KYTOP got a reaction from TotallyOz in Where Were You When Kennedy Died?
I was in the Second Grade and my parents had taken me out of school early for a Doctor's Appointment. We were sitting in the waiting room when the receptionist started crying and leaned out the sign-in window, announcing to all in the office that the President had been shot. By the time we got to the car we heard on the radio that he was dead. We spent almost the whole weekend at my father's aunt's house (they had a color TV) watching everything on TV. I also remember being in front of the TV that weekend when Oswald was marched out in front of the TV camera's at the police station and then shot before our very eyes. The whole thing was such a shocking experience for a kid and I think everyone at that time. My family were Republicans and made it known they didn't vote for Kennedy but they respected anyone that was President and grieved with everyone else.

    1) I am thankful that I got fired last week. I couldn't bring myself to leave because the pay was so ridiculous, but I _hated_ it and it was giving me health problems.
    2) I am thankful for my totally awesome wife/best friend who makes my sun shine.
    3) I am thankful that I put up with that boring evil job long enough that I have enough money that I can now go do what I want and not have to freak out about if I'll have enough for retirement.
It's been an eventful last couple of weeks.

For years, once common thing has been that everyone knew where they were and what they were doing the moment they heard that the president had been assassinated. Now as the population ages, plenty of folk see his death as ancient history.
But I am one of those who remember distinctly where I was- in class in school. An announcement came over the PA, where a breathless priest announced that news had come over the wireless that the president was dead. He actually used the word wireless to describe the radio. We all headed to church.
The entire weekend was devoted to watching the television. Every minute we could get of news was not enough. Then Jack Ruby killed Lee Harvey Oswald as the nation watched in horror. Could things get any worse? What were the Soviets planning?
In my opinion, Jacqueline Kennedy kept the nation whole that weekend. Her grace under pressure and subdued grief was something we all admired. Time passed, and Johnson became entrenched in the office.
That it was 50 years ago seems stunning. Kennedy would now be 96 if he had lived.

Hi, it's me again. I had a very nice Sunday at Club de Tobi. In the steam bath a young man (22 y.o. I guess), wiith a difined body and nice dick, wanted me to service him... He had this kind of attitude: hi, I'm young and pretty and people should adore me. Who was I to argue? Anyway, I did not stand a lot, since I had previously my session with beautiful Andrián (massage and tongue-bath)... I did my best and he got very excited, cumming copiously.... This time he got a higher typ (100K COP -- 50 USD, I guess).
Monday was vacation here. After a nice trip to Santa Fe, nice colonial town at the Cauca river and 1 hour from Medellín, I met Rafael, a nice and strong guy of mixed race who contacted me last year at Manhunt. He is now more defined, a short guy with nice build, a little bit hairy. A freebie.
Today I sent a message to a local guy via FB. He has the best body ever seen... and lots of pics. I hit the lottery and win: he was ready to meet me, but asked for some gift. The guy (22 y.o.) is a wonderful puppy. A remarkable contrast between his miuscle god image and the real self: a young professional, very very well articulated, quite handsome and modest. Great kisser & sucker, loved rimming, hot in bed....

Being in my mid-50's now and having the blessing of being able to travel broadly from my late 30's until my early 50's, it may seem strange but I had never attended a Gay Pride Celebration. I even had a BF in Chicago during this time and never got to Chicago Gay Pride which has one of the largest Gay Pride parades in the world when we were together.
Well that has finally changed this year. I was able to attend Chicago Gay Pride in June and attend the parade that had always been on my to do list. I must admit I did feel much pride as I noted the politicans, Local TV coverage and local celebraties in the parade. The major corporations (even Walmart) as sponsors or having floats in the parade. My pride came from realizing how far we as Gay people have progressed from the time of my youth until today. I also found that pride lost upon my younger 20 something companions who could not seem to appreciate anything beyond the Party aspect of our trip. I found myself, as one who has always loved history anyway, lecturing them with stories of Gay History such as NYC's Stonewall Riots, and how 30 years ago it was common to be arrested for just entering a Gay Bar in our own city. Sure they still see some Gay bias and discrimination but their starting point in their view is so far down the scale of the past.
Atlanta has changed their Gay Pride Celebration to the fall, this coming weekend, and again my 20 something companions will travel with me to my second Pride event. One has even been asked to march in Sunday's Parade. So as I again feel a great sense of pride at attending the South's Gay Celebration, an area were Gay Sex was still illegal just a decade or so ago, my friends will have to put up with my lectures again. This as I put up with their all night parting,hang-overs and stories of the hot guys they chased all weekend and maybe the couple of guys they actually caught. LOL.

With the nick name Lucky , I can't understand how you have ever had trouble bringing boys back to Big Hotels in Thailand. Maybe we should change your name to Unlucky? LOL
I have brought boys back to every Marriott, Sheraton and Hilton in Bangkok. as well as many other large Hotels.
I have never been bothered by anyone except for an occasional request for an ID to be left at Reception.
Never been asked for a Joiners fee and if I was I would laugh at them. I always reserve a room for 2 people and who I bring in is my own business.
I will say I have heard that the new Hilton in Pattaya has been a pain in the ass about guests but I have no personal experience.

I must agree with your comments on the Pattaya Marriott. I am a Lifetime Marriott Platinum Elite and stayed at this hotel for every trip I made to Pattaya. This hotel always treated me like a king. I went into their membership lounge each morning for a light breakfast while reading an English paper and watching CNN headlines. Was always greeted by name as I passed the reception desk and in the lounge. One trip I was there on my birthday. While eating breakfast the manager and several hotel staff slipped up behind me with a birthday cake with candles and my name on it. The staff then sang Happy Birthday to me. One of the biggest surprises of my life. I think my smile was almost as big as my Thai friends that morning.

I have stayed at this hotel well over 200 nights over the past 10 years and I never hesitate to stay there when I am in Thailand.
The staff is simply incredible. From the time you walk onto their property you are treated like you are respected and appreciated. The staff goes out of its way to make customers welcome and to make sure they have a fabulous experience. I am a Platinum member with Marriott and the VIP staff always welcomes me and takes great care to be sure I have a good room and everything I need to have a successful stay.
The swimming pool is the best that Pattaya has to offer and would give most hotels in Asia a run for their money. The pool bar has happy hour every day at 4PM and it is always fun to hear the drums and the gongs to let everyone know it is happy hour and 1/2 price drinks.
    The gardens are a delight.
The rooms are nothing special but they are very well maintained and always cleaned to perfection. The Internet is high speed and when there is a problem with anything, they do whatever they can to make it right fast.
My stay on this trip was for 2 1/2 weeks. Every day I stayed there, I was treated like an A-list celebrity and I knew I would wake up the next day to another wonderful day. Breakfast every morning is amazing and they have a large variety of offerings.
The GM walks the hotel constantly to make sure everything is going great with all guests. Most who see this man do not know he is the Manager but as I have been staying at this hotel for over 10 years, I have met him and always enjoy talking to him. But, more importantly, a day does not go by that I don't see him walking and inspecting the hotel at least 3-4 times. That is not something I ever seen anyone do at other hotels and it is in my opinion why this hotel keeps in the terrific shape it is in.
I know many are interested in whether or not you can bring guests into the hotel and I have never had a problem with this. It is not going to be an issue for them as long as your guest is over 18 and has an ID card. They leave that with security when they get to the hotel and they pick it up on exit. I have no problem with doing this. However, my long term boys stayed with me the entire trip and I just checked them into my room so they had a hotel key and could come and go as they wanted. This also means they could charge anything they want to the bill. As we all had happy hour every day at the hotel pool bar, I was not surprised to see my bill on exit was 50 percent food and beverage as the boys would have friends over for swimming and even with discounts, it adds up quick!
I had food poisoning before I got to the hotel and was a bit under the weather for the entire trip and ended up only going out of the hotel 2-3 times over the entire trip. So, I spent the vast majority of the trip inside the hotel grounds and I could not have asked for a nicer experience.
If you are going to be in Thailand and want a fabulous place to stay, you can't go wrong with this hotel. They will treat you well and you will understand what makes Thailand so amazing!
