Tayrona has a nude beach which is a gay beach and when I was there, the only 4 naked guys parading around joined forces and marched to the bushes nearby 😀. I was there with a friend and did not join. Easy to get there, its the next beach to the beach with a tower. It was huge and basically empty. I heard they have a good gay dance club in Baranquilla. Santa Marta is ok for transiting for various places including Tayrona, but itself not overly interesting. Its developed for tourists and has hotels, food, drinks and music.

Cali offers not too much for tourists, but I liked that - very few gringos. Pereira and Manizales are touristic hotspots because of various mountains related and thermal spa attractions.

I took a bus from Pereira to Cali, I like bus travel in central Colombia. Usually overnight, pretty comfy, weird 2am snack stops, every second trip something was broken (aircon, electricity system), people are shared to other busses, etc. But, everybody remains calm and happy, big respect to colombians. Its a project in itself! There is a city called Palmira near Cali, Grindr went crazy there.
