Ha, I didn't know you were there...... is a great time... don't worry about the saunas, not missing anything...nor the bars. My last trip there I went to a bar only 1 night.... rest hooked up with guys from that site or grindr. MEX is a little more expensive in hiring then other rural parts (Veracruz, Merida) but 500-1000 is the norm range... I too don't get the Colombians, Cubans, etc... asking 1500-2000. But hey, good luck because there is a TON of big money people in DF that will pay and looking for something more exotic to them.... with a big dick! There is a famous area with a lot of street hustlers, lots of cuties (drove by in taxi once).... but that's late at night.... and even as much as I enjoy being mugged and beaten or having phones stolen...(inside joke).... I won't go there, lol

The main place is a place on the corner of Infanta and Calle 23 (La Rampa) called Bim Bom...in Vedado. is technically an ice cream place.... but is the meeting place for most of Havana's gays... really gay and gay for pay. at night there are upwards of 200 guys hanging outside waiting to meet the man of their dreams (dream to escape the island). Up the street from there is a gay disco called Las Vegas.... bottle service of Havana Club will set you back $10,lol entrance is $3 per person....some guys will be single and hustling in there too.... my preference is to pick up on the street and invite to the disco. There is also a newer bar called Mixxto within walking distance free entrance but the drinks cost more. Also in old Havana in Central Park are hustlers thoughout the day. With internet expanding in Cuba, I imagine guys can be found online as well... but since the going price is $20, I prefer to meet the meat in person first..... Boys way outnumber the foreigners, so they will be eager to please to hopefully get a 2nd or 3rd night with you. MANY success stories of a foreigner falling in love and taking them away or sending them money, so many hope for this dream.

Rent a private apartment, even though hotels are allowing you to register a Cuban.... not sure what the limit or number of times is...plus apartments are cheaper. Don't throw money at the guys you meet, they have limited contact with the outside world and the "normal" price is $20. But because of some foreigners paying 80, 100 or more... the guys expectations have risen....stick firmly with $20, they'll do it. a beautiful apt near the gay scene is at www.myproudhavana.com the infanta location. Owner is gay and by far the nicest apt's for the price I have seen in Havana. But he claims to be mainly booked up through July. Cuba is a very safe place, they are still a police state and no one there wants an interaction with the police. Always check they ID (Carnet) to make sure they are old enough and if you take them back to the apt, write their info from their carnet down on paper.... if they know you can ID them to the police if something happens, lessens the likelihood something would go missing from your room. Since a government salary is about 20-35 usd per month, many guys try to hook up and aren't even gay for pay, they will not perform and still expect their $20 or whatever you offered... so I am always very up front, no action, no money. That's all that comes to mind at the moment

Since I've been reading good comments about Tawan here, I decided to give it a try. I haven't offed anyone there in maybe 10 years.....in the past they guys seemed too freakishly big, asking for a lot of money only not wanting to do much. So I was pleasantly surprised when I saw about 4 or 5 guys I was into...plus the place was packed. I really went being curious about #51 that has been talked alot here but didn't see him... must be popular,lol Had a lot of fun with the guy I did take though... And I know Firecat will ask for pics....so here ;-)

I'd consider coming back but already have plans for Cuba during that time...I'm sure you'll miss me, lol

I'd say 117 is like putting Lagoa & Fragata together.... on their busy nights there id def something for everyone I like the food at Lagoa better..... staff (bartenders, cooks, waiters) at both Fragata & Lagoa are amazing.... I sometimes spend more time talking/hanging with them when they're not busy more than with the working boys, lol

I got in the other day at 5am.... no lines at all. I usually go to the departures level and take a taxi from there..... never a wait and no airport surcharge

If you are very tall in USA , most people will ask if you play basketball.... because tall guys play basketball. In brasil or Cuba, even DR.... if you have a big dick, you know you can make money in the sex trade....so is where you find big ones and many people assume ALL cubans/ Brasilians have huge ones.... I've met non working guys in both places at gay bars/discos and know that's not true..... I've been going to Cuba for about 16 or 17 years now and have seen how things have changed..... some guys had my friend from the last trip that the going rate was higher than 20cuc, he believed them and paid it.... Given the cost of living in Cuba and average salaries.... I have yet to see a guy ultimately turn down 20cuc...... Guys that my friend overpaid, wanted to return with him again for 20 knowing that I had educated him on the correct price. I have a Mexican friend that goes every 6 weeks and he offers 15 cuc ( He likes dark chocolate, nice guys but not my flavor) and doesn't take them to eat or buy drinks......another guy from Mexico offers 10 cuc and they say no.... but in the end, 10 is better than zero and they give in... that's just being cheap. The wifi cards cost 2 cuc, many people will buy them and sell them all up and down La Rampa for 3 cuc all day long so we don't have to wait in any line at Etecsa. What do you pay the guys in Rio? I went to the other bar Mixto....was nice but I didn't stay, no white rum being sold, all gold, or aged. My recommendation is go to Bim Bom, don't rely on hearsay that your type won't be there....

I've always stayed at apartments... last trip was the nicest pace I've stayed and the owner was gay...however he didn't like the number of boys my friend was bringing back nightly and had a talk with him to slow down... because prostitution is illegal and envious neighbors can complain to the police/immigration and cause problems. http://www.myproudhavana.com/ I bought Euros in Mexico and got a decent price to buy them and Cuba doesn't "penalize" them like dollars and take 10%...In the past I've used Canadian Dollars and Mexican Pesos but Euros netted the best result. The black market was paying usually 90 cuban cents to 1 USD but I found someone giving 96 cents, so that was the best I could find. Credit Cards/ATM cards still not working from what I was told (I didn't try though) my banks also told me they're not working contrary to what the treasury dept has released it seems it's up to the banks to make applications which most (none?) have done yet. I have a Mexican ATM in case of emergencies.... but could always have someone Western Union money would be another back up plan. I've been to other cities but Havana is where the action is in my opinion.... why do gays keep searching for greener pastures,lol One of the boys told me that they can be "registered" into hotels now but the owner of my apartment said that if a boy goes to a lot of hotels with a lot of tourist and their Carnet gets red flagged, they can be locked up on that basis for being a prostitute.... apartments are SUPPOSED to register them too and report to immigration but most will only write their info down and only put it in the book if an inspector comes by while the boy in in the apt with you..... they don't want un needed problems with the government either.
