  1. Agree...in writing prior trip reports, I was at home and using Word or Google version and saved and edited as I went along. This trip I got in the habit of daily updates directly to the forum using my iPad.
  2. It's about 4am, Sunday, in California as I keyboard this. I am a slow adjuster to jet lag...so my solution is to ignore it and take lots of naps which gradually fade into a full night's sleep. So back to reporting. As noted in a previous post, I had finished my Wednesday and most of Thursday (my last full day in Thailand) report and was editing it as Michael took the site down for maintenance. Thus, in a microsecond, my most witty comments, phased in poetry, and full of meaningful insights disappeared into the ether. Guess, it's back to slogging out some clumsy prose. When Noo left it was close to noon and my friend Ya arrived in a taxi to whisk me off to the Intercontinental Resort for a major lunch at the Infiniti restaurant over looking the sea from an angle that keeps the view away from Pattaya's main beach. The resort is on a series of hills and so we opted for the golf cart to bring us to the restaurant. We ate and talked for more than tour hours and then back by golf cart to Ya's waiting taxi. He hires one as he needs it on an on-call basis for half a day at a time. He then showed me the properties he is managing and I was reintroduced to some of his friends. Bu the time I was back at the hotel, I just had time to stop in at Next Tailors and pick up the shirts I had made. 30 minutes later, showered and changed, I join with two other hotel guests (they are from Germany) and we are seated at an outdoor table for the monthly Poseidon Wine dinner with seven courses and seven separate wines pared to each course. The dinner was limited to 30 but there was no official starting time, so my table (of early arrivers) finished just before 9. I had no evening plans, checked my phone and found a message from Sophy. That was enough to put me on the baht bus. About a mile from Jomtien, four guys join the bus. Convivial, they were asking where the other passengers were from. There were only three of us, a couple from India, and me. When I said, USA, they introduced themselves with their name followed by "terrorist". They were from Iran and were in a good mood. I said that while i was from the USA, I live in California which is part of the USA that didn't vote for Mr. Trump, then they told me I could add terrorist to my name. They were pleased ot know I had been to Tehran and there were lots of sloppy hugs of international friendship. They got off for Walking Street, I went a little further and disembarked and walked a few paces into Toy Boy where Sophy was waiting. He was shirtless but had his pants on rather than briefs. David was on stage, as was Aun - who I was interested in on another night. Aun sat with us. He is Thai. Nothing clicked. If it had, I would have checked with Sophy about a 3 way. We had done one with another Cambodian from @Home in Jomtien last November. No need to check tonight. Sophy and I headed out to the Jomtien and the hotel. It was a good time with a few adaptions and we are past the stage of preliminaries. On the way out of Toy Boys, I gave a red note to David. Sophy left before dawn...actually several hours before dawn. Thursday, is my last full day in Pattaya and Thailand this trip. Mike's Pattaya taxi will pick me up early Friday morning to take me to BKK and then onwards via Thai and United air. Whoops!...can't go to the beach - it's raining. Went to Delicies for a pastry. Still raining. Decide to pack. Rain breaks about 1pm, so I head out to do a daytime visit to the Night Market and pick up two small souvenirs, then I walk to Central World and after a stop at Starbucks, walk around the mall and am bored. Used the restroom...Starbucks works quickly. Walked back along the beach in the direction of Boyztown/Walking Street. In Boyztown have a massage with no HE at Scandia. Actually a fine massage. My original but vaporized posting has the masseur's name. I did not keep my notes...so, sorry. I then caught the baht bus back to Jomtien as the rain returned. I packed, mostly eveything I brought is now laundry. While not Vinapu as his micro packing, I can easily get everything on the plane as carryon - I won't as I my luggage is comped by my airline status and leaves me plenty of room on the plane. I wasn't sure what to do on my last night, had a drink with the owner of Poseidon and talked about the ebb and flow of the tourists seasons. I texted Sophy and David...they came out and we had dinner at Sandbar restaurant on the beach. David has more English than Sophy but with my Khmer Google Translate we managed. We went back to the hotel...but that, folks, was it...no last night in town wild escapades, just a nice time with two very nice guys who had given me great pleasure. We parted ways with promises to keep in touch. (so far a daily Line GIF). I went to bed, got up and got on my way. And, that's my report. PS - I think I may have one more installment in me...more about things I learned or observed that didn't fit into the narrative.
  3. I agree...I think there is more life and excitement in the clubs now than in the last year of Twilight...the overhanging sense of doom has dissipated.
  4. Zing is probably a good place to retreat to..book a room for two. Another suggestion would be to ask the bar owners, they may even have a room.
  5. The boys, when not on their phones, want very much to be off'd by clients. The bar has an off fee for customers to pay when they off one of the boys.
  6. It's early Sunday in Thailand...me, well, I just arrived back home after too many hours of being on planes and sitting in airports. I checked into the forum and find that my last report never made it - the forum went down for maintenance or something Thursday just as I was doing an edit. I will have to compose and post...right now, I need some sleep. The final leg of my return, Hong Kong to San Francisco was 14 hours on a full to the airline bank account 777-300ER.
  7. I was at Scandia this afternoon.  I came across this place walking to the dream boys soi.  Thought you might be interested as an investigator.

  8. Hot Male says f show every night. Freshboys definitely.
  9. When I was at Moonlight to off Sky, as mentioned in my trip report, I asked about this. It is possible but my take more than one visit. One to book and one to pick up. As i didn’t ask, I don’t know if Mr. Babe has a veto.
  10. Yes, he was the first and probably only long time this trip.
  11. It’s Wednesday and almost lunch time. Ya, known to many on the Forum, as one of the early and incredibly helpful and popular Siam Roads guides, has retired from guiding and is managing properties for farangs and expats in Pattaya. We’ve agreed to meet up for lunch today. That gives me a chance to catch up on my reporting before he arrives. Before I begin, let me recommend Nathan_B’s post about Pattaya. He captures the mood much better than I ever could and since we share most of the same opinions about the venues, it does away with the need to describe the clubs and staff. Sunnee is almost hopeless, but not completely as there is the chance that.someone from the past will reappear. It’s important to underline and shout out that it is slow season...even in Jomtien which has its new Jomtien Walking Street signage, a majority of the tables and chairs are empty. My days have been somewhat routine. Go the beach in the morning, red and blue umbrella section just past the old restroom/new storage facility. Once there I settle in and then have a massage on the sand. The section hosts shade my pale body with umbrellas. Last year, on both visits to Pattaya, Noo was my masseur of choice. On Sunday, I couldn’t find him and didn’t see him walk by, so I went with Thim. OK massage, so I repeated with him on Monday. Of course, Noo now appears. I tell him what happens, book him for Wednesday back at the hotel as the beach umbrella sections are closed on Wednesday. On Tuesday, Thim is a no - show for our agreed time, so I Line Noo, he arrives, massage begins and Thim shows up. At this point I remember how good Noo is with massage and say “sorry” to Thim. Noo, by the way, could easily work at Tawan given his physique. After, my morning massage, I relax, have some fruit drink - usually watermelon, and watch the passimg scene...most of the folks sheltering within the blue and red zone recognize one another after a couple of days, folks have the same chairs, some have new boyfriends some return with their regular companion. There is a Russian family that comes down to the beach every morning, five of them, leaving their bags at the foot of a palm tree and go in the water for a half hour and them pick up there stuff and head back to wherever. I then head back to the hotel, shower, maybe take a nap. Catch up on internet - it’s all sort of boring, and - for. Me - that’s a good thing. I go for a walk around 3, stop at some of the Jomtien Complex bars as they are setting up and the boys are arriving to work. I learn but am not surprised how hard it is to find customers in the slow season who will take the guys off or even tip them when they sit with them and go through the routine “where you from/stay/for how long? While Fah massage has closed, two newer massage places have opened, one next to Fah, the other a few paces on the left - next to the show that sells condos and swimwear, - as one leaves the Venue. I didn’t try either. Tuesday, I had a great massage from one of the bar boys at CJ...he contacted me on Romeo, I recognized from the photo that he was working nearby, so went over and chatted, told him I didn’t want to off him, he suggested massage, I agreed and we arranged it Tuesday, which was yesterday. So Tuesday was a beach massage and in the room massage double. For meals, I’ve has some street food, been to Super Issan, had breakfast pastries from Delice (next to Fah’s old location), Poseidon, and Yupin. The last two provide food in the grand old style, generously portioned and heavily sauced. I’m not sure if that is a recommendation in this day of healthy eating, but it was good tasting. Patrick, the gray eminence of Yupins is a charmer. Tonight, is the monthly 6 course wine matching dinner at Poseidon andI’ve booked a space. That boring part of this report is now out of the way, so to discuss my evening activities, I spent a good portion of Monday night in Boyztown. I visited Dreamboys, X Boys, Cupidol, looked in at BBB, and, again note that Nathan_B has a report that I can only echo. I do note that Cupidol’s mamasan continues to drive me crazy. Observation, customer mix is more farang than Asian. Definite change from Bangkok. Monday, after my wandering, I ended up at Toy. Boys. I was looking for the glasses wearing Cambodian boy, I saw the night before while waiting for Sophy. Manager said the boy was off on a short time, if I cared to wait. I responded, with a maybe tomorrow comment. Sophy had been onstage but the opposite side from where I was seated, when the rotation brought him into view, I called him over. Rather than go to Jomtien, we adjourned to Toy Boys private room and enjoyed ourselves/each other. Until that night, I didn’t know there was a private room available. Live and Learn! Tuesday night, I went in earlier to Boyztown as suggested by the Toy Boy manager. I was so early (8:40pm) the boys weren’t even on stage. Manager quickly remedied that. Other customers followed me in. The object of my interest arrived about ten minutes later. Manager tells me he is a “newbie” ;from Cambodia. As soon as he’s clocked in, Manager brings him over. He is short and thin, and feline in his moves. Just sitting down, he works his body into mine and puts his head on my shoulder. We agree on the off and head to Jomtien. His name is David, some English. Hold hands on the way to baht bus, and entwines with me on the ride. He’’s 23 but looks younger - I did a passport check. David tells me this is his third day working at Toy Boys, he came from Cambodia five weeks ago and worked in a Jomtien restaurant the first month, some of his friends had “lot of money” and he decided to work where they did. Once in the room he undresses me as if it was part of a staged event, button by button with a kiss each step. The top of his head comes up to my chin. He tells me I am large, probably because he’s now taken off his glasses. When he is naked, I tell him he is large and HE IS. Up to this point on this trip I though Shy from Moonlight was tops in this area...David wins. Another thing, for someone in the work for 3 days, he must have had a great trainer as he has no inhibitions nor any limits that we could find. Since he is a fraction of my age, he had a level of energy that is amassing. Once we have reached a point of exhaustion, he asks if he might stay the night. I agree. And, after a rest, we go back to our activities. This will happen one more time in the morning before he leaves at 6:30. He was with me for more than 8 hours. Three hours after David departed, Noo was in the room for my morning massage.... OK... I’ve caught up. Only two days left...
  12. Observation Vinapu has preached about the convenience of going out with lots of pockets, so that red notes can be easily reached but kept separate from other denominations. I am a complete failure at this. I’ve had to train myself to check pockets of clothes I’m packing or sending out for laundry as I almost always find crumpled baht notes wedged into a pocket.
  13. My focus - if it can be called that - was to check out what was happening in Sunnee and Boyztown. There will be some Jomtien relaxation reporting in a report that I have to write and post. Thanks for asking.
  14. This is a truly great report. I say that somewhat jealously as I’m drafting another installment of my trip report devoted to many of the same places.
  15. Just changed my google translate default to English / Khmer. Should have done it last week.
  16. Numazu - with only 4 days to spend in Thailand, I would suspect you are not looking for a long term relationship... I don’t know what to recommend. I’m now in the midst of day 2 of the Pattaya leg of this trip. All sorts of guys from other visits are finding me and making it a great time. Yet, Bangkok was incredible for gracing me with exceptional offs. I think having a chance to hang a bit with anddy would weigh in favor of Bangkok.
  17. Travellerdave The sign is just before The Poseidon on the road that leads past the bars, restaurants, and turns left by the Venue. At night, this sign is a show stopper. Sophy and I were baht bus passengers to Jomtien. In the past (once) I offered to take a taxi - declined. The boys think, I suppose, that it’s a wast of baht that cold go to them. Two years back I offed a boy who paid for the baht bus. That has not been repeated. I’ve never used the pool at The Poseidon, it was under repair the last two visits. It’s up and running now...I might use it later this week. The beach is closed on Wednesday - at least to the umbrella stand folks.
  18. Welcome to “Supertown” - Jomtien’s walking street! I arrived in the daylight and actually didn’t see the sign until the evening when I was returning from Boyztown, but the local chamber of commerce is gunning for business. I left the Tarntawan around 10 am in a car provided by Mike’s of Pattaya. In maybe a dozen trips, his drivers have never been late, cars alwaysclean. Cost 1200, including tolls. I know there are many less expensive ways to go back and forth...this works for me. Returning guest greeting at Poseidon, super large room and gigantic bathroom with rain shower and jacuzzi for 5 or more. I unpack enjoy my arrival snack of salmon and a juice. Have a text from Max, known from my last visit, we agree to meet up at 3. I head to the beach, usual sport (blue and red umbrellas, right after what had been a being constructed rest room, but is now a beach facility of some sort. After relaxing with some music and enjoying the breeze, I have massage on the sand. Nothing extraordinary but helps to set the relaxing tone I want. Agree to a daily morning wakes p massage for the next few day. At 300 THB, it’s an easy decision. I get back tot he hotel and Max is waiting, we explore the advantages of a rain shower...given the care he takes of his hair (true for many, many boys) he does not favor the rain shower. We while away a few hours until he has to go to work at a small resort. I shower one more time - the room comes with maybe a dozen towels! Then a light dinner in the restaurant. I look at Romeo and see that there are any number of active users within a quarter mile...then again, there are a dozen or more bars within that range. One of the guys is the manager of one of the bars. This will be a note that returns. Around 9, I head into Pattaya proper...I get out at the McDonalds and head to Sunnee. Nice Boys, Power Boys, one or two customers (including me). On stage behavior is according to policy, must admit, I’mimpressed (in a negative way) how two of the Nice Boys boys can use their phones and work their clocks at the same time. I walk around Sunnee for a while, sort of very empty. Head over to Boyztown, think I’ll probably head to Dream Boys when it’s closer to show time. Kawaii Boys is closed, though I think that’s been reported. Anoterhclub which was on a corner is completely gone, but I can’t remember the name. I stop in Toy Boys, maybe a dozen good looking guys on stage. Mostly Cambodian - a theme of this trip to Thailand. Mamasan remembers me - another trip theme. I tell him I don’t see Sophy, who I offed on each of my two last visits. I’m focused on two well proportioned guys, one tall and lanky, the other average height (for a Cambodian) who wears glasses. Mamasan asks if he I’d like him to call Sophy who i just back from a visit home. I say yes. Sophy is not only physically stunning but we hit if off in the quiet times as well as the more active moments. While waiting, I call over the tall lanky boy and we get to know one another. I arrange to meet him later this week and then negotiate the same arrangement with the guy with glasses. Mamasan tells me he;’s a newbie. Sophy arrives, he’s lost 2 kilos and is even more physically stunning. We head out to the hotel. This is when I see the electric sign for the first time. In the room, he says no to the rain shower...hair. We used the hand held. He knows where I keep my supply of condoms and lube and goes to it after drying off. He puts them to good use. Some afterward pillow talk, some spooning, he takes another shower after cleaning me up. He departs, he’s one I’d like to see as long as he’s still working and I’m still visiting. My watch tells me I had a message from a Romeo...it’s the guy who manages one of the bars. I stop, we both smile. I buy him a drink. He’llcome By on Tuesday for an afternoon massage before he goes to work. My week is getting booked up!!! Now it’s beach time.
  19. It’s Monday morning in Pattaya, some thundershowers over night, very humid. But to continue where I left off on Saturday night in Bangkok. Not being able to make up my mind, I went to soi 4 to check out Banana Bar. On my way there I went via Patpong 1 and discovered that one of the new bars there is “Sweet Banana” not “Banana”. Guess to avid confusion? Last sentence should be read as ironic. On soi 4, Banana is both a soi level bar and one short flight of steps up is a gogo. It’s a relatively small room, larger than Paradiso, but still small compared to Lucky Boys, Jupiter, Moonlight, Hot Male. The stage is only a step or two from the top of the stairs. I ordered a Campari as it was on the drinks menu and I hadn’t seen it before this trip. There are six boys in rotation and abut 20 more sitting to the left of the stage. Mamasan quickly joins me, no, I’m not interested. And, I’m not...almost all of the boys look to be way too young for me and maybe for the law. One joins me, a Viet who is a friend of my friend Van, mentioned in most of my prior reports but in Vietnam now. He tells me most of the boys are from Cambodia. As we chat, the mamasan asks if I want to take my acquaintance off. No, thank you. At this point, the rotation has changed and two of the boys are using their phones while in rotation. That’s it for me...now, back to Hot Male for the first time since my arrival night. It’s just about show time and I’ll see if the Burmese guy I spotted and was recommended is working. He is working, he is one of the coyote’s. I tell the Mamasan of my interest and he goes off, but is distracted by other customers. So, I call the coyote over, his name is Hack and he’s Cambodian not Burmese. (anddy, does this sound familiar?). I settle up, no extra charge for coyote off. For the first time this visit, audience is more Euro-American farang than Chinese. Now, it wasn’t a large audience, maybe 15 customers but the proportion of farang to Asian was to be noted. Back at the hotel, I can see in more detail his well honed body. He is not a novice, he’s knows the hotel, the ID drill, etc. When we talk after showering together, his English is good and he tells me the trips he’s been taken on...Hong Kong, Jakarta, Bali, Phuket. He is not a novice in bed, I let him take over. He departs shortly after midnight telling me he’s going home rather than back to Hot Male. I go to bed...
  20. Personal learning note: refrain from carbonated beverages just before starting a massage. There are consequences.
  21. Sorry for breaking up this message, but I wanted to make sure it didn't get directed to the public part of the forum. Here is a photo of Sly #5.  He tends not to smile when on stage but lights up once he’s off stage.

I’ll explore Pattaya over the next couple of days, but when I was here in November it was pretty much the same, waiting on a new club to open, BBB was more an Asian tourist destination with the nightly parade cancelled.  Sunnee is struggling, but the bars that are thriving are busier in the earlier hours when the older farang can still stay awake.

In Bangkok, some of the relocated bars have their act together.  Moonlight and Lucky Boys are thriving, Moonlight is always packed with customers (dropped in 3 times).  Fresh Boys has some strengths, Hot Male needs a re-think. (Though one of the coyote boys #07 from Issan was able to delight me last night).

Banana Bar on Soi 4 seems to be mainly twinks and  younger. Excitement level is low as one of the rotation boys was on his phone the entire time he was on stage.

Nice to have you back...I followed some of your adventures in Brazil but became too jealous to continue (LOL).

Anndy and I went out the other night and checked out Patpong 2.  The next night, separately, we went back and each of us offed a Cambodian boy from Lucky Boys.  He is remarkably well informed on what’s happening.

  22. I just left Bangkok this morning after a week of exploring, which I’m in the midst of reporting on.  Definitely want to suggest Bangkok (I may change my mind after this coming week in Pattaya).

Having met you once when you were with Burboy (I think), I’d recommend a visit to Moonlight...#5 in the rotation would be someone who might hit some of the right notes.

  23. Add-on. I meant to include something about the apps...most of those contacting me were not money boys but were looking for men 18 to 99... One was very insistent. When I clicked how many were active on line and their locations, I was gobsmacked to see that dozens were within a 500 to 1000 foot range. Then, my brain clicked, there are at least 8 massage places within that radius!
