  1. My impression is, while number of boys has significantly gone up since nov/dec, number of customers did not. That's not surprising but a bit sad. HM from closed in nov/dec to about 8 boys + show in feb, 3 off candidates but took only one and will off him again + ultra long time almost for sure next time when in BKK.

I didn't have Mor Chana installed simply because it didnt work. Therefore I also couldn't upload any test results on this app. Noone in Thailand ever checked if I have that app installed or not. I took some screenshots to prove it doesn't work just in case though. Was anyone so far able to register his Thai Pass in Mor Chana on an Android phone? Did anyone except me even try?

What makes you think Phuket is less trustworthy regarding PCR test results than the other provinces?
  4. The Player I also enjoyed this one! Not a BL series, but still pretty gay and many actors we know from BL series. Does this wisdom sound familiar? With all those cute delivery guys in Thailand I would like to know the answer too... Good question ...
  5. I absolutely love this series. One of the best stuff they produced so far! I wasn't sure if we should call it a BL series or not, but as it turns out it is clearly a BL and it even follows the rule that a BL couple never comes alone. All this embedded in a very modern action series background. As usual, the pre-ultimate episode is highly dramatic, but here it is more about life/death or prison/free, not just couple or not. Can't wait for the last episode. Full of social criticism. In the BL universe I would give them 6 out of 5 stars, but how did they manage to get an IMDB-rating of 9.9?
  6. Apparently a hotel will open in the Mahanakhon Tower. https://www.hospitalitynet.org/announcement/41007610.html The "renovations" have to do with the hotel, told me the cashier.
  7. I am pretty sure you will enjoy! If the country of your insurance has a travel warning against Thailand, insurances like to not pay a single Baht, so better read the smallprint of your insurance policy. And don't forget the waterproof facemask for songkran
  8. Your english must be good!
  9. Mandatory waterproof face masks are the solution!
  10. i mean windows yes, but cant be opened. I also prefer to breath some fresh air from the outside, with those air cons you never know where the air is coming from.
  11. Some hotels use hospital drive through, you arrive at the airport, driver drives you to hospital, winds down the window, the nurse sticks the stick through the window into your nose, you don't even need to get out of the car. Saves a lot of time. 56 Surawong Hotel uses this method with Piyavate Hospital, result came within 6 hours. No food choice, no windows that can be opened, but ok for 6 hours. (I heard).
  12. Shockingly, I have seen them all! One day I want to rewatch "Dark Blue Kiss", if there is time. Currently watching: "Not Me", great so far! "The Player", this is not a BL, but a real Thai Drama full of intrigues around sex and sexual orientation. I love it! With many actors we know from the BL series. "Something in my room": This is the only real BL series I am currently watching. The ghost is cute!
  13. Finding out the current rules is not always easy. One would need to be able to read the laws in original language. As for the close contact in planes, tatnews-FAQs have an answer. https://www.tatnews.org/entry-thailand-frequently-asked-questions/ They say this information comes from the public health ministry as of Jan 19, 2022. High-Risk Contact (HRC) Definitions of close contact of probable/confirmed case of COVID-19. Close contact is defined as a person who has had interactions with a confirmed or probable case of COVID-19 both on the illness onset or 1-2 days prior. However, for asymptomatic patients; a day of receiving positive test result is counted, and they have to reach these criteria as follow: • Close contact or a person having conversation with the patient within 2-metre distance for more than 5 minutes; or being coughed or sneezed on by a patient. • Those who are in an enclosed space without proper ventilation, e.g. in the same air-conditioned bus or room as the patient, for more than 30 minutes. Close Contact Person or probable/confirmed cases can be divided into two groups: 1: High-risk contact is defined as a close contact as mentioned above and did not wear personal protective equipment (PPE). 2: Low-risk contact is defined as a close contact who is less likely to contract or transmit the virus with the patient. This includes close contacts who have not met the definition for high-risk close contact. They are suggested to undergo self-monitoring and follow universal prevention. If experience respiratory symptoms, must undergo ATK . *In the event of asymptomatic infection, the date the patient has tested positive for the virus should be considered the date of illness onset. Definitions of travel-related High-Risk Contact (HRC) person. 1: Domestic transportation • Passengers on board the same vehicle/flight who is being coughed or sneezed on by a probable/confirmed case. • Passengers who travel in the same group. • Passenger on the same plane, who is close proximity to and sitting next to the case (left and right seats), or being close contact within 1 metre-without a mask more than 5 minutes. • In case of large vehicles such as train, doubledecker bus, and ferry, only passengers in the same car or deck and do not wearing a face mask for more than 5 minutes. • All drivers and attendants in the same section who do not wear face mask for more than 5 minutes. In case of flight attendants, just only who is on duty at the same section. 2: International transportation • Passengers on board the same flight who sit next to probable/confirmed case (left and right) or one who is being close contact within 1 metre-without a mask more than 5 minutes. • Flight attendants in the same section who do not wear face mask for more than 5 minutes. Guidelines and measures for High-Risk Contact (HRC) person • Undergo home quarantine for 7 days and self-monitoring for 3 days. In addition, ATK will be done 2 times; Day 5-6 and Day 10. • Take temperature check for 10 days after the day of last contact with the confirmed case. • Protect themselves and people around them by separating themselves from others, frequently washing hands and wearing face mask. • After completion of 7 days home quarantine, they are asked to follow strictly the Universal prevention and avoid going to crowded places or communities for 3 days. • If HRC experience respiratory symptoms, must undergo ATK immediately, if having positive result, must redo on a couple of days and contact official. 14. Philippines currently has the problem that there are not reasonable flights, at least from Europe. Cambodia allegedly has still the policy that if one person on a flight is tested positive, all passengers have to quarantine - at least they said that in a youtube channel that is regularly reporting about Cambodia - too risky for my taste now with Omicron. I hope its not true - does anyone have facts?
  15. Currently you can't immediately transfer from BKK to Chaing Mai: I saw 1 or 2 Hotels near the Airport on Agoda, who offer a Test&Go for Day 1.

I didn't mean the "fit to fly certificate", I was referring to the wording "Medical Certificate with a laboratory result indicating that COVID-19 is not detected, using RT-PCR method" which often was used but now seems to be more and more replaced by "negative RT-PCR test result".

Question to those who came to Thailand in the last months via Test&Go about the pre-departure covid test: Did you just have a laboratory result or did you have a separate medical certificate? That "medical certificate" cost me extra 30$ and I want to avoid that cost next time if not really necessary.
  18. 331 Baht BKK versus 336 Baht Phuket, I guess that explains why taxi fares in Phuket are double as high as in BKK
  19. ส่วนแบ่งดื่ม = "drink share" (not hair share) = ??? share for each boy drink 150? พนักงานต้อนรับชาย = "male welcome staff" = receptionist, ??? could also mean host boy? ค่ารถ = "car fare" = travelling expense, ??? 200/day for coming to the bar?
  20. According to the Thaiger, "The CCSA also announced that the compulsory insurance policies will need to cover ALL contingencies if you happen to test positive, including your additional accommodation costs". I assume that currently no such insurance policy exists yet? I hate insurance companies. I have an annual travel health insurance that covered all I needed for my last visit to Thailand, but it was impossible to get a confirmation that clearly states the coverage in a way the CCSA asked for. Not having the time to experiment with Thailand Pass rejections I decided to buy the Thai one recommended by the embassy.
  21. this is the "boybox model" (7d) or "boy & go" (1d)
  22. If I didnt mishear it, the CCSA said in the "Thailand daily Covid update on January 19 2022" that tomorrow (thursday 20) there will be made decision about easing restrictions as well as resuming Test&Go. So soon we should know more.
  23. All I know he is standing on the wrong balcony! And if it is all about center of gravity, Isaan guys are pretty save on any balcony. Please excuse the inappropriate humour in this thread.
  24. Real covid figures must be pretty high now in Thailand - just judging from the fact that Gmmtv is posting almost every day on Instagram that one of their actors got tested positive. So hopefully this will be over soon.
