I spent 7 days in Rio, 2 days in Porto Alegre and one in Sao Paulo. When I go back in 3 weeks I am doing the same trip just adding one extra day to Porto Alegre staying there Thursday thru Sunday. There isn’t a lot of new information to was has been in the report this year. For me Meo Mundo was great, with quite a few new guys, 117 was busy on Tues and Friday nights, many of the same guys but a few new faces, and Pointe was DEAD on the two nights I stopped by but…I did meet a blondish hair, athletic build guy there, he was one of only about 10 guys working. We went up to a room had a lot of fun and I invited him to dinner and to spend the night. We went to ToNemAi the gay bar in Ipanema and had a enjoyable time together, he ended coming back to sleep over the following night as well. We all have different turn-ons and turnoffs and for me a turnoff is plucked shaped eyebrows! I like the natural look! Between the first night I met him and the next night when he came over to spend the night, he went and had his eyebrows shaved off and new ones tattooed in place! UGH! not a natural shape either which maybe I could have put up with. He is a nice guy but I just couldn’t have sex with him again! He messages me every day or so on FB and wants to know if he can stay with me again, and I have told him I am getting a smaller apartment this time and will be staying alone! I don’t want to hurt his feelings but it is just not going to work for me. I met up with my usual regulars at Meo Mundo and met two new cute twinks that were amazing fun. I don’t think I ended up doing any one on ones at MM the whole week, I always ended up in a 3 or 4 way, but great fun! The boys were really into having a great time! Mezziniu was good on Friday night and there is a waiter there who when it first opened was one of the rentboys, but became a waiter about 3 or 4 years ago. He came up to me and said “I have a friend who is looking to make some money but doesn’t work here as a rentboy. I think you two would get along well, are you interested in meeting him?” As someone who is always trying to broaden my cultural horizons, I said sure! J He brought over a guy still dressed in street clothes, who was handsome, great smile and spoke English! It was like hitting the trifecta! He was 21, had spent 6 months in China as a exchange student and was in prelaw at the university. Being that he wasn’t a rentboy I was a little leary of how good he would be in the room. Well, he was great! Really fun and all around nice guy! We have stayed in contact on FB and are meeting up when I go back. Both afternoons at the hotel the soccer player came over around 3:00 and would stay until 5:00 when I left for the sauna. I really like him, he is dark blonde muscular, 8” dick! The first day he was waiting in the lobby for me and had a box of dark chocolate truffles he brought me! I thought that was a really nice gesture. He hasn’t worked at the sauna in 4 or 5 years as he plays on the local semi pro team. He showed me the latest press clippings from his games he is very proud of that. Each night I went to BarMixx after the saunas. I really like it there! One of the boys I originally met there two years ago when he was 18 is now a waiter there, so he was giving me the inside scoop on the various boys! It was very helpful, he knows what I like and he was pointing out the guys he knew I would have a good time with. He messaged me on FB yesterday to tell me the last could of weeks it as been very busy there with a lot of guys looking for work. I have found about ½ the guys are from the saunas and ½ are guys looking for some spending money on the weekend. I really like Porto Alegre both the city and the boys, the European look to the guys, but unfortunately it is a Thurs to Sunday destination at best. And Saturdays can be slow so it’s good to have your private stock of boys available. On Sunday I left Porto alegre on the 2:00 flight to Sao Paulo’s Congonhas airport the city airport in Sao Paulo, from there to the sauna Lagoa is only about a 10 – 12 min taxi ride. Typically the flights back to the U.S. are late evening so I to the Lagoa for 4 or 5 hours before catching a cab to the international airport which is about a 45 min to hour ride from Lagao although this trip the taxi driver made it in 35 mins.! Those who have been to the saunas are familiar with the many “scraps” of paper the boys write their phone numbers or email addresses on. Before this last trip, I found one of these scraps caught under the lining in my suitcase, it had only a email address on it, no name no phone number. So I typed the address into FB and the profile popped up. It turned out to be a guy I had met once at Lagoa two years prior when he was 18, so I messaged him and he answered and I told him I was going to be in Lagao for the afternoon and evening before my flight, did he want to meet? When I got to Lagoa he was there waiting! We had a great time and he said it must have been fate that I found his email after two years. We have stayed in contact and I will be meeting up with him again this upcoming trip. I usually catch the flight from SP to DFW and on to SoCal, that flight leaves S.P. at 11:55 at night, so I usually leave Lagoa around 9:00 pm, check in, get a bite to eat and then board the flight home…with a lot of fun memories! I'm now self-employed and hoping to make lots more mulah. So I will be able to gallivant off to Brazil and do it in style. My conundrum is that I know some daddy bear chasers in Sao Paulo, but I also want to visit Rio. What's the best way to visit both cities in your opinion. Thanks. I never spend more then a Sunday afternoon and evening in S.P. but If I was planning a week trip with two weekends I would fly into SP on Friday and spend Fri/Sat./Sun in SP and be able to spend the weekend at Lagoa. Fly on Monday to Rio where you can go to Meo Mundo on Monday night which is their biggest night and Tuesday at 117 which is their biggest night. I originally met him 7 years ago when he was 18, ran into him this last trip and and we "re-connected", he is going to stay at the hotel on this next trip, I don't want to lose contact with him again! This next trip I am staying at a new hotel called the Cosmopolitan Master Palace Hotel. It is about 5 blocks from the Sheraton Hotel in the same Moinjos de Vento area of Porto Alegre, which is the area I like very much. I got the room for just over $110./nt. I booked through Bookings.com and I have also used Agoda.com, both have worked well in the past and have had no problems using either site. Lucky stayed there recently and gave it a thumbs up! Very few Muscled or body builder types as opposed to Lagoa in Sao Paulo and Pointe or 117 in Rio. My preference is a pretty wide range that covers twink to muscle! :-) So for the Muscle liking guys here: These two guys I have known in Porto Alegre for about 7 years, I like both of them and are both nice guys. Like a lot of the Porto Alegre population they are of European ancestry, they are 1/2 Italian and 1/2 Polish. A fairly large % of Porto Alegre is descended from German, Italian and Polish Immigrants. The pic below is when I met them at Mezzininu in 2007 when the sauna opened, they were 19 at the time, the one cousin was doing a sex show on stage with another sauna boy(he's the top) and he came and got me out of the audience for a close up look.
