a restaurant area, a lounge bar, and a club space where things can get Rio-level fun. There's also an outdoor area for quieter chats. It can be a bit snobby-bitchy, but it's worth it to be so close to so many beautiful young things.

Photo below are the backups for Papa Fran and the Disciples. Already dressed up in their tres gay, petite yarmulkes and matching, tied-in-front, Japanese-inspired obis The gound-skimming tails being oh so gay-chic. Photo taken in front of the Hotel Guanabara Palace right around the corner from Clube New Meio Mundo. I think they were preparing to do an audition number for Meimo Dos Brilhos and audition as her new bunch of Lolitos. But I would like to know if anyone told them that will need to dancing in only their matching hot pink thongs? So, traffic totally sucked yesterday. The metro was closed down. All traffic, buses, private cars and taxis were prohibited from usi…

We all know that Brazilians are demostrative and are outgoing. Here is a cute little story and video of a famous Brazilian fighter who "accidently" kissed his opponent when their face got too close. This event took place prior to the fight last night in Las Vegas where the former champion got defeated and no longer holds the title of champion. The fighter owns several gyms in Brazil. His defeat last night might put a damper on the number of new customers he can get to join one of his Brazilian gyms. http://fansided.com/2013/07/05/anderson-silva-chris-weidman-kiss-at-weigh-in-video/

I'm not from the US but visiting now and it's very strange to me that the US celebrates and is even weirdly obsessed with the sexuality of black men, but not of Latin men. I've been with both, and for me there's frankly no comparison, Latin and Brazilian guys in particular have a sexiness and sultry heat that blacks simply don't have, in Brazil it's called "tesao." It's something that Brazilian (and some other) Latin guys (morenos, some brancos) share, but not really found in black guys (even in Brazil) who have a different style of having sex that is to me more contrived and lacking in passion. Historically the stereotype has been about the "Latin lover" so it's strang…

More protests yesterday directly in front of the Guanabara Palace concerning the visit of Papa Franciso and the 53 million dollar cost being born by the government of Brasil for the Journey For World Youth and International Youth Day this Thursday. I'm not sure if anyone has heard that amidst a throng estimated from between 1.5 and 2 million, Fran is going to be walking the stations of the cross on the sands of Copacaban. Even by me, there are a few hundred extra kids here in my little corner of the world bunking with friends and relatives. It is happening all over the metro area. Quite a feat to see this happening in front of my eyes. Some of them are quite cute and …

For a Saturday night, Meio Mundo was really nice tonight. Centro was very busy yesterday and today. There are tons of youths roaming the city for the World Youth Journey - Jornada Mundial da Juventude. Pope Franciso arrives this week. Downtown plastered with all of these multilingual signs posted everywhere, People wearing little plaques around their necks with the country they traveled from. I've seen almost as many nuns as attend the Metropolitan Cathedral on Ave. Chile for mass on Good Friday. They are expecting 1.5 million for Francisco's Mass on the beach in Copa. So Centro was hopping with lots of youths today. And there was some hot new blood at Meio Mundo tonigh…

It was back to normal at 117 last night. Almost every boy not wants 100.Very few ask me for 120. But I am sure for an English-speaking gringo they will attempt to start higher. First reason they ALL give is that Monik raised their entry by 10Reais. Of course, pure capitalism, they need to double the cost of their doing business, the entry and raise their asking price by 20Reais. On Wednesdays, Thursday and Sundays, entry remains at 10Reais, so if I go back on one of those nights, I assume that the boys will lower their pricing back to the previous 80? NOT. From about 6:00PM until about 8:15PM when I left there was a list with about 15 names. So very busy. However, every…

Last night at 117, I saw a real one. Kind of like around 25 years ago, when an in-his-prime Nick Nolte walked right in front of me and directly into a bar. Should have been an indication of where his life would later lead him. But, I digress. Oh, Nick Nolte was so beautiful 25 years ago. But a real live Brasilian porn star. He's done lots and lots of porn. Not my type, Way, too muscular. Of course, now even more muscular. Without a doubt, a user of "a bomba" or "anabolizades" or "anabolic steroids" A strikingly remarkable face. Just like in the photos and films. I was a bit surprise that he even was working at 117 last night. I would have thought he had enough private cl…

One of my favorite places in the center of Rio de Janeiro. Surrounded by many restored colonial buildings as well as the João Caetano and Carlos Gomes theaters.the old royal library with carved wood reading room. A couple of years back the entire plaza was rebuilt and traffic reformulated. No longer just a bus stop but beautiful area with the magnificent statue with cobblestones and Portuguese stones. Tiradentes was a Mineiro freedom fighter in the 1700's and the portguese colonial rulers. The name comes from his early occupation as a dentist. Tirar means to take out or away, pull, etc. And the dentes part is self-explanatory. Around this square are many colonial buildi…

I found this article on Forbes and thought some of you might like it. The recent protests in Brazil that have caused Dilma Rousseffs approval rate to drop by 27% in less than three weeks, which started as a local protest against public transport fare increase in São Paulo. As São Paulo continues to be at the epicenter of Brazils massive protests, the city has been making international headlines daily . Therefore, it is a good time to increase your knowledge about Brazils largest city. Here is all you need to know about São Paulo: São Paulo is both the name of a state, as well as, a city. Those born in the city of São Paulo are called Paulistanos. Those born in the sta…

Without a doubt, my favorite place to grab a bowl/tijela of this merlot-toned treat. I think what I like is that they serve it in an authentic manner. Your option whether with or without guarana syrup, with our without tapioca, ability to adjust the sweetness level to your own preference. An oral orgasm before the other type waiting for you just a short walk or two-stop metro ride from Clube 117. Besides the tacaca and acai, I can vouch for a sampling of the ice cream with exotic flavors of fruit from the northeast of the country. In my open, don't bother with bonbons and waste your money on. Have another scoop or two of the sorvete/ice cream. Yum! Yum! The eyes of Tac…

We love our football down here,,,along with knives, guns, beer amd samba, of course. A soccer referee was decapitated and viscously quartered by an angry mob in Brazil. In a gruesome display of “Passion” following an amateur soccer game the man was beheaded and quartered. Reuters reported that the referee who was decapitated, Octavio da Silva Catanhede Jordan, stabbed a player on June 30th, after his refusal to leave the pitch having been red carded. As the argument got more heated the ref then pulled out a pocket knife and stabbed the player repeatedly. The player, Josenir dos Santos, aged 30, died on route to the hospital from his wounds. Soon after the stabbing, a…
