  1. reader , I reposted your valuable answer here because originally it looked as part of Dradens question. Hope you don't mind Sort by "LATEST ATTENDANCE" and those who have made themselves available to work should pop first, followed by those who have last done so in descending order. Those who appear toward end of list may have stopped working. Shop has culled some who no longer answer calls or just moved on. I've had best success by choosing guys on first 7-10 pages search results. When messaging a parlor, is it customary to do it in English or should I message them using a translation app? Suggest you translate first with guy's number, time you plan to arrive and massage duration time. As Stijntje says above, do this at least a few hours before on the same day. Bear in mind that many of these same guys also work for KK Massage down the road.
  2. I'm opposite , unless is snowing or raining cats and dogs I tell my guest ' you can leave shoes on' . Most do , some still remove, it usually depends of their own house custom. My friend Henry usually visits on last Saturday of the month and always removes his shoes before I protest. Why do I ? because I suspect his sock changing day is last Sunday of the month.
  3. I wish them luck. Certainly it will bring more traffic to the soi ( and more noise)
  4. wonder what really made him to go away. Strange practice to inform wide public before one's boss. It shows some cracks on top level of power
  5. I had bout of PF in early XXI century to a point that while alighting from train in Chicago , due to pain I collapsed on the platform. Solution- doctor prescribed one- custom made insoles and sugested another one - wear original Birkenstock sandals. Both worked to a point of being distant memory even if I walk around the house barefooted.
  6. when we are invited and accept it we need to obey whatever house rules are. When invited to new place we also need to anticipate that some of the rules maybe weird to us. So I guess an advice you put above is very sound one. If house rules are bothersome to us , right thing will be to decline an invitation or at least address it with host well in advance.
  7. where I was born there is handy saying "old love never gets rusty"
  8. Bangkok got bit more expensive but mostly in more "upscale" bars some boys may ask for inflated tip , say 2000 where 1500 was norm or 2500 up to 3000 instead of 2000. Tips in massages are rather the same . Soi6, Silom and Suriwong are your friends and Saphan Kwai /Suthisan area where min tip oscillate between 800 and 1000 . As for "sexy twinks " what that really means ? The same guy may cause sudden erection in one and screaming run away in another one. Thailand and all SE Asian are not areas with shortage of sexy twinks
  9. while wholeheartedly I agree with Thailand top position, rest is bit questionable - relatively low place of India or Italy with relation to Greece, absence of Mexico , USA , Spain , France , Turkey and UK and prominent position of Emirates makes me wonder. Truth is , always those types of rankings produce results questionable results. Me and my travelling friends often recall similar ranking from one of luxury travel magazines in early 90 ties when Palm Springs California came on top of most desired cities to visit leaving in the dust behind Paris, Rome , Rio, Tokyo, NY and all other worthies including St.Olaf, MN
  10. I think both variants are operating i.e all the way from Jomtien to Naklua and Beach rd loop. Last trip I boarder one at soi Post Office thinking it will take me to Jomtien but it turned left on Second Road and terminated there. To be sure it's better to look for signs 'Naklua" or "Jomtien" on the vehicle
  11. Good to know boys are still on the market so to speak. As for better days, it goes without saying , without bar to facilitate meetings with clients it must be much harder to get some business. Not everybody is keen on hooking with guys on the street. Not sure about other apps but I combed grindr few times and saw only one advertising there. As for opening at end of next month , question is : which is "next month" in that story. I wouldn't bank on it but will be happy to see I was wrong. that's very commendable and they deserve it.
  12. there's no such thing
  13. and it seems there are also blends of those as on few occasions on Beach Road I stopped baht bus going all the way to Jomtien without need to change and in opposite direction was able to catch one going from Jomtien all the way to Naklua
  14. yes
  15. Passengers are to be blamed. Instead of sitting home and tending gardens or just watching re-runs on TV they decided to travel inconveniencing airport personnel
  16. I can imagine , I just don't have the money
  17. the same way we ignore our lesser cousins
  18. reminds me my visit in Ulu Watu temple on southern tip of Bali, another monkey infested place . All my time there I kept one of my hands on my glasses
  19. most of us tourists anywhere are never part of local market. I'm always amazed how few farangs in comparison with sidewalks of Silom I see in Silom market in soi 10 and it only steps from Silom itself.
  20. I never been there so have question - with those hordes it's even possible to visit those ruins or only marvel at them from the distance. I can imagine monkey's poo may be substantial obstacle to wander freely too.
  21. impression of my recent ( and a first at the same time ) visit there was that inconvenience was compensated by overcharging.
  22. Jason, don't you understand some people are shy😃
  23. Oh, yes, indeed shy ! I find it hard to believe, lol Great and engaging report !
  24. yes and no since we always deal with two markets , local and domestic If in our country, say an apple , cost 1$ and we go to Lesotho where the same may sell for 10 cents but shrewd seller quotes us 20 cents and we go for it two things happened at once, both true : 1/ we got ripped off, overpaying twice, ouch ! 2/ we got what we wanted for 1/5 of home value. Halleluiah ! is up to us how we go about that , whine or smile
