This trip , my 18th was a bit experimental. Most my trips to Thailand were short ones but always in connection with visiting other countries in neighborhood or on my way somewhere further away. Never flew that far just to be in Thailand for 1 week only and return home . Due to few factors I decided to try such foray this October, chalking that month off as well as it was my first Thai visit in October. It leaves me only 6 months to cover –Jan-Apr and Jun / Aug. Schedule co-operated to optimize my time as I could leave hometown just past midnight and return in the evening. And since trip is over I must say , surprisingly perhaps for me as I considered this idiocy, it worked , chances are I will repeat the feast in the future. Not most efficient use of money, that’s sure but as long as airfares will be reasonable it’s not only doable but turned out not being so tiring as I suspected ( jet lags are killing me more and more as I age but long flight seem to be shorter and shorter at the same time). First time I took Taiwanese Eva air and have only good things to say. We landed in Taipei 4 am so with outbound flight at 9 it gave me plenty of time to explore airport which is very unimpressive from outside but interior in places looks more like exhibition hall than airport. It was kind of fun to see how crowds are getting denser and denser but first 2 hours it felt I had terminal to myself. Leaving was much less fun as we were stuck on taxiway for 90 minutes waiting in long line of planes ready to take off . I feel sorry for claustrophobic in that situation but I had been in worse – 4 hrs in Chicago several years ago – very high wind stopped all traffic. Arriving at noon was breeze and this is how my day 1 started. Short immigration lines, exchanging money in one of railway station booths – best rates I saw that week everywhere, train to BTS Phaya Thai, then to Sala Daeng and short walk to soi 3 to Baan Silom . I did few stupid things this trip and at one point I realized that I have on me only cash , no back up plastic which inconveniently was left on my desk at home. So I said ‘ vinapu, now short class on fiscal discipline’ But I said it loudly enough for my Guardian Angel to overhear my quiet resignation and as it turned out , help was there. I just commented in one of threads that I don’t keep in touch with my boys but I do with friends in real life and one of them happened to be in Bangkok on business . I’m telling you , it’s hard to be atheist those days. Not that I’d be starving but certainly my certain activities would be curtailed quite a bit specially that as we learn very soon I left fiscal worries for following days intended to live my first one to the full . Baan Silom assigned me different room this time with less sizable washroom and safe and closet actually in the room not washroom like last time and again I can recommend it as it’s quiet location only short walk from mayhem of Silom and rooms are of very good size and well maintained and appointed. After decontamination / 29 hrs on the road door to door / I did walk around Silom if only to learn about my first disappointment – Art from Nakarat massage , shining start of my June visit went home . Then walk to Senso found place , recently damaged by falling construction crane , bolted and abandoned meaning of that that I will not see M and that’s the guy I have more chemistry with than probably anybody else from my semi-regulars. As I had Prince on the schedule for this trip I went straight there. To calm my nerves I bought an ice cream which I finished sitting outside beside quite a hunky and tattooed guy who had his smoke. We finished at the same time , went inside and I just pretended to a while to ponder my choices, no too long as place was busy with at least 5 other clients and I ask mamasan to point to that guy. For 1.5 hr , 1000 baht session. He warned me he may be tired as I’m his 3rd customer toady / it was only 6 pm ! / but I told him same same here. Quite possibly guy was tired as he did not seem particularly keen but I told him up front that I know he is tired and not to worry , I like you, he smiled , I smiled and we went to one of outside rooms after paying my fee. Vietnamese, his name is Fibre, massage was very good although , since we had 90 minutes we started somewhat non-standard with several minutes of quiet and soothing embrace. That improved things greatly , energized both of us / jet lag / and he mutilated me with gusto, building good foundation for a night ahead. Minimum tip of 1500 increased by 500 , for a good start, well deserved. Poor boy , when we were about to leave he got call from mamasan that he may have somebody else for him, talking about harvest ! Anyways , fully recommended, not trying any shortcuts on service or time and it needs to be said loudly, my first memorable massage at Prince ever. day 1 to be continued

I'd be waiting for your impression as in my opinion , other than location , Jupiter 2000 and Moonlight have nothing in common and completely different vibe. Chances are that I support your opinion about Jupiter 2000 fully, I liked bar and looks of their boys but never had any good luck with them, Fortunately can't say the same about Moonlight- 4 off and all worth a trouble and definitely none of ofees was time watcher - serious affliction of former Jupiter boys I was dealing with. so extrapolation of old Jupiter experience to Moonlight may be misplaced IMNSHO

100 % agree with what you say. My point is that in order to discuss beauty of Himalayas or view from Eiffel tower is better to prepare ourselves by visiting respectively Nepal or/ and China and Paris first. Nothing more , nothing less.

what you need is to go and see for yourself and only then opine about excessive pretense and shortage of reality. I wish I was smart enough to even understand what your comment really means.

I'm under impression that some of us like to analyze that model phenomena at Moonlight to death. Don't worry about how they make their money, what they do apart from bar work, just go , order a drink and enjoy the eye candy. If inclined so invite them to sit with you and even if more inclined take them off . What is important is that they look great and seem to be friendly and approachable . Show is good too and not entirely repetitive and for budget oriented regular go-gos are mostly of first quality as well. Certainly somebody takes good care about employee selection there.

what I mean is that some of those models may be picky about being offed at all. Aparently they are well paid by the bar and may not be that interested in going out. It's said that Babe goes only on the whim, others may too. If Nicky is picky about his customers that's thrilling for me and boosting my self -esteem, not that I need much of it, LOL. Other than expensive he was very pleasant and patient company on both occasions. Certainly neither boy made impression that he was picky and made me favor by going with me. That would stop encounter right there. But perhaps my good heart shows ? No , after I offed Tam from Boy66 , on my next visit he did not even recognized me ,even if he was sitting with client right beside me . This time I saw him only once , on the first night and did not make impression he remembers me when passing by.

he is not only gorgeous but best dancer and acrobat in Moonlight. No need to go to Nepal , he can be admired night after night in his bar. If only I knew he was Nepalese , I'd greet him properly with 'namaste" to extract one more smile. Not sure about his offability as he was sitting with quite plump Chinese looking lady when not on the stage.

While I have my share of regulars I don't exchange any contacts with boys and relay only on good luck to meet them again. I don't want any degree of commitments neither on boy's nor mine side. Two times when I shared contact it finished badly , with request for loan and hiss fits when I offed other boy from bar. I rather spend my time and energy keeping in touch with my real life friends , not a guys half or 1/3 my age who likely would not be interested in me and rightly so if I did not pay them. While I enjoy my times in Thailand immensely , illusions are not part of that enjoyment. I'm fully committed to renting my love in Thailand and don't expect anything else from guys than keeping their side of bargain. I don't want them to have any hope they may have any future with me because I know very well it will not work

who is supposed to forget ? Hope you did not mean me? For whom I'm expensive ? I offed Nicky on my first and last night on my recent trip last week. Expensive , yes. Going with six pack customers, sure but there are exceptions. One of them is obviously named vinapu. To off him first time I made a move but next time I was in bar few days later , it was actually him who found me and made himself available for embrace. This repeated next night resulting in second , haste to say cheaper as well, off. He may be picky but somehow he found me worthwhile of his time. Same same here .LOL

keep in mind that Toy Boys may have boys up front working as the bait only to entice you in but they are going only with girls I was told on occasion. I have my firm preference for older and better built guys but make a point of visiting as many bars as I can without discriminating. And world , despite my preferences, saw me many times sitting and even marching with twinks. Nothing wrong to stick even to one bar - I had a trip when I was on Tawan mono diet for 2 weeks but better is to expand one's horizons.

Thank you so listen to this piece of advice - don't be dogmatic and don't employ any preconceived notions just based of what we say here, go and check for yourself. We have our own habits and expectations which necessarily you must share and / or care about. Make sure to check Jupiter if only for boy's looks, almost all first grade in the looks department.

And this is what may make boys a bit too confident of themselves. I also don't like their practice of reserving seats for preferred customers, perhaps they should convert to private club with those practices. For me Moonlight so far is more enjoyable option.

I agree with you, yes Moonlight guys seem to be much more accessible and personable than still aloof Jupiter guy who start smiling only in Jun. I may be biased but other than Tawan transplants Mekhin and Oud I don't recall satisfying offs from Jupiter. But as I said , there are signs it may be changing.

My first off in my June trip was long time with # 27 from Moonlight, so answer us yes. As for models I did not try to ask with those prices but tried to get an extension from Fluke but he declined - has day job he told me.

Terry you are working overtime to depress yourself, look for boys , not for missing bars and their owners. you did not spent airfare money to mourn the past? did you ?
