Hitler and Stalin would be happy to have such a tool at their disposal
-
comment is bit rude but unfortunately you are right

the same here , no filtering but somehow , I wonder why , Lao boys seem to be over represented among my best and multiple offs and thanks God and Lao parents for that

stick to Bangkok, plenty Vietnamese there, somehow not so in Pattaya
-
nothing surprising considering hostile area they are in. My experience is the same - entry was easy but full interrogation on departure, why you came, where you have been etc questions. Mentioning that I visited Hebron in occupied territorries warranted even more questions but at least all was very polite and habit of travelling lightly came vary handy, LOL

you would be happy there, don't worry about multiple guests , been there , done that, nobody blinked an eye when I had two boys in tow to help me to celebrate birthday. Japanese golfers sometimes go down for breakfast with boys too, not just with girls.

My first long trip to BKK with special thanks to people of this forum.
vinapu replied to newscene's topic in Gay Thailand
I was worried that all those tipping lectures here pissed you off and you decided to abandon us and I'm very happy I was so wrong. Good news you made up with V, everybody deserves second chance it seems. Sure , giving him less than previously would invite some hard feeling so you did right thing although on few occasions I tipped the same boy differently but always some explanation was included, usually time related. Reading about your adventures today made me home sick for Bangkok, winter blues I guess, LOL- 103 replies

I don't find Russians more rude or pushy than others, what I find lacking though, it's smile. Now I start wondering if that may also be a case with Vietnamese. Certainly I don't recall any bad experience with Viet boys but somehow I offed them very rarely and certainly not because some prejudices. Reason for that may be lack of smile as my rule nr. 1 is - engage boy who is smiling at you only

just go and see what happens. you can change booked boy but both of you will feel a bit awkward if you book boy A and once inside you exclaim ", can I have boy B instead " Massage price and minimum tip will be about only default information you receive. Any special requirements - you need to ask, don't be shy , they saw and heard it all and more. as Thai boy say 'don't think too much ', just try it and you will like it.

we need to ask ChristianPFC who I believe lives in the area to go and taste it for us

Good news about USA and Canada is, on departure one doesn't go through and sort of formalities other than luggage security check
-
as I mentioned in another thread not long ago - arguing with people with power is like kissing lion's ass - doubtful pleasure but big danger but as survivor of two car crashes and eye witness of two coup d'etats I'm brave enough to try again, LOL First , contrary to what you think , I do and do very well, even more , my statistic sample contains more than one country in " my own" capacity. Second, I have no idea why you brought Canada to discussion as nowhere in my post I compared US entry to that of other countries, including Canada, I was tempted to bring former USSR into equation but left it out to avoid shaming USA even more. Third , I clearly said that FOR ME American border in least pleasant to cross, carefully avoiding any generalizations. Certainly leader of free world should not take any pride in having border procedures comparable to that of third world dictatorship , no matter what excused will be used. I will continue visiting USA as all my American friends know since I promised to attend their funerals although not necessarily before that. Reason I'm so tickled with USA border procedures is exactly that, going to funeral in full regalia, black suit tie etc border officials found it necessary to ask me with whom I'm living and if my home is rented or owned. I'm kidding you not.

good for you that you can but this option may be limited for some , either due to earning power or self imposed budgetary discipline
-
right or wrong neither us nor Trump should forget that he did not come to power by force or manipulation but was freely elected by millions. As for fewer people wanting to visit USA , since I'm one of them I can say that in my case current president has nothing to do with my reluctance - behavior of officials on the border is a culprit. Having visiting many , many countries over life of travel since times of certain G.W. for me American border is positively least pleasant to cross. My apologies to all our American friends here on the forum but this is how I feel

you got it right, I never had boy in Thailand who was time watcher. At times they wanted to go as soon as possible , presumably bored with me or trying to return to bar get another off that night but never ever boy used line ' o, is already 2 hours and you said short time so I need to go " an like. Few times when I extended time and paid for it it was on my initiative , never boy's. I massage places it may be different as usually there are more boys than rooms so obviously they are ordered to watch time

40% is difference between best and worst rate in my 16 trips all this begs question : what offing strategy you will have if you find out that your purchasing power is diminishing due to fall in exchange? 1. shorten your vacations, skimp on other expenses / cheaper hotel etc / but maintain the same level of offs and tips or 2. off less often but tip the same or 3. try to partially offload your burden by reducing tips and bargaining harder to get the best rate ( before screaming starts- all assuming that boys still agree and accept, doable ) to answer my own question I'd take point 1

BLUE HOUSE beside TukCom had it, I indulged to one once but now place is re-named and not sure if they still offer it

I'm pretty sure that geniuses who blame soap massages for sinking Bangkok shortly will invent water which is less wet and thus not depleting aquifers that fast

stop reading such nonsense after the tittle and first sentence

work like any other but less dust

to avoid locking topic and stick to a tittle of this thread by sheer coincidence on Nov 14th I was thinking about issue you are rising and came to idea that is nothing wrong with frugality and even being addicted to it. After all it's our money, hard earned or luckily stolen without being caught. What I oppose is thinking that being frugal makes us somewhat better and smarter than others , namely freer spenders and accusing them of spoiling market by their profligacy. I just like to defend right of those who feel so , like me , to have vacation time free of worries , money worries included. In particular so if vacation time includes Nov 14 and visiting Screwboys bar on that day to make sure we stay on topic name in the thread's tittle.

bu June of what year? 2022 or 2027 ? they should be more specific IMHO Hopefully by that time toilets will be upgraded. Whole thing is another example of digital lunacy, pee under the tree but you can pay for that with your phone

nobody suggested otherwise but discussion above is very useful just to show what we need to watch, exchange rates and transaction fees feature prominently in those calculations. Sometimes my not be fees to pay but rate may be poorer than on cash exchange, for some it may be more advisable to buy domestically USD and exchange them into Thai baht / my case, although difference is narrowing to almost nil / , others may find most efficient to change their domestic currency direct . Even place when we exchange money may make quite q difference if amount is substantial.

very wise, I learned my lesson once when I just picked up boy hoping that another boy I already had in my room will like him as much as I do. It did not work intended way at all and I guess all 3 of us were bit disappointed
