Last night arround 8.30 at least 8  guys from there on the corner. Good Samaritan looking like KFC man and dressed like myself passed by, grabbed one boy , went with him to 7 /11 a bought 500 baht worth of beer for boys to warm themselves up in these chilly +30 degrees evening.

I scored a very well priced Thai Airways business class ticket that has a 16 hour stopover (land 3pm and leave 7.20am) so I jumped on it as I’ve never been to Bangkok and have been very keen to sample the boy bars there. Plan is to clear immigration and store my luggage at the airport (I checked and there is a service doing this) then head into down, get some dinner then hit the clubs and hopefully off a guy or two!
read about Tawan’s unfortunate closing and that they MAY be reopened by my June 5 arrival. Given they’re the main source of my type (more muscular and very fitness model types, not into twinks) was wondering if anyone could provide names of other venues that would be good to check out on a Wednesday night? Also what time is best to go out there? And one last question, given my layover I won’t be booking a hotel or sleeping, so what are the options in terms of places to take guys for an off?

Visited the shop yesterday and was greeted by Barbie. I told her the guy I was looking to book. She gave me the tablet and although I couldn’t search by number I quickly located his photo. I took a VIP room for 500 for one hour. After a very satisfactory massage, Sky was on the desk downstairs. It appears that both are promoting the shop with separate posts.
I found the premises to be clean and well maintained as always.
One disappointment: their website went down again 48 hours ago. The reason is unclear (based on my Google Translate conversation). They hope to develop a new one. For the moment, the process of booking in advance is less streamlined unless you can view guy’s name and/or number from published photo arrays. I intend to choose from shop tablet when I arrive for the interim.

Halfway through a massage at Relax in Silom 8, the masseur stops everything (I hate when they do that) and starts negotiating (which I really hate) and says it will be 500 baht extra tip for him to come. I couldn't believe this as I could care less if he comes - that is not my goal here - and asked him to repeat his proposal. He repeated it. I laughed and told him if he comes he owes ME the tip!
He didn't come. I did. Don't you love a story with a happy ending?
 

Does anyone have insight into the marketing mess at OneSpa?  I get Line posts from OneSpa by Sky Massage and OneSpa by Barbra. Is one more legit than the other? Is one more reliable for making bookings than the other?

We had two great dinners at EAT ME... gay owned of course and $$$ but not insane depending how you order. Lovely welcoming staff. Reservations a must. Everyone in there was gay I think haha.

Well I’m back.   After making my first trip to Bangkok in November 2022, I am going back in July.  I’ve booked the Raya again.  This will be a relaxing break for me.   I plan to spend afternoons getting massages and hit the shows/bars at night.  I think I can handle the BTS, this time I may try the MRT. 
I want to revisit the Grand Palace, and this time I want to take one of the fast boats on the river.   I may hire a guide from Siam again as that was fun and informative last time.
I’d also like to try some different places for dinner.   Any recommendations?

Just relooking my previous maiden post prior to an earlier trip to bangkok as a newby forum member, and I’ll be there again next week for another  real and massage-fest.  This has been a really informative forum and a great treasure trove of advice. I think the most rewarding of my massage ventures has been Prime, and I went there pretty much every other day, for a marathon combo of 2 hours Thai massage and 2 hours oil massage. Incredibly good and so relaxing, and I was disappointed only once with a lack-lustre massage very late in the evening, in a really cramped room and the massuer was propanly very tired. but all,other occasions had been great.  it will be my principal port of call again for massages when I’m there next week I suspect!  And I was lucky there once…
i also went to Paradise as someone I connected with on Jckd was a 30+ year old massuer there and had been open to a little extra edge kink and been communicating with me on that. It was a clean place, generally well appointed room, decent sized with attached shower. A lot more spacious and less factory-like than Prime if I were to be honest, and I’d rate the overall experience a 7.5/10. Quality of massage is trumped by Prime though..
 
I have had 2 massages now at s’sense, but although they had been in huge anticipation. the experience there had been unexceptional. The first had not been too enjoyable with what I had thought had been a veteran therapist ( who is still there) whom the charismatic Mr S had affirmed I should try, and the second, which was an impromptu visit with a group of guy and gal friends on a subsequent trip after we had dinner at Suan Phlu, by an assigned massuer who was very young. This has taken place on a building a short walk away from the main s’sense shop.   I plan to give s’sense another go, and  try to get the masseurs suggested in this forum, especially suggested by CallmeLee, whose reports I really enjoyed reading.  Knott has left the outfit though as I had lined to ask, but this  it will hopefully be a more enjoyable session.
 
on a visit to MBK, I chanced upon a reasonably posh looking spa called GrandSpa, and booked a 2 hour session. Really disappointing even though the massage room was grand and massive, with private jacuzz and showers. The massuer hasps no idea of positioning of muscles, and the massage was done on the  bone and skeletal structure, which was really uncomfortable. This is the only occasion i asked for the massage to,stop before completion.   So caveat emptor.. grand surroudn8 gs did not make for a good massage at all!  Someone had suggested I try TCS Spa near Chinatown, a relatively new outfit, but there is very little written about it that I could find, though I guess never try never know.
And I sure hope the sizzling weather I ve been reading about in bangkok  cools…

Just came back from a trip to Bangkok. It was mainly for work so I did not get to do much with the gogo/massage scene but thought I'd share what I did manage to do.
There were two main things I at least wanted to do on this trip; checking out the Tawan situation personally and checking out the Sol bar which I've passed by so many times in my previous trip but never walked in. 😅 I am happy to say that I accomplished both.

On Tawan, I've shared my findings here. Hopefully, that answered some questions a few of the members here had.
Sol
I checked out Sol just once on this trip. The entrance fee was THB 450. The layout of the bar was quite nice, spacious stage and floor but there's an annoying pillar at the middle-front of the stage which kind of blocks part of the stage depending on where you sit. The boys were a mixed bunch, but most consisted of str8 looking twinks. There were a few older guys who are lean/muscular and there's one guy who, if I'm not mistaken, was from Tawan quite some time back. The show was the usual mix of the drag, sexy show and big cock show (the movements they used for their "sexy dance" is pretty much the same as with most other bars except Jupiter, which makes me wonder if they are trained by the same coach, or if that's just the Thai version of a sexy dance 😅). There were only 2-3 other customers there aside from me, so the boys were trying hard to secure an off (which can be a bit uncomfortable). Overall, it's not my kind of bar but the twink lovers here might actually enjoy it.
I'll continue with some brief update Jupiter, Moonlight, Hotmale and Dreamboys a little later.

You should know where to go, as it are all small shops from the outside, with no masseurs outside.
Closest to BTS Saphan Kwai are Phetboy Spa and K Man Spa. Both tested and rooms are fine.
A 10-15 minute walk are several massage places, often reffered to as "Inthramara" because sois are named liked that: One Spa, BT Massage,  Phoenix Spa, 27M Massage, ...
You can follow the shops on Twitter/X and contact them on Line.
Accomodation in this area I can recommend is Blu 395. It's a building with serviced condos, not a hotel.
 
On Instagram, you could also look for 483 Massage, as they have some nice twinks, but I never have been there as it is further away.

For Bangkok, the Saphan Kwai area has a few hundreds of masseurs, and is a paradise for twink lovers.
Price is 1.000 bath or a bit more, and you pay also a few hundred bath for the room.

Now that I am here in Bangkok it is going much more smoothly. 
I think the two issues were me messaging off hours because I was in the USA, and trying to book in advance. Now that I'm asking about same day or next day bookings it is going well.
 

Weird, I have nothing but great experiences booking with LINE. I usually message around noon and they get back to me shortly, reservations are quick and seamless. But I don’t ask many questions, simply say “I would like to book <service> with <masseur name> on <day and time>, is this available?”
