  1. I think Spain developed. Franco period was very painfull and followed with a social change. EU required principles of „rule of law“ in order to be in EU. But…secretly the King still travelled to Africa to hunt elephants.
  2. I asked in Colombia, from where this culture of cheating and over playing comes from. I was told its historically imported from Spain! 😀
  3. Berlin sex and cruising clubs have lots of drugs. I suspect most muscle guys do something to enjoy those nights.
  4. I compare Taipei gay nightlife with Berlin, Bogota, Medellin - Taiwanese guys said they dont have comparable.
  5. I must say that in my recent visit to Taiwan I really enjoyed the safe environment (daily- and nightlife, grindr dates, walk whereever you want, etc.). Being in Colombia is more like a tactical operative mission, which eventually got on my nerves. Taiwan is not particularly drinking, partying and drugs country, which I found refreshing and better for sex (i am not a fan of alcohol and nightclubs). From Europe, both places are the same flight time, so its „meat or fish“ choice, depends on the mood and style I want.
  6. In Colombia, buy doxy in pharmacy (no prescription required). Yes, its not 100% protection, but still significant.
  7. People who work in malaria regions take doxy for months. CDC has not established maximum limit/period as no negative impacts is known. Post sex regimen is one pill after the event.
  8. Prep users are under medical monitoring, the drugs are from the same family as hiv drugs (now ca 30 years of experience). I would be more concerned about the alcohol use (including moderate).
  9. PrEP is highly effective for preventing HIV. PrEP reduces the risk of getting HIV from sex by about 99% when taken as prescribed. Although there is less information about how effective PrEP pills are among people who inject drugs, we know that PrEP pills reduce the risk of getting HIV by at least 74% when taken as prescribed. Currently, PrEP shots are not recommended for people who inject drugs. PrEP is less effective when not taken as prescribed. source: CDC
  10. So if you take prep for hiv, are vaccinated against HPV, hepatitis B; tested for hepatitis C, and take doxy for other STIs, you are the safest sex partner possible for others and you protect yourself best. Condom only do not provide such protection.
  11. In a bid to stem the resurgence of sexually transmitted infections, the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention plans to recommend doxycycline, a widely used antibiotic, for use after an unprotected sexual encounter. The antibiotic would be taken only by gay and bisexual men and transgender women who have had an S.T.I. within the previous year or who may be at risk for one. The scientific evidence is too limited to recommend the strategy, called doxy-PEP, to all people who might be exposed to infection-causing bacteria during sex. The agency released draft guidelines on Monday and plans to finalize them after a 45-day public comment period.
  12. We should think about sustainable consumption, Thai waste management system has long way to go and waste reduction helps a lot.🏊🏽‍♂️
  13. I have witnessed people from the crowd tasting strippers dick in Theatron (some with condom, some without), and I think it was Thursday night. I had a feeling that strippers were having good time and teasing people. They are not shy and if you dont look like a creep I think its not so difficult. The one who got most attention was a hairy average looking colombian guy in late 40 and he was just very enthusistic and willing, he did not look like heavy tipper. I think the stripper (extremely hot guy) used him to bring some “exciting change” into his dance routine. All Theatron strippers I saw were very, super or extremely hot guys). The first dancers were less interactive, but the last dancers rather interactive, but its not sex club orgy of course. There is staff supervising the stage. Everything happens among crowd of 200 people and 200 mobile phones making pictures!
  14. About 15 years ago I passed a volleyball court near Jomtien beach (still active?) and among the players I noticed very dark muscled hunk, who I thought was exceptionally handsome. He was really the only dark guy among the pale players. He noticed me…and I did not visit my hotel for 3 nights as I moved to his flat. Good times, I got emotionally attached and when I left I think I gave him 400 euros or so (that was my initiative, he just asked some support). I also remember various „solutions“ like me renting a condo and he would always be for me when I am there😃. That sounded a bit too much though..
  15. Trump and Russia is an interesting case. The fact is that he required that Germany would increase military expenditure, close down the gas pipeline which was feeding the monster and to show leadership in foreign and security policy in Europe. Germany strugles in all 3 areas for various, mostly internal reasons. Russia is a badly managed case for US, who has now to save the Europeans, who as a group should be able to deal with Russia. For US only China is appropriate sizeable counterpart to deal with.
  16. I think you underestimate the amount of reconciliation, war compensation, war tribunals, re-education, de-putinization, sanctions which will remain in place, etc. You think we are “back in business as normal” in 3-5 years? Will not happen and should not happen.
  17. Vladivostok by that time will not be Russia. I hope the empire will break into smaller pieces like USSR and then its safer for all.
  18. The tragedy is that those handsome Russian students are now in a position where they have to (some want to) shoot off the heads of equally handsome Ukrainian guys. I worked and lived in 2012-13 in Kiev, visited most large cities in Ukraine including Bucha; later visited many times Moscow for work. In this life I will never visit Russia again.
  19. I am nor aware that Ukrainian leaders are under international arrest warrant, but at least one guy (actually two) in Russia should be immediately arrested for war crimes. Today, 17 March 2023, Pre-Trial Chamber II of the International Criminal Court (“ICC” or “the Court”) issued warrants of arrest for two individuals in the context of the situation in Ukraine: Mr Vladimir Vladimirovich Putin and Ms Maria Alekseyevna Lvova-Belova. Mr Vladimir Vladimirovich Putin, born on 7 October 1952, President of the Russian Federation, is allegedly responsible for the war crime of unlawful deportation of population (children) and that of unlawful transfer of population (children) from occupied areas of Ukraine to the Russian Federation (under articles 8(2)(a)(vii) and 8(2)(b)(viii) of the Rome Statute). The crimes were allegedly committed in Ukrainian occupied territory at least from 24 February 2022. There are reasonable grounds to believe that Mr Putin bears individual criminal responsibility for the aforementioned crimes, (i) for having committed the acts directly, jointly with others and/or through others (article 25(3)(a) of the Rome Statute), and (ii) for his failure to exercise control properly over civilian and military subordinates who committed the acts, or allowed for their commission, and who were under his effective authority and control, pursuant to superior responsibility (article 28(b) of the Rome Statute). Please report when you see him!
  20. Blame the victim! May I remind you that innocents Ukrainians are slaughtered every day.
  21. And we should also not forget that when Russia pushed Germans out from the occupied territories, they reinstated their own occupation in the “Eastern Block”. The narrative of liberators dont work 100% for lets say Poland, who were horribly treated by Soviets, then nazis and then again Soviets. UK, USA just accepted for various reasons that these countries are now under Soviets. Unfortunately the same thinking seems to linger in West, when we see how slowly weapons are delivered to Ukraine to fight the Russians.
  22. Why go back in time, we have fresh attrocities of Russia. Here is a Butcha massacre memorial. The occupants of Bucha, located near the city of Kiev, belonged to the 64th Independent Motorized Brigade of the Russian army, under the command of Colonel Azatbek Omurbekov, a war criminal who soon after was named "Hero of Russia" by the Kremlin. 461 bodies were found in Bucha. Many of the bodies bore signs of violent death and torture.
  23. Red terror is normalized in Russia since Putin came to the power, why should they build memorials? Putin has closed organizations who collected data about crimes and victims of the communism. And holodamor in Ukraine - this is now replicated even in larger scale by the terrorist in Kremlin.
  24. They met when he was 19, so 9 years.
