  1. I can see both sides to this argument I suppose. Moonlight never gets as packed as Jupiter but they will hold a seat for me if I let them know I am dropping in. My friend was able to get the seat of his preference during the packed Moonlight anniversary thanks to the reservation policy. And in both venues, walk ins are never left unhelped and unseated - seats will be provided for every customer until it’s literally standing room alone. I think the gripe should be that Jupiter pretty much blocks off all the best seats / full front rows for regulars so it’s irksome that if you walk in on a busy night, you will never be offered a good seat by chance. You are allowed to move (subject to mamasan’s favor!) if better located seats become available. Or if you are offing, they also accommodate a request for a seat change (so boy can be with you for example). A tip to lubricate the seat change doesn’t hurt though I know many of you will object to this on principle - as far as I’m concerned, it’s annoying but their turf, their rules. Moonlight, though not on the same level of popularity, gets it right by spreading the reserved seats throughout the bar, making the upstairs floor available or designating the standalone tables (in front of service bar) the VIP tables. Personally I hate these, the vantage point is poor and the air conditining is blasting full force. The only “pro” is that the well placed pillar provides some privacy screening from the rest of the bar. Considering I like to people watch and see which boy is being offed, this isn’t a bonus for me. Walk ins usually get offered good seats in any of the front facing rows. Also to add, I was offered seat reservation at Moonlight even before I became a regular and opened bottles. If you come early asking for a seat blocked for showtime or the following day , they will accommodate - of course helper mamasan will expect a tip. But for those who assume only high spenders get seating preference, not the case at all. I also recently discovered that Moonlight waives cover if you’re opening a bottle. Not sure if Jupiter does the same?
  2. Nearly all of them are sex workers, call a spade a spade. Yes I know boys who lie to their girlfriends about the job. Funny that the girlfriends (who are all on social media) haven’t figured it out by now.
  3. He means this one. Very strong indeed. How much was the tip?
  4. Friend just passed by Paradiso. Same report as others have said. Around 5 boys on a small stage and place was completely empty. Former Moonlight ladyboy was acting as a grabber trying frantically to get customers to enter. She wai’ed my friend and invited him in but after seeing the sad interior, he excused himself by saying he was hungry and on his way to Foodland.
  5. Couldn’t decide if I should laugh or cry.. I don’t recall the ass ribbon from old Dreamboys, though I try to look anywhere but the stage during ladyboy acts.
  6. Less than a week after the Central World fire, an even more devastating blaze on the other side of the world. Truly heartbreaking. Thousands of Parisians have watched in horror from behind police cordons as a ferocious blaze devastated the landmark Notre Dame Cathedral, destroying its spire and spreading to the historic bell towers. Firefighters battled to contain the fire, which began at 5.50pm local time (16.50 GMT) on Monday, with police saying it began accidentally and may be linked to building work at the cathedral. The 850-year-old gothic masterpiece had been undergoing restoration work to help it better withstand the tests of time. “Everything is burning,” André Finot, a spokesman for the cathedral, told French media. “Nothing will remain from the frame.” Notre Dame fire: Paris cathedral devastated by ferocious blaze
  7. The problem is there will always be a failing bar or two (or four) and these will continue to take in the unattractive guys who accept cut-price offs. And these cut price offs will still pay better than say, being a gas station attendant in Isaan. Ditto the bar on a slow decline makes more financial sense than winding it up altogether.
  8. If he is investing heavily in Moonlight, it makes sense to let go of Hot Male. Nice to hear German owner is still around.
  9. Jupiter is always rather stingy about posting pics of their boys. Now the mamasans....constantly photographed
  10. I don’t even know how to get that font size, is this due to a copy and paste? Anyway interesting to have a female customer’s perspective...sounds like this affair did not end well? I can’t tell. Although I do know other female customers of Tam, they pay him extravagant tips and I always assumed it was for great service.
  11. I do too haha. I’ve never subscribed to the “daily new $3 T shirt from Patpong” philosophy. I assume this means an in-room laundry service rather than coin laundry because you can’t DIY dry cleaning.
  12. Not really. I usually stay in 4-5 star hotels and to my chagrin, my two regular boys have zero interest in the posh facilities. They use the shower fast and functionally, have never asked to try out the gym or free jacuzzi/sauna in the spa. They enjoy the buffet breakfasts but only for the mountains of free rice, and equally enjoy Took Lae Dee. It really depends on the joiner’s personality.
  13. This discussion pops up now and again...are bars still relevant? I go to bars for entertainment, a few sdrinks with friends or boys I know. I rarely off from bars because at the end of the night, I want to have some street food and go to bed. If I want company, I set this up early in the day through apps, or my regular boys who are just a Line away. Bars which don’t provide credible entertainment (show boys, not lady boys) and no eye candy are written off.
  14. Hello Riz welcome to the forum. Well I have female friends/friends of friends who join us at Moonlight, Jupiter and other bars and I enjoy their company. Some of them come for fun and others hdave offed gogo boys and keep them as regular escorts. It is funny I was just discussing Tam with another member here and something a mamasan told us about him in confidence. When I am at the bar with my friend he always comes over and has a drink with us. We like him because he is charming and mature but it is obvious he is a seasoned gogo boy who wants to be taken by our female friends especially those who tip well. He has mentioned his other female customers who take him on holidays, since he was out of the bar for a long stretch and we asked him where he went. I believe he has already had 2 or 3 trips this year.
  15. I use the knob for other things....oh wait....
  16. In fact a boy recommended this hotel to me, though I haven’t tried it yet. Definitely worth looking into. In the same conversation he gave Montien a bad review.
  17. I don’t think his name is Sin? Or do I have the wrong boy
  18. Photos of Mr Banana on 4 2018, before Moonlight officially opened. I spy some familiar faces
  19. That does not sound good...only 5 boys right at the start of Songkran? I wonder where the other boys have moved to, haven’t heard of Jupiter or Moonlight getting a boost in numbers so far
  20. I hope not! He looks so much better ripped like this
  21. Which one is Sin? The one in the front?
  22. Where? Those ads are 1% faceless blurry boys and 99% ladyboys dressed up as clowns. This “Inferno” rather than “Paradiso”
  23. You are in luck, the fat singer only comes on after midnight when the shows are done. And I’m sorry to say, she’s not a good singer at all....only a hefty pair of lungs for maximum volume. Not sure why she’s considered an excellent singer and even competed on The Voice Thailand. Makes me wonder if everyone in Moonlight is tone deaf.
  24. Good memory Drim, yes they do. I forgot about this.
