I am going to Ho Chi Minh city and wonder of anyone can recommend hotels and good areas to stay in in this big city?

"You think too much", would probably be the Thai reaction to anyone who feels offended by these packages. Having your junk checked regularly is important in today`s gay hook-up wolrld where PrEP and BB seems to be more the rule than the exception. I know that many visitors does that in the PULSE Clinics in Thailand because they might not have the same opportunity at home.

Is the Ambiance hotel still open? I tried to go to their former website, but was told it has expired and doesnt exist anymore. Does that mean that the hotel has closed? i know they must have had a hard time with the work being done in the soi, but still thought they would manage to keep the hotel open.

Sounds like you had a great day in Hua Hin with your guide. How much did he charge you for the one day experience? And did you have to book him long time before you arrived?

It certainly looks different from the other massage sites I have seen. And according to his calendar, he is fully booked most of the time. Try the gym at Pattaya Avenue shopping mall on Second Road, not far from Central Pattaya festival shopping mall. California Gym was there before its owner took off with a lot of money. Nowadays it is called something like Fitness 7.

One thing is having the health and money to pay for sex with a much younger partner. Another thing is admitting that you do it. If you live in a western society where PC thinking decides which behaviour is acceptable, I doubt many men would stand proud and tell the world that they pay Thai guys in their teens and twenties to have sex with them. And I am aware of the fact that younger men also pay for sex just like we do when we come to Pattaya. And if any of this boards members have the courage to tell their families and collegues back home they pay for the sex they have in Pattaya : Kudos to them! You are some courageous guys!

What Abidismaili tries to say is that nobody on Sawatdee Gay Thailand would actually tell anyone back home that he pays for sex when he visits Thailand. This is partly because of the fact that paying for sex is illegal in some European countries and partly because of the stigma : having sex with a prostitute, be it a boy or a girl, is considered something one is not supposed to do unless one wants to be branded a sad, old man that cannot get it for free anymore. So why would anyone actually admit that paying for it is the only way elderly farangs ( and that is what most of us are ) can enjoy the favours of attractive young thais? Nothing to be ashamed of, but definately not something you would tell your friends and family about.

I knew they would start sneaking back with the fake viagra, fake watches, handbags and tshirts and all the other stuff they used to sell in the different stalls on Silom! So maybe I can find the Looking movie and the third season of Transparent after all when Im back in December? I kind of enjoyed the chaos along Silom Road.

As far as I understand from all the posts here, Bangkok will still be crowded with sidewalk stalls selling all the not-so-necessary things those vendors in Silom used to sell to farangs at more or less inflated prices. I was hoping I could find Transparent season 3 and maybe Looking the movie . There was this lady in Silom who for some reason had all these gay themed movies for sale. New and old, even movies you cant find online.

So what happened to all those stalls where they sold illegal copies of the latest (and older) movies? They used to sell lots of gay themed movies, porn and more mainstream,

Is the Silom Night Market still operating or have the authorities managed to close it already? I always liked walking in Silom and looking at the different stalls, but I read something earlier this year about the authorities wanting to get rid of this part of Silom night life.

After having read your current report, I would think that you probably stay in the Jomtien area during your holidays in Pattaya. I normally prefer the Boystown area myself, but have been thinking about trying Jomtien for my next excapade in Thailand. So I wonder if the condo you have chosen for this trip has a gym or a swimming pool. And how much does one pay per month? Is it possible to stay there for only 2 weeks?

I am probably not the only one using Kamagra when visiting Pattaya and enjoying the boys. And it works well for 4 or 5 hours. So from time to time when I have someone staying over and would like to have sex with the boy in the morning, I find that the effect is not quite what it was when we had sex after I brought him back 8 or 9 hours before. So my question to anyone else taking Kamagra is : Have you ever taken a new dose after only 9 or 10 hours? Would it be dangerous to take the additional Kamagra? As far as I understand, you are supposed to wait for maybe as much as 24 hours, so I have never risked it myself. But I would like to be able to perform adequately in the morning hours.

I have heard many positive things about gay life in these 2 countries. The last time I visited, was back in 2009, and I would like to go back this year. So maybe some of tthe posters on this forum could give me some input about the current situation for gay travelers. Is there any area in Phnom Penh and Vientiane that is known to be gay and where the gay bars are situated? How about the hotel policy? When I was there in 2009, they didnt really approve of visiytors to your room, so I had to sneak them in. Are there gay friendly hotels in Vientiane and Phnom Penh?.And how do the guys connect? Do they use Grindr, Hornet and Gay Romeo or are there boy bars where they go to meet foreigners? Does anyone know the going rate for boys in these 2 countries?
In Thailand II mostly use tthe gay apps to pick up guys.And I must say that I miiss the old days where there was only Gay Romeo. Nowadays we are all on 3 or 4 apps at the same time, and it takes mush longer to get an answer from someone because your attention deals with so many different apps.
It is the same with me, I mght cchat with someone on Hornet and forget about the messages in the other apps until its too late and he might have logged off!
