  1. I'm, like you, one of those liking different type guys as well and yet , on quite a few occasion I found there at Complex somebody I like. So better come with open eyes and without preconceived notions
  2. neither calendar nor ticking clock cares
  3. that's 21st century technology for you then what we will be talking about ? nothing excites more than other people's money and how they spend it. Then there's danger that some readers will take those amounts as set in stone, sometimes overpaying and at other times depriving themselves great offs over 500 baht
  4. reminded me my friend telling us about the week in resort in Caribbean and saying ' I did not even unwrap my soap " to everybody's laugh. She was perplexed until somebody explained to her that it sounded like she skipped on showering. next trip or extending current one. My tea tastes the same whether I use silver or aluminum teaspoon Boys in Pattaya can't complain about my tips because they get the same like their Bangkok friends even if we know Pattaya, tips included, is cheaper. But I admit I have weak spot when comes to hotels, I like big rooms and often I'm willing to pay premium for that. It's why any time I take both Furamas , Quarter Saladaeng, Raya or Baan Silom over Quarter Silom , Icon Styles or Amara.
  5. probably because too many of their current boys still hail from soi Twlight era but time did it's work on them. At least it was my impression when I last visited in May
  6. good your brought valid point - towels problem which may arise if we entertain more than one guest per day. In some hotels is easy to get extra one , some may charge for the privilege ( I think Raya does) but definitely we need to take it into consideration. Few times I resorted even to going to the market and buying one or taking extra one from home. Got my lesson few trips ago when Grindr guy visiting in day time was bit offended when I presented him with towel which was obviously used previously (by me). ...... In Senso used to me guy nicked M, we had great chemistry and on top of his good looks and excellent massage skills I liked him for exactly the same reason, he reminded me , including voice, my childhood friend ( just friend )
  7. Tons of temples to visit within old city walls, trip up to Doi Suthep definitely worth it. I was there few days in December 2021 and liked it. Can recommend Viangbua Mansion , just steps from Adam's Apple go-go. Very spacious rooms with the views.
  8. still has enough of them to keep me occupied and my wallet emptied for couple weeks every year ( 7 weeks, 3 trips so far in 2023 )
  9. in Pattaya you may find some in BoyzBoyBoyz bar in Boyztown. In Bangkok don't forget about Moonlight and Jupiter, not just Tawan. No idea about other places you mentioned, others may say something but I'd say if you want pyramids , go to Egypt or Mexico, not Turkmenistan. You interested in churches, go to Europe, Ethiopia or Latin America , not Laos or Saudi Arabia. You like muscles , stay in Bangkok and forget about Hat Yai or Hua Hin.
  10. while your list is accurate and comprehensive readers need to be aware that you more or less resident there so your options are much wider than somebody on 1-4 weeks vacations. Simply you had enough time to spread the net. Having a limit is great idea as prevents overheating, specially if somebody is there for first time or after long absence or just a bit drunk.
  11. that's outright blasphemy and I'm not big fan of Jomtien Complex. Still with so many bars and massages chances you find somebody you like are overwhelming. Heed forky's advice above and just go and at least have a walk.
  12. that's while ago, to put things in perspective , that year soi Twilight was still in full swing, Hero and Babylon were crowns of gay entertainment, Good Boys were gracing Sunee Plaza and Madrid Tavern was still in Patpong 1
  13. I do play the same numbers from January 1990 without any hope of winning but some people do and I still keep on my desk photo of my clients who won big back in early 90-ties. Another client of my office before I joined there was part of group of restaurant employees who won really big but since it was split among 30 odd people her share was enough to buy a house but not enough to stop working. My third brush with rich and famous was client of grocery store I used to shop before they closed. manager showed me her and said " she is wife of guy who won big and was in yesterday's paper". My personal best since 1990 was equivalent of about 2000 Baht but it was in days when 1000 baht was good ST tip.
  14. I doubt I'd spend money on such unnecessary luxuries even if I won big. Perhaps for 1 night just to know how rich people flush toilets and brush their teeth. Most trips I spend 1-3 night in something I consider more luxurious and while I like experiences, difference in price is definitely NOT compensated by difference in quality. At least 3 more Bangkok hotels should be on that list : Le Siam, Furama Sathorn and Baan Silom
  15. I have 4 different guides to Thailand by different publishers , oldest from 2001, most recent from 2019 and none of them mentions the site . No winder we were in dark. On another hand pictures in google maps are showing site is taken care of. Probably we need to ask ChristianPFC to undertake one if his sightseeing trips there so we are informed before hordes arrive.
  16. Yes and no, problems started yesterday. Before on explore mode I could contact only 3 guys but could see profiles of everybody.
  17. it appears that it opens first 3 profiles visited normal way before starts asking for subscription. May be all that it's just software update glitch I hope.
  18. Sad to hear that. I enjoyed coffee and chorizos and friendly hallos !!1 when just passing by. Staff was cute and owners friendly ( also cute while ago I'm sure). It was great meeting place, too bad it did not work I wish you luck with future endeavours, hopefully somewhere close and soon.
  19. because you have subscription already
  20. yes, I noticed it yesterday, I can open profiles and see the main picture but can't go any further. And no, I'm not going to pay for any subscription , I rather pay for drink in the bar.
  21. yes, I figured out it's not my business to report where other members are staying. late firecat, long time member here used to advise " walk in like you own the place " . In bigger hotels with big lobbies it's actually easy , in smaller places sometimes you just squeeze by reception but they tend to care less about guests of their guests. With just 10-20 rooms that better be occupied every night.
  22. don't even try to be purist, after all all tipping is bribing. After all people are getting extra money for just doing their job.
  23. while I agree I wouldn't cross out those better ones. Certainly nobody ever reported any problems with visitors at Crowne Plaza and Amara and member who recently stay in Le Meridien told me all they had to say when marching guest in was " good evening sir"
