Has anyone bought any of the very cheap items from Temu?

They have extraordinarily cheap electronic items OBVIOUSLY copies but do they work?

Thanks, but I don't need warnings from people who have never bought from them.
I'll start it off by saying I once bought a VERY cheap watch (148 baht) but had to buy more for minimum order so I bought razor blades to bring the order to 180 ish Baht.

The watch is excellent but the blades were rubbish.
I am interested in a cheap reserve phone to keep for emergencies.

I buy off Temu every week here in Australia 

Last week my parcel didn't arrive , the tracker app said the courier delivery was 823am , there was NO parcel in my foyer of my apartment building nor did he buzz my unit 

I contacted TEMU immediately and they immediately returned my $40 payment !!👍😁

There was no way that courier delivered my parcel 📦 he either delivered to the wrong apartment building or kept it himself 

 

 

 

Temu is just second middleman after Aliexpress (Alibaba) btw Chinese manufacturer and consumer without any added value.

You may cut Temu and buy the from first middleman -Aliexpress at least 25-30% cheaper.

There are few categories, which per my experience you should never buy from noname Chinese brands: razors (they just do not shave), contact lenses (doubtful quality and health control) , cosmetics and make up (nobody has tested it safety), condoms (they are not reliable).

I bought some deodorant,  said to be lavender and sage. Incredibly  cheap, and Incredibly useless!

A friend became addicted to Temu's junk. Now he has boxes of stuff that he will likely never use. The cheap products verify that you get what you pay for.

It looks as though almost everyone who's used them states they're scam artists.

Like with most things off the Internet, quality isn't assured. Read the feedback if there is any. Found with Temu there are a lot of items advertised as "Only 4 left" as a physiological entice to make you buy it.

Bought a few items, with some success. However, prefer Lazada, as their quality is better, and more often that not, identical items are cheaper.

Probably a psychological rather a physiological enticement........bloody software thinking it knows better than us!

I'm using it as bathroom deoderiser now 😁

If you buy CLOTHING from them, stay away from open flames,  its possible you will catch on fire.....

Anything I ever bought from them broke within the first week of use. 

I,  for one, am in stage of life looking for ways to get rid of stuff rather than buy even more.

Also learned  they if I need something , I pay whatever  it costs , if I don't need I just skip it even if price is 97% off. After years of hunting bargains I find it very liberating and also manly . Why ? my mother used to say " man pays twice as much for thing he needs, woman pays half price  for stuff she doesn't need"
