PART TWO:
BARS: Test Me and Sammi’s both have middle eastern hustlers for sex. You can find their addresses online. Most of the guys that come to the gay bars for paid sex also come to Victoria Park. As a result, what might cost you 75-150 euro as take away from a bar will be 30-50 euro at the park. It is worth a visit, though, just to support these businesses that cater to us gays. 

THEATRES/BOOK STORES: There are three theatres and four books stores that I visited where you can find their addresses yourself online. They rarely have guys available for paid sex, but mostly for free sex with other gays. When they did have hustlers, but their number usually ranged from none to 2 or 3. The Athinaikon is the one most often listed, but I usually considered it a waste of my time because men rarely went there to find the paid sex. This is because everyone in Athens knows where to go for the paid sex in a theatre: Kosmopolit Cinema (Marikas Kotopouli). The theatre is located right next to and north of the Hotel Cosmopolit, which is itself just one block north of Omonia Square. It is the red X on the map. When you walk in, be sure to keep your ticket as you can re-enter one more time. I regularly had sex, went for a coffee, and then returned for some more sex. You will see guys in the park area in front of the hotel and theatre who are very eager for your take-away business as well. The guys will come and go into the theatre every few minutes. Once you get into the theatre, you will be hounded by guys in the back standing area even before you can have a seat. Find a seat and let your eyes get adjusted to the darkness. When you are ready, then its time to venture into the balcony or basement for the adventure. I would start with the balcony which can be accessed by the stairs to the left or right as you came into the entrance. That upper balcony area is where the young men will show their dicks and offer themselves. They will sit along the long side balcony aisles, as well as the main balcony. This is where you can negotiate to give them a blow job. However, the funky sex occurs in the basement. You should know… next to the theatres in the Philippines, I found this theatre to be one of the dirtiest and seediest places I have ever had sex. It is not, as they say, for the faint of heart! Thus, I loved it just because of the adventure! The basement area is accessed by steps on your right as you entered the main theatre section. It is a narrow set of steps that takes you down to this small open area where all the guys are smoking (and I mean LOTS of smoking!). They will check you out as you come down the steps and will quickly want to offer their services. Just walk around there to get your feel for the place. It has four bathroom stalls for blow job areas, a back area where it shows gay sex on a very small tv and has but six seats, a dark area off of that, and then two rooms where you can have more active sex. I usually sit myself down in one of those seats and start watching the movie and boys who are all now standing around trying to get my attention. If I like a guy, I then usually motion him to go with me into one of the two rooms where we can talk. The rooms have locks on them. I then negotiate for sex and compensation. Class B guys are the ones who come for one or two clients and like to eat afterwards at a café. They are looking for long-term sugar daddies and usually operate in a pair with their friend. Class Z guys are the drug addicts and you will see them also outside the theatre where they will typically turn 5-10 clients in a day for sex. They will do anything and everything if the price is right. Interestingly, most of the guys IN the theatre are from Bosnia, Romania, Albania, Macedonia, and Bulgaria. Prices here ranged from 25-50 euros depending on the deed negotiated, but they did have to pay for their ticket so I always footed another 5-10 euros to cover that. I also used Google translate for Greek in my profile to outline my hopes as well, since I always want to partake of the local Greek delights!!! Their prices ranged from 50-150 euro’s, with most settling from 75-100 euro’s. This is where your location near a tube station can be very important. You will also find that if you schedule your stay when it overlaps the end of a month when rent and payments are due for the boys, then you will have far more delights to sample from the apps.

In general, over the years I have found less and less paid sex guys here at all and almost always just gay for gay sex. 2-Pedion Park: While there is some gay-for-gay free sex here, it is almost entirely paid sex. Again, before you venture too much you need to go there during the day and walk the area. I would suggest you start from the big main entrance at Mavrommateon and Alexandras. If you attempt the entrance further north on Mavrommateo then you will be right in the middle of the drug encampment area. If you have never seen one of those, then walk near it ONLY once you are in the park so you can gaze on it from afar. Now the paid sex I found starts at the open circle area east of the Pedion tou Areaos. The entire park east of the Statue of Athena and this open Pedion circle area will be filled with guys walking to locate sex. I plop myself on one of the many benches that line that main walkway going east (see blue area on map). From there I just sit and watch to see who is and who is not available for sex. A guy will give you the eye, he can sit with you, and then you can negotiate. Remember that this is actually a family park with lots of dog walkers and kids. But, you will easily know that those old men walking in the side paths are there for one purpose only. I did see two instances of violence… one was an old gay man had been looking at his phone. He put the phone in his pocket but a young man approached him and BAMM hit him with his fist. He then reached into the old man’s pocket, got the phone, and took it. The second instance was an old man carrying a backpack. One guy approached to talk with the man to distract him, whilst a second guy came from behind and ripped the backpack off and ran. So, be cautious and aware. The price for sex here ranged from 25-50 euro and was generally done in one of the private areas of the park. I scouted out discreet locations my first day there so I knew where to go, but the boys will know places as well. These guys are ones that will let you suck them or they will fuck you. I visited in the afternoons and early evenings and have had good luck. I once visited late night right before the park closed, but security and police cars were checking out the area at that point. 3-Victoria Park: This small park is like a middle eastern sex buffet in the evening. OMNIA SQUARE (red outline area on map below): This place is brimming with Middle Eastern young men for sex. This is a place you either love or hate (as our other reviews here have shown)!!!! The whole square is very seedy, but the area for sex is the northwestern part of Omonia. This is the part in front of and surrounding the Hondos department store. The Syrian, Iranian, and Iraqis are usually sitting/standing at the top of the tube escalator that empties in front of the juice bar Gregores (red circle). The escalator that empties in front of Hondos (and the elevator area) usually has the Greeks and eastern Europeans (red circle). As you face Hondos, the side pedestrian street on the left side is filled with Afgans and Pakistanis. The same can be found on the right side of Hondos on the side walk. It is also the case that if you cross the street to your east you will find several outdoor cafes. One of them, whose name escapes me, you will find has old gay men sitting with their young male companions. I usually frequent the outdoor café/restaurant right in front of Hondos where I can sit and watch the boys on offer (dotted red on map). When I arrive at Omonia I usually take a complete walk around the Hondos center and then spend a few minutes seeing what is available by standing at the top of one of the two escalators. Now there is a nearby police station, so do not be so stupid as to do business in public. As to where you can go for sex, that is rather easy. All the boys will know that there are three possible sex hotels from which to choose. One is one block to the west (the one I prefer), there is one next to the Kosmopolit cinema, and then one more one block east of that. So, for those not familiar… once you negotiate what you want with the boy and how much to pay, you then proceed to the hotel. Just tells the boys to show you the hotel. You will probably pass a number of female prostitutes along the way who also use these hotels. Once you get to the hotel, you approach the clerk and hand over 5-10 euros depending on which hotel you go to. No id is required. I do this with one swift motion as I hand the 5 euro with my right hand whilst my feet continue to move to the elevator with the boy. It is usually the second floor if you choose the hotel west of Omonia, but that changes over time. The boy will know the floor. Once you get off the elevator, you will be in a hallway with about 10 rooms. There will probably be one or two couples (gay and straight with prostitutes) waiting ahead of you for a room. Once a room is clean, the maid will motion for you and you enter the room. It has a bed with one fitted sheet on top, tv with porn, a bathroom, two towels, and usually a condom. You have between 30-40 minutes until the maid will bang on your door. Most of the Syrians were especially phenomenal kissers and fuckers. Often they would also ask if I would fuck them as well. Interestingly to me, the Afgans always liked to get fucked and kiss.  My usual deal was 25 euro for the boy and 5 euro for the room. I have found it safe 99.9% of the time and only had one problem. I once got a boy back to the room and he stripped. I then looked and noticed he had a small discharge from his penis even before it got hard. It was clear he had gonorrhea or chlamydia , so I used google translate to tell him how to get some medical care. A friend of mine DID have one problem when a guy could not get hard to fuck him, so he paid the guy only 10. The guy went ballistic and would not allow my friend to leave until he paid more. My friend then started yelling for the maid who started banging on the door. The boy had to relent and my friend left. I never had problems and had some amazing repeat business with these boys. Most of these boys ALSO show up a few hours later at Victoria Park where they are also available for more sex. 
TYPICAL DAY: I would begin the morning with work. Around 11:30 am I would take a nice walk to Omonia Square to see if there was a young male appetizer I might enjoy. I would walk completely around Hondos Center and then stand for a while at the top of the two escalators. I would always find someone. After going to the nearby hotel for sex, I would return and settle down at one of the cafes for lunch…usually the one right in front of the Hondos Center. During my time I would regularly make eye contact with another young man and invite him over for lunch. After lunch he and I would go to the sex hotel for some fun. I would then walk back to my place to freshen up and take an afternoon nap. Afterwards, I would walk over to Pedion Park for an afternoon to sample one of the guys there. Then, I would walk back to Omonia for some theatre action where I would always find one or two guys to my liking. After some sex, I would leave and have a coffee and enjoy one of those amazing Greek rice curd desserts they have. I would then return to the theater for one more round. After this I would walk up to Omonia Square and see what was on offer. I would always take at least one guy to the sex hotel for some fun, sometimes two. Afterwards, I would make my way to Victoria Park. They have some nice caffes with outdoor seating right off the top of the tube escalator that are perfect for eating dinner and watching boys. If I did not catch the eye of anyone special, then I would check Grindr or PlanetRomeo to see what was on offer. As was almost always the case, I would find someone in Victoria Park to take back to my place for a late-night snack. I would generally repeat this pattern, but add the two bars especially on Friday/Saturday nights when new guys would appear. For those not yet familiar with these areas, then simply use the street view of google maps and you can see pretty much everything that I noted above. PART ONE: My work had taken me to Manila for a four week stay last January and again this past December. This is a compilation report of my own personal experiences. 
HOTEL: Makati was certainly the place of choice for straight titty bars and female prostitutes, but it seemed from the gay guides that Malate was the place of choice for gays.  After checking out the various web site gay guides, I decided to stay in a cheap business hotel across from Robinson’s Mall. My gay work colleague decided to stay in an Airbnb but quickly moved out because the place had security guards either registering your guests or not allowing you to have guests unless you provided the guest’s driver’s license 24 hours ahead of the visit. In fact, I am absolutely sure that the Philippines must employ 90% of their citizens to work as security guards… they are in those same white crisply starched shirts as you will see in front of every business. The cheap hotel I stayed in offered breakfast and I chose it precisely because of location and not comfort. It also had no security other than the bell hop. At the Mall across the road was the famous gay meeting place of: Starbucks! I had thought Malate was filled with gay bars, but I was mistaken. However, like Makati it IS filled with karaoke bars and women strippers at the bars and massage parlors.   
GRINDR AND PLANET ROMEO: I was getting over 20 messages an hour from my profile when I opened it on these apps. I laid out what I was clearly looking for in sex, as well as noting that I would be happy to help with donation for a young student’s debt (so as to bypass the app restrictions). I quickly learned how deceiving the profiles of guys can be. You will note that the profiles usually say something like “not a trace” or “manly” to reference being masculine and “tropa” for group action. Two types of guys started messaging me: 
FIRST TYPE--Most of the profiles that contact you will show “masahe” (or some similar way of writing massage) or “not for fun” or “available” or “hagod” to describe the massage they can provide. They will usually just message you with a set price list. This list is for the massage only. The “ES” or “extra service” is something extra you pay for. As was reported on another review, the guys do NOT like to say how much the ES is, if they would offer it, or even what it would be if they offered it. I decided to try a massage for my first afternoon and the guy came to my hotel. The price he quoted was 1,000 pesos ($20.00 USD) for the massage. He also happened to be the one guy that said on messaging that he would offer ES but would only talk about what the ES was when we were in person. I had to meet him outside the hotel and we walked in together to my room. Well, he showed up and he clearly was much older than the Grindr profile photo. In fact, he was wearing so much makeup to make himself look younger that it was just weird. When we got to room, he proceeded to the bathroom and then disrobed to his underwear. He had me lie down on the bed nude with a towel over my ass. He then proceeded to do a fairly decent massage. He then asked me if I wanted ES. I asked what he had to offer. He then said 1,000 more for a hand job, 1,500 for a blow job, or 2,000 to fuck him. I just couldn’t get past the 40 year old in make-up that had used photos of when he was 20. So, I declined and we parted ways. I learned a lot from my first mistake. Thereafter, I always asked to video chat with the guy to see what he looked and acted like before we met. It quickly became clear that a large majority of guys were using photos of themselves when they were much much younger. I finally settled on some regularly guys that came to my hotel every other day for sex. It started as “side fun” but they quickly started offering more for the same price since I was a regular. Because I could trust them for a good experience, I also gave them tips and other items over time. 
SECOND TYPE: You will have tons of messages from 18–25-year-old guys that look very young. Simply put, they are looking for a sugar daddy. They are very very specific (to the point of getting angry) that they are NOT there as “money boys” but are looking for just friendship and relationship with an older man. Make no mistake in your mind, it is not as if the entire young male population of Manila has been genetically bred to like old gay men. As you befriend them, they will start to ask for travel money, then other small “gifts”, and then BIG gifts. Suddenly their mother or grandmother is in the hospital needing care, or their laptop just broke, or etc. The story is the same for many of them. The positive of meeting these guys? I had some of the most passionate and incredible sex of my life with these young sexy men. They were simply amazing and incredibly kind. Most were straight or bi needing money, with the others being gay and needing money (usually for school). The negative? This past December I had a chance to spend three weeks in Greece and one week in Turkey. I’ll write about my Athens and Greece experience in another post when time allows. 
I had travelled much of Turkey several times before with tour groups but had very little luck with finding guys. The good experience happened happened on my last night at the Aquarius Sauna which is quite famous. The place seems to close and reopen every few months. It had just reopened and I ventured into the place. I had a great experience with one Turkish guy that was mesmerizing. 
Fast forward to December when I decided to try my luck again in Istanbul. I first went to visit the three bars/clubs and two caffes you can find on the internet. Even with Covid, they were open and quite busy. I immediately had a few young Turks come to talk with me at each place. Their English was not that great but sufficed. Because of my not knowing Turkish, I decided to not chance an encounter with any of the guys. I considered a blow-job for one, but the bathroom could not hold the two of us at the same time. At another bar I finally met two Turkish guys that spoke English. Suddenly this older British man said hello to me and asked if I would join him for a drink at his table. He then proceeds to tell me that I was about to fall prey to a scam. The Turkish guys/escorts had been making it a habit of taking a foreign guys back to their hotel and robbing them. He warned me that they also spiked drinks and had carried a French guy out the previous week when he seemingly looked to be drunk. This British man and his partner are retired living there. He said it was not very safe in parts of Istanbul right now for gays, so even they introduce themselves as  “business” colleagues.  He did give me one interesting insight. He said that Grindr and Planet Romeo would have plenty of straight, masculine, Turkish guys available for sex, but there had been too many horror stories in Istanbul about what happened when these guys got to a client’s hotel or apartment. Instead, he said I should choose a gay man that was clearly a bottom and maybe even effeminate. They said I would have a better chance of not having a gay attack another gay. Well, I tried it and found one sexy university student on Grindr who joined me at my hotel with no problem. He was a bottom, gay, slightly effeminate, and had an amazing body. He told me many sad stories of openly gay men trying to live in Istanbul. I spent three evenings with him and still keep in contact.
I also decided to return to Aquarius Sauna during the day hours. I had one bad experience and three sexy experiences. The bad experience was a young Kurd that had the body of a God, promised to kiss on the lips, and would allow me to suck him for 700 lira ($99 USD). When we got to the room, he would not kiss at all. I tried to leave and he pushed me into the wall and wanted the money. I said NO and motioned that first there was the blow job and then the money. He laid on the table, I gave him the blow job, and then we exited to the cabin. I gave him the 700 lira and he demanded more. I told him NO and immediately walked to the bar area. The guy did not follow, but the bar guy heard me and asked (in English) what had happened. I explained and he said he would ask the guy to leave since he had followed me to the cabin (notice… NOT because he had lied!). I was then offered a drink and two other Turks came to talk with me. They offered themselves as a top and a bottom for 500 lira each ($70 USD) if I wanted some group action. I was soured on the prior experience at this point so I left. I returned the next day and those same two Turks offered themselves again. I decided to take them up this time and we had a great experience for four days in a row (kissing, cumming, sucking, fucking, getting fucked). 
AQUARIUS SAUNA: This can be a bit scary if you have not been there before. Search on the internet under google maps for photos. The entrance is off Istiklal pedestrian road that connects with Taksim Square. The street is Katip Mustafa Çelebi, Sadri Alışık Sk. No: 29/1, 34433 Beyoğlu/İstanbul, Turkey. You can find a marker in Google maps for the location, as well as a 360 view where you can walk through the sauna. You enter off the main road, pay your fee of 50 lira ($7 USD), and then go down a set of steps to the cabin area. You are given a cabin with your own key, a towel, and sandals. You disrobe in the cabin, wrap the towel around you, leave your valuables in the cabin, and then lock the door. You then can walk into the lounge area where all the boys will be sitting. There were about 10 boys on each visit I was there. I then went to the bar on the right and got myself a drink watching carefully how it was made so as not to be spiked. At that point I had brought the International Herald Tribune so I started reading it. The boys will immediately start to approach you for business. The whole place is very dirty to my taste, but they were trying to keep it clean as you can see from the photos. The rooms for sex required you to go up the very narrow set of stairs to the left of the bar area to what I can only describe as an attic. Once at the top, there were a series of 8 rooms that were about 10 ft by 20 ft. each, with a table/mattress (see the photo on google…the room you see there is CLEAN if you can believe it!). This was the most cramped I have ever been for sex. The guy will spray the mattress with a disinfectant, and then place a large towel/blanket over the mattress. When you are finished, you return to your cabin to retrieve the money. The guy is not supposed to follow you back to the cabin.

PAY: The gay guy from Grindr asked for 400 lira ($56 USD). He was so good I gave him 800 each time and also met for some meals. The Aquarius guys wanted 500 lira per person for the package deal, but the others were all asking for 700 lira ($99). I was told by the British couple that the going rate paid offered a Turkish client at Aquarius was 300-400 lira ($42-$56 USD).

Just spent ten great, very warm days in sunny Cartagena, Colombia.
Highly recommend at least three days to see one of the most beautiful cities in South America.  Inside the walls of the Spanish colonial old town are block after block of colorful, elegant houses, along with excellent restaurants and cafes often with live Latin music.
Everywhere you look is another photo-ready, IG-worthy scene. Visit for the sunshine, architecture, food, and culture — but not a Copacabana-type beach or for anything resembling saunas with GPs.
But how was the "scene" or at least my experience of it?
I'm not keen on the hassle of Grindr but, alas, that seems to be a main means of solicitations. One skinny, online guy wanted $180 (US) and called me "cheap" when I politely declined.  At the other extreme was an average-looking guy advertising for 40K pesos ($11).
I did go with six Grindr guys who did not present themselves as escorts, and discovered later that three of the six wanted a "taxi" allowance (typically about 50K pesos or $14). OK, not too bad.
One problem for hookups is finding a room. Nicer hotels are strict and don't want their properties to become known as havens for prostitutes of either sex. To be more active, I should have booked an AirBnB apartment. 
I finally found two sex motels but they were 20-30 minutes away from the old town.

● Motel Star Suites. Both seemed like bargains for around $15 for a couple of hours.

One guy whose profile emphasized that he not a "scort" took me to a nearby, small, dirty room in Getsemani (the barrio next to old town) and claimed it cost 150,000 pesos which suddenly dropped to 100,000 pesos when he realized I wasn't buying it. In fact, her rate for the filthy room is 35,000 (I later ascertained). Out of curiosity I paid the 100K ($28) anyway to see where this would go. First, he tried to get me to shower while he would wait on the bed near my phone and wallet. I declined of course. The sex turned our to be so perfunctory that I left after a couple of minutes.

Miscellaneous:
Did not experience as much begging as I expected based on previous posts.
Sellers (almost inevitably hats, cigars, sunglasses, necklaces) were numerous but were not too aggressive, IMHO. A smile and "gracias" (not slowing down at all) was usually sufficient, but sometimes "ya lo tengo" (I have it already!) and a shoulder shrug was needed.
 
Nicer hotels will arrange the Covid tester to come to the hotel. I paid $110 with results emailed back within 16 hours.
As earlier posters have noted: The city beaches are small and not particularly clean. I did not take day trips to go to the islands where the beaches are supposedly great.
Reminder: Cartagena is very, very hot. I did not think 90° would be so hot, but the humidity kicked it up to steam bath level 11-3:00.

PART THREE:
OMNIA SQUARE (red outline area on map below): This place is brimming with Middle Eastern young men for sex. This is a place you either love or hate (as our other reviews here have shown)!!!! The whole square is very seedy, but the area for sex is the northwestern part of Omonia. This is the part in front of and surrounding the Hondos department store. The Syrian, Iranian, and Iraqis are usually sitting/standing at the top of the tube escalator that empties in front of the juice bar Gregores (red circle). The escalator that empties in front of Hondos (and the elevator area) usually has the Greeks and eastern Europeans (red circle). As you face Hondos, the side pedestrian street on the left side is filled with Afgans and Pakistanis. The same can be found on the right side of Hondos on the side walk. It is also the case that if you cross the street to your east you will find several outdoor cafes. One of them, whose name escapes me, you will find has old gay men sitting with their young male companions. I usually frequent the outdoor café/restaurant right in front of Hondos where I can sit and watch the boys on offer (dotted red on map). When I arrive at Omonia I usually take a complete walk around the Hondos center and then spend a few minutes seeing what is available by standing at the top of one of the two escalators. Now there is a nearby police station, so do not be so stupid as to do business in public. As to where you can go for sex, that is rather easy. All the boys will know that there are three possible sex hotels from which to choose. One is one block to the west (the one I prefer), there is one next to the Kosmopolit cinema, and then one more one block east of that. So, for those not familiar… once you negotiate what you want with the boy and how much to pay, you then proceed to the hotel. Just tells the boys to show you the hotel. You will probably pass a number of female prostitutes along the way who also use these hotels. Once you get to the hotel, you approach the clerk and hand over 5-10 euros depending on which hotel you go to. No id is required. I do this with one swift motion as I hand the 5 euro with my right hand whilst my feet continue to move to the elevator with the boy. It is usually the second floor if you choose the hotel west of Omonia, but that changes over time. The boy will know the floor. Once you get off the elevator, you will be in a hallway with about 10 rooms. There will probably be one or two couples (gay and straight with prostitutes) waiting ahead of you for a room. Once a room is clean, the maid will motion for you and you enter the room. It has a bed with one fitted sheet on top, tv with porn, a bathroom, two towels, and usually a condom. You have between 30-40 minutes until the maid will bang on your door. Most of the Syrians were especially phenomenal kissers and fuckers. Often they would also ask if I would fuck them as well. Interestingly to me, the Afgans always liked to get fucked and kiss.  My usual deal was 25 euro for the boy and 5 euro for the room. I have found it safe 99.9% of the time and only had one problem. I once got a boy back to the room and he stripped. I then looked and noticed he had a small discharge from his penis even before it got hard. It was clear he had gonorrhea or chlamydia , so I used google translate to tell him how to get some medical care. A friend of mine DID have one problem when a guy could not get hard to fuck him, so he paid the guy only 10. The guy went ballistic and would not allow my friend to leave until he paid more. My friend then started yelling for the maid who started banging on the door. The boy had to relent and my friend left. I never had problems and had some amazing repeat business with these boys. Most of these boys ALSO show up a few hours later at Victoria Park where they are also available for more sex. 
TYPICAL DAY: I would begin the morning with work. Around 11:30 am I would take a nice walk to Omonia Square to see if there was a young male appetizer I might enjoy. I would walk completely around Hondos Center and then stand for a while at the top of the two escalators. I would always find someone. After going to the nearby hotel for sex, I would return and settle down at one of the cafes for lunch…usually the one right in front of the Hondos Center. During my time I would regularly make eye contact with another young man and invite him over for lunch. After lunch he and I would go to the sex hotel for some fun. I would then walk back to my place to freshen up and take an afternoon nap. Afterwards, I would walk over to Pedion Park for an afternoon to sample one of the guys there. Then, I would walk back to Omonia for some theatre action where I would always find one or two guys to my liking. After some sex, I would leave and have a coffee and enjoy one of those amazing Greek rice curd desserts they have. I would then return to the theater for one more round. After this I would walk up to Omonia Square and see what was on offer. I would always take at least one guy to the sex hotel for some fun, sometimes two. Afterwards, I would make my way to Victoria Park. They have some nice caffes with outdoor seating right off the top of the tube escalator that are perfect for eating dinner and watching boys. If I did not catch the eye of anyone special, then I would check Grindr or PlanetRomeo to see what was on offer. As was almost always the case, I would find someone in Victoria Park to take back to my place for a late-night snack. I would generally repeat this pattern, but add the two bars especially on Friday/Saturday nights when new guys would appear. For those not yet familiar with these areas, then simply use the street view of google maps and you can see pretty much everything that I noted above. PART TWO:
BARS: Test Me and Sammi’s both have middle eastern hustlers for sex. You can find their addresses online. Most of the guys that come to the gay bars for paid sex also come to Victoria Park. As a result, what might cost you 75-150 euro as take away from a bar will be 30-50 euro at the park. It is worth a visit, though, just to support these businesses that cater to us gays. 

THEATRES/BOOK STORES: There are three theatres and four books stores that I visited where you can find their addresses yourself online. They rarely have guys available for paid sex, but mostly for free sex with other gays. When they did have hustlers, but their number usually ranged from none to 2 or 3. The Athinaikon is the one most often listed, but I usually considered it a waste of my time because men rarely went there to find the paid sex. This is because everyone in Athens knows where to go for the paid sex in a theatre: Kosmopolit Cinema (Marikas Kotopouli). The theatre is located right next to and north of the Hotel Cosmopolit, which is itself just one block north of Omonia Square. It is the red X on the map. When you walk in, be sure to keep your ticket as you can re-enter one more time. I regularly had sex, went for a coffee, and then returned for some more sex. You will see guys in the park area in front of the hotel and theatre who are very eager for your take-away business as well. The guys will come and go into the theatre every few minutes. Once you get into the theatre, you will be hounded by guys in the back standing area even before you can have a seat. Find a seat and let your eyes get adjusted to the darkness. When you are ready, then its time to venture into the balcony or basement for the adventure. I would start with the balcony which can be accessed by the stairs to the left or right as you came into the entrance. That upper balcony area is where the young men will show their dicks and offer themselves. They will sit along the long side balcony aisles, as well as the main balcony. This is where you can negotiate to give them a blow job. However, the funky sex occurs in the basement. You should know… next to the theatres in the Philippines, I found this theatre to be one of the dirtiest and seediest places I have ever had sex. It is not, as they say, for the faint of heart! Thus, I loved it just because of the adventure! The basement area is accessed by steps on your right as you entered the main theatre section. It is a narrow set of steps that takes you down to this small open area where all the guys are smoking (and I mean LOTS of smoking!). If I like a guy, I then usually motion him to go with me into one of the two rooms where we can talk. The rooms have locks on them. I then negotiate for sex and compensation. I have seen/heard threesomes, twosomes, spanking, heavy pounding of anal sex, kissing, etc. come from those two rooms as I watch the gay porn. The only problem I have found is that guys will usually fake cumming (unless you say you only give a blow job) and say they will kiss with tongue and suddenly they will NOT once you start the sex. Those two rooms are the only real place there to have sex beyond a blow job. I should mention the rooms are nasty and rarely get cleaned. I would say there are three groups of guys at this place: Class A guys that are straight, immaculate, showered, would never take drugs, never smoke, and sexy as fuck. They come only to get one client for money so they can go out with their girlfriend later. They will let you suck them and they will fuck you. Class B guys are the ones who come for one or two clients and like to eat afterwards at a café. They are looking for long-term sugar daddies and usually operate in a pair with their friend. They will let you suck them, they will fuck you, and many kiss very well. Class Z guys are the drug addicts and you will see them also outside the theatre where they will typically turn 5-10 clients in a day for sex. They will do anything and everything if the price is right. Interestingly, most of the guys IN the theatre are from Bosnia, Romania, Albania, Macedonia, and Bulgaria. Prices here ranged from 25-50 euros depending on the deed negotiated, but they did have to pay for their ticket so I always footed another 5-10 euros to cover that. I met several of the class A guys that I later brought back to my place for extended sessions. PART THREE follows…

PART ONE: I have stayed in Athens over twenty times this past decade. These are my thoughts from both immediate pre-Covid and Covid visits last year:

LOCATION TO STAY: This will depend on your plans for Athens. My first trip to Athens was with a tourist group many moons ago. I then transitioned to high end hotels as my work took me there regularly. Finally, over the past four years I have been trying various Airbnb apartments. I tried various locations, but have settled on a general area. I am not going to write where I stay now because I do not want competition for the place!!! I will just say that if sex is to be an important part of your stay in Athens, then apartments located between Omonia Square and north to Victoria Square can be ideal locations. Similarly, you can actually stay anywhere if you are near one of the metro/subway/tube lines.

APPS: Grindr and PlanetRomeo (Hunqs) are very active. Just adjust your profile to express your desires and men will be messaging you. I also used Google translate for Greek in my profile to outline my hopes as well, since I always want to partake of the local Greek delights!!! Their prices ranged from 50-150 euro’s, with most settling from 75-100 euro’s. This is where your location near a tube station can be very important. You will also find that if you schedule your stay when it overlaps the end of a month when rent and payments are due for the boys, then you will have far more delights to sample from the apps. 

PARKS: I visited all the sites listed online but found these three to be regularly active. 1- Temple of Zeus and the National Garden (Zappeion): Much has been made on some sites about the danger of finding guys around these locations. Simply go during the daylight hours to familiarize yourself with the paths, so once you are there at night it will be less confusing. Now, there ARE some times where it is clear there are some dangerous drug addicts. What you find mostly are gays for free sex and maybe 3-5 young men for paid sex. The problem here is finding a location that is private, as you can be doing the deed and 10 men will suddenly appear to watch and/or participate. I found more of the paid guys to be located west near the Lord Byron statue and immediately north. In general, over the years I have found less and less paid sex guys here at all and almost always just gay for gay sex. 2-Pedion Park: While there is some gay-for-gay free sex here, it is almost entirely paid sex. Again, before you venture too much you need to go there during the day and walk the area. I would suggest you start from the big main entrance at Mavrommateon and Alexandras. If you attempt the entrance further north on Mavrommateo then you will be right in the middle of the drug encampment area. If you have never seen one of those, then walk near it ONLY once you are in the park so you can gaze on it from afar. Now the paid sex I found starts at the open circle area east of the Pedion tou Areaos. The entire park east of the Statue of Athena and this open Pedion circle area will be filled with guys walking to locate sex. I plop myself on one of the many benches that line that main walkway going east (see blue area on map). From there I just sit and watch to see who is and who is not available for sex. A guy will give you the eye, he can sit with you, and then you can negotiate. Remember that this is actually a family park with lots of dog walkers and kids. But, you will easily know that those old men walking in the side paths are there for one purpose only. I did see two instances of violence… one was an old gay man had been looking at his phone. He put the phone in his pocket but a young man approached him and BAMM hit him with his fist. He then reached into the old man’s pocket, got the phone, and took it. The second instance was an old man carrying a backpack. One guy approached to talk with the man to distract him, whilst a second guy came from behind and ripped the backpack off and ran. So, be cautious and aware. The price for sex here ranged from 25-50 euro and was generally done in one of the private areas of the park. I scouted out discreet locations my first day there so I knew where to go, but the boys will know places as well. These guys are ones that will let you suck them or they will fuck you. I visited in the afternoons and early evenings and have had good luck. I once visited late night right before the park closed, but security and police cars were checking out the area at that point. 3-Victoria Park: This small park is like a middle eastern sex buffet in the evening. Most of the guys come to hang out with their friends. However, there will be large portion that are available for take away sex. I usually sit myself at one of the benches and drink some water whilst watching the guys walk by. Within 10 minutes I will find someone to take back to my nearby Airbnb. It is very easy to see who is available. On my last visit, I saw a group of three young Syrian men who kept smiling at me. I chatted with them via gestures, offered to take each one separately to my Airbnb for a blow job, and then negotiated a price (25 euro each, plus a pack of cigarettes for each). Once I got each one alone, I was able to also see what else they might do. One agreed to fuck and passionately kiss. I then arranged for him as a regular even as his two other friends never knew. Most of the guys in the park are there late afternoon and evenings. PART TWO follows…

PART ONE: I have stayed in Athens over twenty times this past decade. These are my thoughts from both immediate pre-Covid and Covid visits last year:

LOCATION TO STAY: This will depend on your plans for Athens. My first trip to Athens was with a tourist group many moons ago. I then transitioned to high end hotels as my work took me there regularly. Finally, over the past four years I have been trying various Airbnb apartments. I tried various locations, but have settled on a general area. I am not going to write where I stay now because I do not want competition for the place!!! I will just say that if sex is to be an important part of your stay in Athens, then apartments located between Omonia Square and north to Victoria Square can be ideal locations. Similarly, you can actually stay anywhere if you are near one of the metro/subway/tube lines.

APPS: Grindr and PlanetRomeo (Hunqs) are very active. Just adjust your profile to express your desires and men will be messaging you. I also used Google translate for Greek in my profile to outline my hopes as well, since I always want to partake of the local Greek delights!!! Their prices ranged from 50-150 euro’s, with most settling from 75-100 euro’s. This is where your location near a tube station can be very important. You will also find that if you schedule your stay when it overlaps the end of a month when rent and payments are due for the boys, then you will have far more delights to sample from the apps. 

PARKS: I visited all the sites listed online but found these three to be regularly active. 1- Temple of Zeus and the National Garden (Zappeion): Much has been made on some sites about the danger of finding guys around these locations. Simply go during the daylight hours to familiarize yourself with the paths, so once you are there at night it will be less confusing. Now, there ARE some times where it is clear there are some dangerous drug addicts. What you find mostly are gays for free sex and maybe 3-5 young men for paid sex. The problem here is finding a location that is private, as you can be doing the deed and 10 men will suddenly appear to watch and/or participate. I found more of the paid guys to be located west near the Lord Byron statue and immediately north. In general, over the years I have found less and less paid sex guys here at all and almost always just gay for gay sex. 2-Pedion Park: While there is some gay-for-gay free sex here, it is almost entirely paid sex. Again, before you venture too much you need to go there during the day and walk the area. I would suggest you start from the big main entrance at Mavrommateon and Alexandras. If you attempt the entrance further north on Mavrommateo then you will be right in the middle of the drug encampment area. If you have never seen one of those, then walk near it ONLY once you are in the park so you can gaze on it from afar. Now the paid sex I found starts at the open circle area east of the Pedion tou Areaos. The entire park east of the Statue of Athena and this open Pedion circle area will be filled with guys walking to locate sex. I plop myself on one of the many benches that line that main walkway going east (see blue area on map). From there I just sit and watch to see who is and who is not available for sex. A guy will give you the eye, he can sit with you, and then you can negotiate. Remember that this is actually a family park with lots of dog walkers and kids. But, you will easily know that those old men walking in the side paths are there for one purpose only. I did see two instances of violence… one was an old gay man had been looking at his phone. He put the phone in his pocket but a young man approached him and BAMM hit him with his fist. He then reached into the old man’s pocket, got the phone, and took it. The second instance was an old man carrying a backpack. One guy approached to talk with the man to distract him, whilst a second guy came from behind and ripped the backpack off and ran. So, be cautious and aware. The price for sex here ranged from 25-50 euro and was generally done in one of the private areas of the park. I scouted out discreet locations my first day there so I knew where to go, but the boys will know places as well. These guys are ones that will let you suck them or they will fuck you. I visited in the afternoons and early evenings and have had good luck. I once visited late night right before the park closed, but security and police cars were checking out the area at that point. 3-Victoria Park: This small park is like a middle eastern sex buffet in the evening. Most of the guys come to hang out with their friends. However, there will be large portion that are available for take away sex. I usually sit myself at one of the benches and drink some water whilst watching the guys walk by. Within 10 minutes I will find someone to take back to my nearby Airbnb. It is very easy to see who is available. On my last visit, I saw a group of three young Syrian men who kept smiling at me. What a great story! Its like the old image of making lemonade out of lemons!    You were right to be a bit concerned about the south side of Omonia Square. Whilst I was there, the police were regularly making arrests on that side for drug dealing. The boys told me that the drugs are on the south side and the sex on the north side.    You do raise an interesting point, though.   In all my years of travelling there, I only met three genuinely Greek guys at Omonia, the Theatre, Zappeion, Pedion, the bars, and Victoria. I had travelled much of Turkey several times before with tour groups but had very little luck with finding guys. AQUARIUS SAUNA: This can be a bit scary if you have not been there before. Search on the internet under google maps for photos. The entrance is off Istiklal pedestrian road that connects with Taksim Square. The street is Katip Mustafa Çelebi, Sadri Alışık Sk. No: 29/1, 34433 Beyoğlu/İstanbul, Turkey. You can find a marker in Google maps for the location, as well as a 360 view where you can walk through the sauna. You enter off the main road, pay your fee of 50 lira ($7 USD), and then go down a set of steps to the cabin area. You are given a cabin with your own key, a towel, and sandals. You disrobe in the cabin, wrap the towel around you, leave your valuables in the cabin, and then lock the door. You then can walk into the lounge area where all the boys will be sitting. There were about 10 boys on each visit I was there. I then went to the bar on the right and got myself a drink watching carefully how it was made so as not to be spiked. At that point I had brought the International Herald Tribune so I started reading it. The boys will immediately start to approach you for business. The whole place is very dirty to my taste, but they were trying to keep it clean as you can see from the photos. The rooms for sex required you to go up the very narrow set of stairs to the left of the bar area to what I can only describe as an attic. I would have simply withered when the manager was at the door!   I remember visiting the Istanbul Military Museum (one of the best in the world) and this Turkish guy struck up an English conversation with me. He said he was wanting to practice his English, but it was also clear he was someone I would peg as gay in DC or London. My normally fine-tuned middle eastern gaydar just seemed to be off in this much different Turkish culture. The Turks and Kurds there are so supremely sexy, though.

I found nothing in Bodrum. I visited Izmir for three days on my way back from Ephesus, but it was two years ago. I visited three of the major gay friendly dance clubs/bars that were listed, but the problem was that I was staying with a friend so I could not bring anyone back. The CIX Club was gigantic. The moment I walked in I realized things would be interesting as everyone there was less than 30 years of age.  Everyone clearly knew what this old man came to find and it was NOT just to dance! Half the place starting smiling and walking up to chat, but it was also true that half of the place started reaching into my pockets and trying to steal from me. I went to Club KA and found mostly Kurds there who were straight for pay. They were sexy and ready to go, but again no place. OMNIA SQUARE (red outline area on map below): This place is brimming with Middle Eastern young men for sex. This is a place you either love or hate (as our other reviews here have shown)!!!! The whole square is very seedy, but the area for sex is the northwestern part of Omonia. This is the part in front of and surrounding the Hondos department store. The Syrian, Iranian, and Iraqis are usually sitting/standing at the top of the tube escalator that empties in front of the juice bar Gregores (red circle). The escalator that empties in front of Hondos (and the elevator area) usually has the Greeks and eastern Europeans (red circle). As you face Hondos, the side pedestrian street on the left side is filled with Afgans and Pakistanis. The same can be found on the right side of Hondos on the side walk. It is also the case that if you cross the street to your east you will find several outdoor cafes. One of them, whose name escapes me, you will find has old gay men sitting with their young male companions. I usually frequent the outdoor café/restaurant right in front of Hondos where I can sit and watch the boys on offer (dotted red on map). When I arrive at Omonia I usually take a complete walk around the Hondos center and then spend a few minutes seeing what is available by standing at the top of one of the two escalators. Now there is a nearby police station, so do not be so stupid as to do business in public. As to where you can go for sex, that is rather easy. All the boys will know that there are three possible sex hotels from which to choose. One is one block to the west (the one I prefer), there is one next to the Kosmopolit cinema, and then one more one block east of that. Oh my! It sounds as though you and I have travelled to many of the same places. Twenty years ago I began the quest to explore the ancient Roman, Early Christian, Byzantine, and Crusader sites of northern Africa and the Middle East. I did extreme western Egypt about 10 years ago. I took a Land Rover up to Marsa Matru, Sidi Barrani, and El Salloum. I then came back through Siwa Oasis to Bahariya Oasis and along the famous Oasis route 60. Another year I did the whole Abu Simbel to Port Said trip. I wanted to head over to Sharq El Owainat but the driver was too scared. I had completed the whole Alexandria to Abu Simbel trek many times via car, train, plane, and boat (Nile and Canal).
I visited Sharm El-Sheikh two years ago because I wanted to do the whole St. Catherine monastery trek and climb the mountain of Charleton Heston. Sharm was filled with more Russian, German, and UK tourists than Egyptians it seemed. Easy Jet had made the place quite accessible. I stayed at Tropitel Waves Naama Bay and had a good experience. A gay Egyptian friend from Alexandria told me that the Sharm is certainly ripe now for gays to explore with some male fun. Previously the guys mainly were only interested in the money and sex of the countless old foreign women that were there. With the collapse of the tourist market, most hotels are closed and my friend said it was almost to the point that the guys were even paying HIM to suck them off when he visited. I found only one guy in my resort hotel for sex (a room attendant). Outside the resort, I tried the supposed Marine Park by the Albatross Hotel. I had no luck there, nor the corners of High El Noor and Nabaq as mentioned on the web. Now, you should know they are NOT allowed into your rooms or they will be fired. However, about 2 am that night I heard a gentle knock on my door. I looked through the peep hole and there he was. He came in and we chatted for about 5 minutes. I told him how much I would pay and he obliged. It was our only encounter as he said later he couldn’t risk losing the job.  NOW…there is one dangerous experience a German friend from Aswan described to me that happened to him. IF you get assigned on the lower floor with the outside small balcony near the water line, then you will get an offer that can be risky. During your cruise these fast open speed boats will pull alongside the cruise boat and some young men will offer trinkets for sell. When you say no, they will also rub their dick as to offer it. The German smiled, said yes, and waived 200 pounds to the guy. The boat then pulled alongside the cruise ship and the guy hopped off the boat, onto the balcony, and into the room. The German said the blow job was less than 30 seconds, he then took a photo which I saw to confirm the guy was there, and then the guy looked outside as the boat sped up and collected his friend. ANY ACTION WITH MILITARY GUYS? Yes, but more so in previous years before the gay crackdown in Egypt. Because of the Egyptian police, I won’t be specific on locations or identify where the military guys are usually available. I will offer this in general about recent times. You will find that some of the horse carriage drivers in Luxor and Aswan will be two weeks to a month away from joining the military. These guys will be 18-20 years of age, perfect bodies, and great teeth! This contrasts with the older carriage drivers or the more lower class young guys that will spend their lives as drivers. You can tell the latter because it is clear they don’t just drive the carriage, but also tend the horses as well. Now these pre-military “God like” guys do not own the carriage or horse, but their friends allow them to drive the carriage for a few weeks to get cash before they have to join the military. These guys are desperate for cash and will tell you they are soon to be going to the military (I know this is true because I even went to one guy’s installation service in Luxor after he was a regular with me for one month). When they ask if you are married and you say you are not, then you can see if they will offer themselves. You can ask them to take you to a quiet place and they will find one. I may do another post just on the positive and negatives of the horse carriage drivers, as there can be some problems associate with them as well. Now, as for active military in recent years where it turned bad, I will offer the story told my French friend living in Aswan. He was visiting Karnak at Luxor and noticed that a sexy military guy was following him. They had rounded a part of the remains where there was some privacy and the military guy offered his dick. The Frenchman showed him 200 pounds and then did the deed. Afterwards, the military guy asked for more money. When the Frenchman would not pay, the military guy took off his rifle and pointed to it, and then pushed the Frenchman against the wall. He then took the Frenchman’s wallet, took all the cash, and then threw the wallet on the ground and walked off. MOVIE THEATRES? The legit theatres in Cairo that were previously frequented for M4M sex are closed now due to the government crackdown on gays. I had luck at the one theatre in Luxor three years ago by sheer chance of a single guy being there and only two other couples. I had no luck the last time as there were just too many couples there making out. 
HAVE YOU HAD SUCCESS ALONG THE NILE IN CAIRO? Yes, many years ago. If you read the net you will see that there have been massive arrests and crackdowns there and the famous Nile Bridge where I used to meet guys. I walked along the Nile on the west side for some exercise my last stay. I have learned that if you stop and gaze at the Nile for about 15 minutes, then a young man eventually seems to stop near you to do the same. I had luck with many guys this way in the past, but now I only chat/flirt and do not risk bringing the guy back. The temptation is so great, but it is too risky because the Egyptian police are actively setting up stings to ensnare men.

DID YOU TRY GRINDR? Same answer as above and before. The stories of arrests are all over the internet about guys ensnared by Grindr hookups. I haven’t the slightest doubt that the Egyptian police also look at this board when it will show-up on google search. If you use Grindr then presume you have a better than 50-50 chance you are talking to the police. On my last stay in Aswan I opened Grindr and had about 10 men contact me. I decided to take the photos they provided and did a reverse image search on google. Not surprisingly, the photos were copied from other men. Be warned!
ANY PROBLEMS WITH VIOLENCE? I have not, but a German friend had a violent guy just like the Frenchman did above. He took a young guy to his apartment in Luxor. They did the deed and the German paid. The young man then asked for more money. When the German did not pay, the young guy started breaking lamps, plates, and other things. He then took the small suitcase the German had in the bedroom and ran out. The German could not report it to police given the nature of the visit. I’ve made it a point to never bring a guy back in Egypt given that you can usually always find some other place to do the deed. The exceptions have been in the large hotels in Luxor and Aswan where I have had luck with hotel workers and security guards in my room. Please note that the MO of the horse carriage drivers will almost always be to expect more money, throw up their hands in disgust, and not accept what you agreed upon. It doesn’t happen all the time, but it does happen. As mentioned earlier, I just throw the money on the ground and walk away if they won’t take what we agreed upon. 
ARE BOAT TOURS SAFE—LUXOR AND ASWAN?: If you have never been on a boat ride on the Nile, then you really should do it at least once even if there is no sex involved. It is magically! I would say there are FOUR kinds of boat rides in these cities. The FIRST is the standard group boat/taxi ferry that takes you directly back and forth across the Nile. It is cheap, usually segmented by male/female, and packed with people. You will not be having sex here because it is open, your are with a group, and takes only 5 minutes to cross the Nile. The SECOND kind is the open motorboats that you can rent. This is where the young sexy guys will be waiting on the boardwalk and asking if you want a boat ride. These are open small boats with no tops and have an outboard style motor on the back. Think of them like a taxi on the water. You tell the guy where you want to go and negotiate the price. Make sure you convey that you want to go to say, Banana Island, AND BACK! Remember they are always looking to get more money out of you. You then walk down, get in the boat, and go to where you want. This is where the gay “bait and switch” can happen. On my first trip, I settled on a price, got to the boat, and then some old man got on the boat as the driver as the young sexy guy waved and pushed us off. I was pissed. It should be said that if you use these boats during the day hours, then no sex will occur because these boats have no privacy. At night, however, there is a time for sex. I had a sexy guy ask me at night if I wanted a ride on the Nile. We negotiated a price and went to the boat. As I was getting on, another young boy joined as the driver. I was a little pissed because I had thought I could have some privacy with my first guy. Well, once we got out on the Nile where there are few lights, the driver cut the motor and we quietly drifted. Then the driver came and sat in front of me with the other sexy guy to my side. They used gestures to ask if I was married. I said no, and then it became clear they were both available. I offered 100 each, they countered with 200, and we settled on 150 pounds each ($10 USD) for a blow job under the stars whilst on the Nile. The THIRD kind of boat ride is the sail boat. This is where the true gay “bait and switch” happens. The sexy guys on the Boardwalk will lure you to the boat “just to see the boat”. Then, an old guy pops up and starts to offer you a group discount for a 3-5 night boat trip on the Nile. He will often rub his cock, and will say you and your friends will have a great time. So, if you want an overnight sail boat ride, you can certainly arrange it. One Belgium friend did and made it clear to the owner that he wanted two sexy guys to join him and his partner on the trip. They had a blast, but I was never patient enough because I had plenty of land opportunities and more guys to try. These same sail boats also offer a one or two hour ride on the Nile. This is where (in Aswan) you can sit outside at McDonald’s and be approached by boat owners for a ride. I have given many a blow job once I can ensure that the sexy guy I am talking with is the actual driver. The FOURTH kind of boat ride is the felucca. A one hour felucca on the Nile is majestic and worth it even without the sex. You CAN, though, find a sexy guy and make some action happen. I found nothing in Bodrum. I visited Izmir for three days on my way back from Ephesus, but it was two years ago. Fast forward to December when I decided to try my luck again in Istanbul. I first went to visit the three bars/clubs and two caffes you can find on the internet. Even with Covid, they were open and quite busy. I immediately had a few young Turks come to talk with me at each place. Their English was not that great but sufficed. Because of my not knowing Turkish, I decided to not chance an encounter with any of the guys. I considered a blow-job for one, but the bathroom could not hold the two of us at the same time. At another bar I finally met two Turkish guys that spoke English. Suddenly this older British man said hello to me and asked if I would join him for a drink at his table. He said that Grindr and Planet Romeo would have plenty of straight, masculine, Turkish guys available for sex, but there had been too many horror stories in Istanbul about what happened when these guys got to a client’s hotel or apartment. Instead, he said I should choose a gay man that was clearly a bottom and maybe even effeminate. They said I would have a better chance of not having a gay attack another gay. Well, I tried it and found one sexy university student on Grindr who joined me at my hotel with no problem. He was a bottom, gay, slightly effeminate, and had an amazing body. I returned the next day and those same two Turks offered themselves again. I decided to take them up this time and we had a great experience for four days in a row (kissing, cumming, sucking, fucking, getting fucked). 
AQUARIUS SAUNA: This can be a bit scary if you have not been there before. Search on the internet under google maps for photos. The entrance is off Istiklal pedestrian road that connects with Taksim Square. The street is Katip Mustafa Çelebi, Sadri Alışık Sk. No: 29/1, 34433 Beyoğlu/İstanbul, Turkey. You can find a marker in Google maps for the location, as well as a 360 view where you can walk through the sauna. You enter off the main road, pay your fee of 50 lira ($7 USD), and then go down a set of steps to the cabin area. You are given a cabin with your own key, a towel, and sandals. You disrobe in the cabin, wrap the towel around you, leave your valuables in the cabin, and then lock the door. You then can walk into the lounge area where all the boys will be sitting. There were about 10 boys on each visit I was there. I then went to the bar on the right and got myself a drink watching carefully how it was made so as not to be spiked. At that point I had brought the International Herald Tribune so I started reading it. The boys will immediately start to approach you for business. The whole place is very dirty to my taste, but they were trying to keep it clean as you can see from the photos. The rooms for sex required you to go up the very narrow set of stairs to the left of the bar area to what I can only describe as an attic. Once at the top, there were a series of 8 rooms that were about 10 ft by 20 ft. each, with a table/mattress (see the photo on google…the room you see there is CLEAN if you can believe it!). This was the most cramped I have ever been for sex. The guy will spray the mattress with a disinfectant, and then place a large towel/blanket over the mattress. When you are finished, you return to your cabin to retrieve the money. The guy is not supposed to follow you back to the cabin.

OMNIA SQUARE (red outline area on map below): This place is brimming with Middle Eastern young men for sex. This is a place you either love or hate (as our other reviews here have shown)!!!! The whole square is very seedy, but the area for sex is the northwestern part of Omonia. This is the part in front of and surrounding the Hondos department store. The Syrian, Iranian, and Iraqis are usually sitting/standing at the top of the tube escalator that empties in front of the juice bar Gregores (red circle). The escalator that empties in front of Hondos (and the elevator area) usually has the Greeks and eastern Europeans (red circle). As you face Hondos, the side pedestrian street on the left side is filled with Afgans and Pakistanis. The same can be found on the right side of Hondos on the side walk. It is also the case that if you cross the street to your east you will find several outdoor cafes. One of them, whose name escapes me, you will find has old gay men sitting with their young male companions. I usually frequent the outdoor café/restaurant right in front of Hondos where I can sit and watch the boys on offer (dotted red on map). When I arrive at Omonia I usually take a complete walk around the Hondos center and then spend a few minutes seeing what is available by standing at the top of one of the two escalators. Now there is a nearby police station, so do not be so stupid as to do business in public. As to where you can go for sex, that is rather easy. All the boys will know that there are three possible sex hotels from which to choose. One is one block to the west (the one I prefer), there is one next to the Kosmopolit cinema, and then one more one block east of that. So, for those not familiar… once you negotiate what you want with the boy and how much to pay, you then proceed to the hotel. Just tells the boys to show you the hotel. You will probably pass a number of female prostitutes along the way who also use these hotels. Once you get to the hotel, you approach the clerk and hand over 5-10 euros depending on which hotel you go to. No id is required. I do this with one swift motion as I hand the 5 euro with my right hand whilst my feet continue to move to the elevator with the boy. It is usually the second floor if you choose the hotel west of Omonia, but that changes over time. The boy will know the floor. Once you get off the elevator, you will be in a hallway with about 10 rooms. There will probably be one or two couples (gay and straight with prostitutes) waiting ahead of you for a room. Once a room is clean, the maid will motion for you and you enter the room. It has a bed with one fitted sheet on top, tv with porn, a bathroom, two towels, and usually a condom. You have between 30-40 minutes until the maid will bang on your door. Most of the Syrians were especially phenomenal kissers and fuckers. Often they would also ask if I would fuck them as well. Interestingly to me, the Afgans always liked to get fucked and kiss.  My usual deal was 25 euro for the boy and 5 euro for the room. I have found it safe 99.9% of the time and only had one problem. I once got a boy back to the room and he stripped. I then looked and noticed he had a small discharge from his penis even before it got hard. It was clear he had gonorrhea or chlamydia , so I used google translate to tell him how to get some medical care. TYPICAL DAY: I would begin the morning with work. Around 11:30 am I would take a nice walk to Omonia Square to see if there was a young male appetizer I might enjoy. I would walk completely around Hondos Center and then stand for a while at the top of the two escalators. I would always find someone. After going to the nearby hotel for sex, I would return and settle down at one of the cafes for lunch…usually the one right in front of the Hondos Center. If I did not catch the eye of anyone special, then I would check Grindr or PlanetRomeo to see what was on offer. As was almost always the case, I would find someone in Victoria Park to take back to my place for a late-night snack. I would generally repeat this pattern, but add the two bars especially on Friday/Saturday nights when new guys would appear. For those not yet familiar with these areas, then simply use the street view of google maps and you can see pretty much everything that I noted above. PART TWO:
BARS: Test Me and Sammi’s both have middle eastern hustlers for sex. You can find their addresses online. Most of the guys that come to the gay bars for paid sex also come to Victoria Park. As a result, what might cost you 75-150 euro as take away from a bar will be 30-50 euro at the park. It is worth a visit, though, just to support these businesses that cater to us gays. 

THEATRES/BOOK STORES: There are three theatres and four books stores that I visited where you can find their addresses yourself online. They rarely have guys available for paid sex, but mostly for free sex with other gays. When they did have hustlers, but their number usually ranged from none to 2 or 3. The Athinaikon is the one most often listed, but I usually considered it a waste of my time because men rarely went there to find the paid sex. This is because everyone in Athens knows where to go for the paid sex in a theatre: Kosmopolit Cinema (Marikas Kotopouli). The theatre is located right next to and north of the Hotel Cosmopolit, which is itself just one block north of Omonia Square. It is the red X on the map. When you walk in, be sure to keep your ticket as you can re-enter one more time. I regularly had sex, went for a coffee, and then returned for some more sex. You will see guys in the park area in front of the hotel and theatre who are very eager for your take-away business as well. The guys will come and go into the theatre every few minutes. Once you get into the theatre, you will be hounded by guys in the back standing area even before you can have a seat. Find a seat and let your eyes get adjusted to the darkness. When you are ready, then its time to venture into the balcony or basement for the adventure. I would start with the balcony which can be accessed by the stairs to the left or right as you came into the entrance. That upper balcony area is where the young men will show their dicks and offer themselves. They will sit along the long side balcony aisles, as well as the main balcony. This is where you can negotiate to give them a blow job. However, the funky sex occurs in the basement. You should know… next to the theatres in the Philippines, I found this theatre to be one of the dirtiest and seediest places I have ever had sex. It is not, as they say, for the faint of heart! If I like a guy, I then usually motion him to go with me into one of the two rooms where we can talk. The rooms have locks on them. I then negotiate for sex and compensation. The only problem I have found is that guys will usually fake cumming (unless you say you only give a blow job) and say they will kiss with tongue and suddenly they will NOT once you start the sex. Those two rooms are the only real place there to have sex beyond a blow job. I should mention the rooms are nasty and rarely get cleaned. I would say there are three groups of guys at this place: Class A guys that are straight, immaculate, showered, would never take drugs, never smoke, and sexy as fuck. They come only to get one client for money so they can go out with their girlfriend later. They will let you suck them and they will fuck you. Class B guys are the ones who come for one or two clients and like to eat afterwards at a café. They are looking for long-term sugar daddies and usually operate in a pair with their friend. They will let you suck them, they will fuck you, and many kiss very well. Class Z guys are the drug addicts and you will see them also outside the theatre where they will typically turn 5-10 clients in a day for sex. They will do anything and everything if the price is right. Interestingly, most of the guys IN the theatre are from Bosnia, Romania, Albania, Macedonia, and Bulgaria. Prices here ranged from 25-50 euros depending on the deed negotiated, but they did have to pay for their ticket so I always footed another 5-10 euros to cover that.
