Some are saying it's a political ploy. Trump wants/needs a political win before November, so if he can muster and manipulate a foreign policy success, if might help make him appear stronger. Trump is a fake, fraud, and an asshole. And he exposes himself every minute in office. Rumor has it that the Republicans are proposing only a $600 check for those household incomes nearest poverty level. Can you fucking imagine how meaningless that amount will be to the poor who are most affected by this tragedy? $600 doesn't even cover one-month's rent for a closet in the slums here. The poor and middle class need Andrew Yang. $1000-a-month at a minimum would go a long way to healing the devastation we are about to discover.
