  1. agree on both counts
  2. Maxi is my place for schnitzel served with mushroom sauce. Madrid is best for pizza, several kinds , all on thin crust. Chicken with cashew nuts , my favorite Thai dish I like the best in Oasis on Suriwong, just before Tarntawan hotel. Foodland is not fancy place but they have good deal on breakfast and dozen or so bar guys I invited there over years all liked their Thai foods as well. No need for menu in street stalls - just point what you want , cross yourself just in case ( just kidding ) and eat. Late at night at Thainya you may find yourself eating at one of those makeshift stalls in company of bar girls and boys so you may not return to your hotel alone.
  3. welcome to the forum. Magic Touch is in soi Ngaham Duplee on way to Malaysia Hotel so close to Lumpini station not Sam Yan which is handy for soi Twilight with Bangkok Massage there. Go for Arena if you ask me. Quality of massage and fun related depends more on masseur himself than venue he is working at. You may heavenly experience in shabby place and crappy in classy one. If you picking up masseur, make sure you go for one which shows some interest in you -smile , eye contact etc.
  4. not in that , obviously forced, situation
  5. not that they are exactly teenagers and thanks God for this
  6. Mekhin has probably his best days behind him as clock is ticking but for somebody of star quality he is surprisingly pleasant and attitude free, one of very few Jupiter boys who know what smile is
  7. I still must repeat that I never had anything missing from my room and don't have any fears I will in Thailand. I almost always have boys long time so obviously at one point I fell asleep hiving them that extra chance but no, nothing. On few occasions I left boys alone in the room, same, same. They may be sometimes cutting me on service or time but never ever on their honesty. It's why I'm vigilant but relaxed at the same time. Always try to to lead them into temptation but if I notice that I left some money in the open I leave it there rather then trying to hide it and embarrass guy who is with me. One of charms of Thailand for me- never need to watch my back.
  8. that's disgusting
  9. take advantage of low season and negotiate more user friendly rate. On his best days Tiger may prove his worth. I have soft spot for him - for me he was best off of my Dec 2015 trip, my best ever. Unfortunately not all his days are his best , LOL
  10. no, go to the airport and fly to see that tree
  11. as you noticed , it's highly unlikely although not impossible and not unheard of ( although I have some doubts about credibility of some theft stories we hear here and there, I carry life long scar of being accused of theft as a first-grader, that's why). There are few ways of dealing with the issue : 1. just forget about your insecurity , go , shower , return to cubicle and be happy or 2.as you suggested , take all valuables in plastic bag with you / actually it was once suggested to me by guy in now defunct Playboy massage on Silom / or 3. patronize places where shower is in the room / Arena, Senso, Prime, My Hero, Copa , Ambience, Body Club, VClub, some rooms in Nakarat. /. or 4.try to entice boy to shower with you before and after although that will not prevent third party to enter room or 5.if your hotel is nearby leave everything in the room, take with you only as much as you think you may need plus, say 500 baht for unforeseen extras, then return to your hotel and continue with your chores. My favorite and always practiced course of action is 1. although often is just enhanced by 4.
  12. good to know we were useful. There's no such universal thing as attractive bar or guys. What one finds attractive , another one may run away screaming. The same with politicians by the way.
  13. as much for them as for us and obviously we don't mind , why girls should?
  14. They all look great above but as far as I'm concerned , all look much better in the flesh. As for zombie dress for Halloween party - it's idea wasted on those guys who look much better undressed than dressed ( about three I can state that with certainty ) as anybody and anything, never mind zombie.
  15. I'd rather have all that money neatly tucked in my money belt.
  16. that is more for their owners an managers than for us although we can help , among other things by contributing to various fora. But in that business sometimes keeping low profile may help to extend longevity.
  17. as long as those guys tell up front what they are or aren't up to this is no problem. Moonlight, like others are boy bars not gay bars. But my advice for myself and everybody else would be talk to the boy in question directly and find out from him. Miracles happen, money speak as well.
  18. That is the good point and we can only hope that soi will follow Moonlight example. On another hand BoyzBoyzBoyz Pattaya have warning ' 1 drink 1 show ' to prevent freeloaders from overstaying their welcome I guess
  19. I can't see what good can be achieved by breaking up soi Twilight. Nobody is arm twisted to frequent is , even less to buy drinks. Sure they may be expensive for some but nobody is suggesting Silom Centre or Siam Paragon should close because merchandise and restaurants there are expensive.
  20. go today and let us know how you like it

I don't discriminate between bars, have my preferences but there's no bar I'd would not be interested to enter. Not only I was in classic few times but I also offed from there so sure I can say word or two. I like their boys , they are just mostly not my type
  22. surprisingly perhpas , out of 5 times I ever arrived at DMK / Don Muang / I took train to Hualampong for 5 baht 3 times, not to save money but because I like trains on subject of pre-arranged taxi , while I see some merit I think it adds unnecessary level of complexity as taxis in Thailand are abundant and relatively cheap so when I need one, I just hail one passing by or even better , unloading passenger where I'm standing. If they refuse to use meter if offer is reasonable and I'm in rush sometimes I accept but usually I say no, thank you and try next one, in 7-18 seconds it should show in the distance. No , I don't have any horror stories about taxis there, may be I'm looking as one carrying a gun so they don't start with me, who knows ?

he just did and you can sleep well, Vinapu is not short of self esteem and understands that different people may have different interests and opinions . While I can discuss merits of hunks from those bars mentioned to no end , switch to twinks from Classic vs. XBoys and I rather watch paint dry so I got your point. I found that linguistic discussion above interesting and enlightening as well and don't see any problem with thread being bit derailed as subject of speaking or not language certainly can weigh heavily on decision of living in other country. Speaking from first hand experience , believe me. If I was speaking Thai I certainly wouldn't admit it to bar and massage boys as this could be secret weapon - understanding what they are saying without them knowing that. And don't assume they say bad things - at least on two occasions, at Arena and Tawan , boys not keen to go with me long time changed their mind after their colleague told them something and chances are it was not something unpleasant about me.

it must be true, my father used to say ' now when somebody says 'take it ' I can hear but when they say ' give me' I seem to be getting deaf '
  25. actually after sitting for 10 hours I'm pretty sure your muscles could use 1/2 hr standing
