yes but that is generally the case of everybody working with many people. I was surprised when meeting teachers 20 years after leaving school and they remembered in what bench I used to sit and with whom. Not only they will remember detail of encounters but also how much we tipped them last time which may hurt our standing on repeat. But they are not superhumans and sometimes forget us faster than we wish specially if we meet them outside the scene. Once while taking haircut I saw guy year before was my guest at now defunct BBBInn for good 12 hours, at the time my longest off ever. Being gentleman I waited outside of shop just to greet him. When I asked if he remembers me his suspended answer was " yes , you were my English teacher ?". One of motorsai drivers usually parked on Silom between sois 2 and 4 always seeing me claims I offed him few times when he was working at Tawan, certainly not a case .

you can't blame boy for going with customer offering him say , 3000 for short time of all we offered was 1500. On another hand boy quoting 3000 can't blame us if we offer half of that because we know his colleague will go with us for that tip. As I said in another thread, market economy at work.

Market economy has its advantages and disadvantages. Chinese had to wait much longer post-covid to be allowed to travel so now they are catching up. I don't think they all are so generous , rather some of them are as thye like to show off. I see them buying those garlands or tipping boys on the stage , say 500 baht just for being there but often boys sitting with them for prolonged time are leaving with 20-50 baht tip, the same can be observed when show performers are soliciting tips circulating among audience. Massage boys in soi 6 where shops don't have minimum tip policy would tell you that often Chinese leave next to nothing . As for tips for services behind closed door, only reliable source of information would be boys but on that subject there are tight lipped understandably. But if Chinese are driving prices up indeed they we need to adapt or find cheaper providers, just like everywhere else

make sure you as generous with boys as you are with yourself

Welcome back after bit of absence, rest assured you are not forgotten here

Bangkok is bigger market with locals, business travellers and tourists while Pattaya has tourists only so selection in Bangkok is much bigger. It doesn't mean in Pattaya you will be starved for choice, plenty of willing and suitable guys there as well, specially if you are looking for twinkish type. Either way go to Pattaya to find yourself how it is, fun guaranteed.

don't forget Boyztown, 5 go-gos there , two of them ( not sure about ABomb) feature shows and some freelance masseurs are top of the line

you will rest when you go home, don't waste your time on TV unless it's raining cats and dogs. Streets outside provide for much more entertainment. resting before hitting go-go is better if you invite some masseur to rest with you , it may even turn that going to bars is not really necessary that night

Exploring Bangkok’s Old City and Yaowarat is super easy with MRT Blue Line
vinapu replied to reader's topic in The Beer Bar
excellent, I can add that Sanam Chai station is destination worth trip there just to see it and Wat Po is very short walk from there. From Wat Po is very short walk to ferry across the river Wat Arun -
good thing is that somebody publicised his struggles so he could get all that help. Story reminds us that even in relatively prosperous and developed country there are people still lacking electricity and clean water

I gather you are talking about girls from an original post, not my usual companions

I like your post but generally speaking disagree to a certain degree with all 4 counts based on my experience spanning 30+ trips over 23 years 1/ sometimes Greek Gods are like you describe , at other times even if they know their value they still appreciate business and money and doing their best . Mediocre guys are the same , some are grateful they were chosen, others combine mediocre looks with mediocre performance 2/ I found that 2 out 3 times repeated performance is better than first time although after half dozen times most of them are showing signs of complacency or boredom. Mercifully not all of them 3/ if negotiations are protracted it's our fault , we should not allow it. Way I handle that is if boy quotes too high I counteroffer and then it's his choice to take it or see you next time. If he is asking me how much I gave him then I quote and again , take or leave. as for correlations of fees with performance my experience is opposite, exceptions apply and many of those but still generally I'm better satisfied with better paid encounters 4/ I found I like better meetings when boy speaks at least a bit of English, perhaps because I usually off long time so there always will be some time to talk.

46+38= 84, that's percentage of Americans who are wrong ( I wanted to say stupid but decided to be charitable in aftermath of depressing "debate" tonight which was neither presidential nor debate ) -

Presidential Debates. Will the Orange Turd show up?
vinapu replied to Stable Genius's topic in Politics
Just watched debate and it was depressing sight. How America managed to put herself in such situation when it need to chose between bombastic idiot unable to answer simple questions and hard to understand senior , visibly frail whose election may be considered senior abuse ? God save America from herself ! -
New worldwide income tax proposed for residents in Thailand
vinapu replied to Pantherz's topic in Gay Thailand
Fair . Being citizen and thus subject of protection by most powerful nation on Earth should have it's price -
no compassion from me as those rules are mirroring situation where I live, residents are supposed to pay tax on worldwide income, non residents by source i.e. only on income earned from the country ( subject of some exceptions, of course made by rich for the rich )

I stand my ground. When you retired you want to be living with country with proper health care, senior services , transportation and easy links to the world , preferably blessed with temperate climate and predictable political situation with reliable legal system. Few people would like to move to Somalia, Syria, Myanmar , North Korea or some remote Pacific island, just to name a few just to avoid paying taxes. Nice to have but certainly not priority of sane person approaching twilight years.

Cambodia Digital Entry card to be introduced from July 1
vinapu replied to vinapu's topic in Gay Cambodia
in meantime I did bit more looking and yes , confirmed that with official government site. It may be silver lining in that , at first look nonsensical idea - if that is in preparation to Schengen type arrangements with neighbouring countries while wishing to preserve income visas generate. Say visa will be abolished altogether but new Digital Entry card will cost 30 $ as visa is now. As they say where I was born ,"wolf will be fed but lamb still intact". It just my dream -
Visa differences impede progress towards a Schengen-style south east Asia
vinapu replied to reader's topic in The Beer Bar
Russia is great country with great culture and a lot of fresh air but it's heavy hand of state which makes those people wishing to live somewhere else. Putin had best chance to make country catching with prosperous West and fast rising East Asia. Instead he wasted his opportunities on chasing imperial dreams from bygone era dragging whole country down. President of one of most powerful countries of the world now is happy if invited for visit some bloodstained operetta countries like North Korea. -
+1 although yesterday I came across another stupid ranking - 10 most disappointing travel destinations. Bangkok came on top with apparently 16 % travellers disappointed with what they saw compared to what they expected. Looks like every 6th traveller there looks at ever present everywhere half empty part of glass

sometimes we don't appreciate what we have until we taste living somewhere else. I mean long term, not , even longish vacations when we know that sooner or later we return home
