Thermas was full of hot guys who are in town to meet a rich husband at the late circuit parties and paying for the trip by spending the late afternoon/early evening at Thermas. there were easily 40, perhaps 50 guys there. Most were pumped up muscle guys from Serbia, Cuba and especially Brazil. In other words, I was in heaven. I enjoyed the favors of Bruno from Rio, who usually lives in Madrid. And, I also enjoyed Enrique from Sao Paolo who usually lives in Milan. All agreed that the place empties after 8:30 or 9 after getting going between 5 and 6. The Barcelona festival you mentioned lasts until August 16. If your trip continues, you can be confident that the sauna will continue to be filled with a great selection of working guys. I know that sauna well. The remodel of the sauna a couple or a few years ago makes for a cheerful place. I have had many great times in that sauna and still keep contact with some of the working guys, many of whom, advertise on Plantetromeo, in addition to working in the sauna. Even though most of the working guys leave the sauna by nine o’clock, some of the guys actually sleep at the sauna. The sauna is open 24 hours a day. As you know, there is no charge for the rooms on the cruising floor. The guys who did not score a client or those who are short of money or no place to go, can sleep at night at the sauna for the admission price they paid for sauna access. They can close the room door, get some sleep and have shower facilities when they wake. If they are lucky, they will score a client the next day, without paying entrance again, since they are already in the sauna. I have talked with working guys that have done that. I went to Thermas sauna on Monday and did not find it busy of course. Circuit was only starting the day after. I managed to meet a nice lad, Marek, excellent sucker. He told me he was from Poland, but I am not sure since he did not understand even a few basic words in this language. He explained that he had stayed too long in Barcelona not to forget all his Polish ... The place is clean,well run with good security and of course a varied choice of boys. There is no hard sell and I never felt uncomfortable or anxious about security and personal belongings. The going rate was around fifty euros but most were willing to bargain down. Sure beats having an escort in ones hotel room for hundred plus euros. I've never been to a sauna before so I'm slightly nervous... Are there a decent amount of European twink-type guys there as well as Brazilians hunky types? I'm sure it's luck of the draw who turns up on a given night but generally? I think I read on here that it gets a bit quiet after 7pm is that right? And when you buy your ticket is that a sort of day pass or do you have to pay again if you came back later? While there are lots of Brazilians there, there are also many guys from different parts of the world. Try the place, you are sure to find someone you like. Although I have never engaged in a three-some, I see no reason why it would not be allowed. You might be aware that the rooms on the "cruising floor" are without cost. While it is true that those rooms are small, it is possible for three or more people to fit in the room and close and lock the door. I have seen some of the escorts sit in the rooms and smoke even though smoking is not allowed. They sit on the edge of the "bed" and then close the door. The rooms in the lower section of the sauna are nicer and you must pay for those rooms. There might, only might, be an issue if you were to advise the person renting the room to you that you intend to use the room for three people. If you use one of the rooms that require payment, I don't see any need to advise the person renting the room to you that you intend to use the room for three people. The room will be rented to you and the charge will be added to your bill. The person renting the room does not follow you to the room. You could negotiate a three some and advise the escorts of your room number. Bottom line - no problem if you use the rooms on the cruising floor and maybe an issue if you use the paid rooms for three people. You said you have never been in Barcelona. Statistically, you will have a splendid time there. Of course, there are better days when the sauna is filled with handsome guys and there are days when only a handful of guys are available. They all said the price should be no more than 50, and some will take 40 E, although might ask for much more at first chat. I paid 50-70 as I like to top and expect both of us to have a happy ending. Thursday had enough boys and a range of types and even more on Friday. No shortage of twinks and moderately muscular guys. I was with one guy named David from Brazil who at first gave some of the best head I have ever had. He was a bit older but lean and muscular. Seemed busiest around 1800 - 1900 hrs, but likely busy from 1700. I was also told that some clients enter at lunch time for a hook up with their regular boy. On some regular gay hook up mobile phone sites there were a few very cute twinks. Likely best to meet first and then decide in case the pics or the vibe do not match. I stayed in a lovely apartment in the gay area AND had one guy over for 2hrs only. The apartment block was quiet the entire time. Am not at the site mentioned, but the apartment was not too far from the Sagrada Familiar... incomplete cathedral. I think that's how the apt. is somewhat advertised. There are several other gay saunas where non-working guys meet and play, including Sauna Casanova. 2. The "gay area" covers several blocks in The Eixample Left (or west of the Paeso de Gracia). Use Google Maps and locate the Axel Hotel on Aribau and Consell de Cent; then look up various gay businesses and you'll see that there is a definite cluster of bars and cafes etc 3. Yes.
