This is completely untrue. There is a huge, thriving gay scene in Bangkok that has nothing to do with commercial sex or go go bars. Paid sex is a very small fraction of the landscape. The commercial sex scene is marketed and made accessible to English speaking tourists, which is why the discussion here tends to be heavily centered around boys and bars. But don’t discount the local gay scene, clubs and parties, the Songkran festivities, White Party, and the privately hosted gay events and parties just because our members rarely go to these. There is so much more to gay Bangkok than discussed here. But yes I agree we all wish we were there, for bars or other venues.

Here is Poppy singing with the female singer (Aom?) from Moonlight in The Voice Thailand. TBH I’m not a fan of hers, she doesn’t sing particularly well and isn’t professional like Poppy. When she sings at Moonlight she behaves as though she’s a superstar, going badly off key, forgetting her lyrics because she obviously didn’t bother to rehearse or just stopping in the middle to chat. A little more information. They have VIP sofas for 9000 baht upwards. 9000 baht gets you 4 bottles of Red Label. They also have memberships which gives you 10% discount on your bill. Sophisticated bill payment such as a contactless credit card scanner so you can continue to spend a lot of cash during a pandemic. Mr Tee, a Moonlight model in the early days is now working there. There is another similar club called Hub Club which is much more interesting to me as it looks like the guys go shirtless.
