  1. Just recently had my first Astrazeneca jab with no side effects so far, what a great pity it wasnt a jab by a fully errect Thai hunk, still 11 weeks away to the second jab. Still hoping the Thais can get on top of the current wave of the virus, so that I can then get some Thais on top of me, one day maybe so I'll keep wishing
  2. I love Singapore and if I could afford it I would love to live there, I have friends working for big multi national companies there and they love it.
  3. Looks like the wait for expats to get the jab in Thailand will take a little longer, due to the amount of vaccine in the country.
  4. CSL in Melbourne Victoria are producing the Astrazeneca vaccine and have hit their target production of 1mil doses a week, unfortunately the slowness of vaccinations is being put down to the federal government running the vaccination program rather than having the states run it like they do with other vaccines. And every batch must be quality tested before it can be released and that process takes about 4 weeks to complete (see below). Originally the federal government wasn't in a rush due to the low infection rates here and because they decided to wait a little bit longer they could see if there were any issues arising from the various vaccines used elsewhere in the world. Vaccination rates are now increasing in Australia as the states have now set up mass vaccination centres and the supply of the vaccine is increasing. Once CSL have completed the Astrazeneca production contract (I think 50mil doses) they will start to produce the Novavax vaccine which is another 50mil doses, CSL only has the capacity to produce one type of vaccine at a time and they are our main vaccine manufacturer. We are also donating vaccines to other countries as part of their Covax agreement.
  5. It's been almost 2 years since my last trip to Thailand, I was planning a trip when everything went pear shaped with this horrid virus.
  6. There is a big workers camp at Howard Springs in the Northern Territory (just out of Darwin) that has been turned into a quarantine facility, I read this week that the federal government are looking at increasing the capacity of it by about one third (current capacity is about 850 I think) and may look at housing returnees from India there. It is a far better option all round than relying on hotels for quarantine, it's a good camp and is much more fit for purpose. One of the problems is that people are still leaving Australia for whatever reason (compassionate, essential circumstances, work, medical etc) and then put their names on the list to come home. I read an article the other day, it was written in January (link below) that shows the number of people heading out of Australia outnumbers those coming back, I imagine some are foreign nationals heading off. I thought the numbers quoted during the first year of the pandemic were a bit rubbery, at the start of the pandemic they said about 40,000 world wide were on the list wanting to come home, 6 months into it and there was still 40,000 on the list and just last week they said there was still about 40,000 on the list. The arcticle may shed some light as to why that number hasn't changed much. News article leaving/returning comparison
  7. Until they pass two negatives, if a person tests positive prior to the flight they will have to wait until they are clear of the virus. Personally I would think it crazy allowing known positive people to board a flight that will be carrying over 100 others of which the majority would have tested negative. There are approximately 900 that are classed as vulnerable and high risk and they are the first that will be returned on the repatriation flights.
  8. As above, they have also added an extra negative test before the flight as well
  9. Well it is starting to look like my hoped for trip to Thailand in 2022 may have just been shot down in flames, I was so looking forward to some raunchy times with some hot Thai guys too. "Australians hoping international travel will return to normal next year have been dealt a blow, as the Federal Government warns borders are unlikely to reopen until the end of 2022 at least." Bad news for Australians
  10. I can gurantee if and when I can get back to Thailand there will be an orgy at some stage of the trip, or more likely a gangbang with me at the receiving end
  11. From what I have been reading paulsf has it right, the attached pic was copied from elsewhere and was a letter delivered to a hotel quarantine guest. For 14 days you can't do squat and the third test has also been thrown in. After 14 days trapped with these new quarantine rules a person would sure like to be able to get out and about a bit more freely than what is currently possible.
  12. Could of used some of that with the last guy I was with at Arena, the way he was banging away I thought I could smell burning rubber
  13. Not good news for Australians, I just hope they can get some successful vaccine travel bubbles going, I do miss having my hands (and other parts) on those smoking hot Thai bodies. ............................ A new report has warned that international travel for Australians is likely to remain restrictive until 2024. Deloitte Access Economics’ quarterly business outlook - printed prior to the Morrison government’s vaccination program being thrown into disarray late last week - expects international borders will re-open only gradually. For Australia, Deloitte economist Chris Richardson anticipates there will be some sort of quarantine remaining for incoming travellers for some time. “That keeps international travel - both inbound and outbound - pretty weak in 2022, and it may not return to pre-pandemic levels until 2024,” he said 2024 travel prediction
  14. Where I'm from it was quite discrete but was starting to come out into the open more later in the 70's. One regret was that I wasn't more curious back then so that I may have had the courage to have been able to enjoy m2m much earlier than I did.
  15. I used to love the chat rooms at gaydar but hadn't even been to the site in years, I looked back a couple of months ago but the chat rooms where I used to go to were very quiet. They were mostly the Australian and some Asian rooms.
  16. I'm hoping mid 2022 but not holding my breath, doesn't really matter what the Thais are doing at the moment but getting out of Australia isn't an easy task and upon return it's still 2 weeks quarantine at a quarantine hotel at our own expense. If and when I do get back I will be having a lot of fun to make up for lost time, thinking a lot about 2 at a time
  17. If I could get the right lotto numbers I would be interested in a 20 year one. Seriously though, I had thought if I were to move to Thailand for an extended period the 5 year deal looked ok, if I have it right they also do the 90 day reports and extensions for you which would make things a little bit less of a hassle for some. I have seen some criticism of the Elite but for me it's just a personal choice.
  18. Latest for me is first shot of Astra is sometime in May
  19. I was a late starter to m2m pleasures although the curiosity had been there for a long time I had never had the courage to act upon it. My first was in Phuket about 21 years ago, I went for a Thai massage but the shop I went to only had a male available at that time so needing the massage I said ok. His massage skills were very good and afterwards he noticed I was erect and he asked if I wanted a bj and sure enough my answer was yes, wow, he really blew my mind and from that moment I was hooked. I then became a massage junkie, standard 2hr massage and some after pleasures. Curiosity to go further still remained and many years later on a trip to Bangkok I visited a gay massage shop for the usual 2hr massage and a bj and hopefully a bit more so went fully prepared just in case, massage was ok and then I noticed he was fully erect so the fun started. After a short while of playing with each other I asked if he would like to f*ck me and his face lit up whith a big smile. Making sure he was gentle to start with he then proceded to pop my rear end cherry and it was quite enjoyable. Since then on every trip I have enjoyed bottoming for the Thai guys and also love to suck them too. The exploration of m2m pleasures continues for me.
  20. Plenty to do in the city but alas I am country, why I loved travel to Thailand, it gave me a chance to let loose a bit.
  21. What's gay life like where I am? Dead, living in a country town in Western Australia and being attracted mostly to Asian guys means I miss out badly. No gay saunas, no gay bars, no gay escorts and virtually no gay activity at all. The only upside is good internet and lots of porn, tsk tsk. The apps are still online but very little of interest for me in my region and even for a Thai massage by a Thai guy (with the only extra a happy ending) is a good 1.5 hours drive each way. Oh course this means that if I ever get to travel back to Bangkok I will be letting loose and having one hell of a mighty time.
  22. There are talks at the moment of a possible vaccine travel bubble without quarantine between Australia and Singapore for later this year, I wouldn't mind it and even if I had to self isolate at home for a week or two on return would be fine. Possible travel bubble Aust - Singapore
  23. G's on Silom soi 4 has become a favorite of mine, especially on my first night in, kind of became a ritual that after checking into the hotel I would head over to Senso and after a couple of hours there would enjoy a meal and beer at G's. My other favorite, although not gay owned that I know of, is The Mango Tree on Soi Tantawan.
  24. Been very lucky here because the federal government closed the international borders at the start of the pandemic, life is almost normal with most infections being returning Australians in quarantine (those that were stranded overseas at the start of the pandemic) but the main restriction being international travel. So being free for me means being able to get to Thailand (or even Singapore) again and when I am set free to travel I shall be having fun fun fun with the masseurs in Bangkok (or Singapore).
