my was also on 6th floor facing Suriwong and also nothing bothered me there noise wise. I lover Raya because it's location as well as their entry system. You use card to access an elevator, even if moving between floors and you can bypass reception completely which adds to discretion of whole place. Also service elevator in the parking lot in the back can be used 7/24 although it seems that did away with habit of closing front access between 6/24. Thing one needs to be aware is that they will require 1000 baht deposit so better be prepared , Raya is also notorious for adhering to 3 pm check in time but we were pleasantly surprised that they let us in when we showed up at noon.

I don't know how it is in other countries but in Mexico when I asked it was about 3 times of ST fee. Also spoon once remarked that LT in extremely good value in Thailand compared to Malaysia. Days of 3000 LT, in Bangkok bars at least, may be slowly coming to an end but still LT remains very good value. And believe me , that 10000 while shocking in terms of number of zeros seemed in line with what guy in question had to offer. I was not shocked, only inclined to stick to my self imposed limit of half of that price. Glad I did but still not 100% sure.\ I have personal story of missed opportunity which haunts me for 30 years. While on Easter Island I saw beautiful carving and price quoted seemed for me prohibitive at that time so I gave up.
