Food hunting, and if you are up for day trips, i highly recommend the weekend train to kanchanaburi, maeklong train market with amphawa floating market, ayutthaya. In bangkok itself, the new mall iconsiam would be great too. Some night, i like to go to jazz bar, or other thai bars that have live show. U can google the highly rated one from the many review sites to have some ideas.

Yup. As z909 pointed out, we arent staying in bangkok, but having experience super long queue at certain stations to buy tickets, i can certainly see the appeal of not having to queue. However, if ill be using more than 4 times (average of 40baht per ride) id be buying the unlimited daily card instead for 140, while rabbit card provided no discount afaik.

I had that done to me, change with lots of coins, in old freshboys. Being an avid user of bts, i need those changes in coins lol

Ergh, you got ripped off left and right. I always use grab. If im in need of taxi, always insist on meter, and take taxi that are noving on the road instead of those parking waiting for customer. For tuktuk, i avoid them in silom all the time. Ive used motosai in pattaya, but not in bangkok but generally, try to get motorsai from their stations, which usually have many motorsai waiting and a signboard with bunch of locations with fares, unfortunately in thai. Image below might help. Always insist on setting the price upfront and always have the exact amount. Bts station is a great place to exchange smaller bills.

I first notice some bars also charges differently on alcoholic drink like beer, soda, and water in toyboys. If you just take bottle water, its cheaper but still not by much. Cant recall exactly how much, it could be 220 for water bottle, and 280 for beer.

But trump, with all his previous mishaps and blatant lie still gets to be president. So yeah while worrying about the future might help you to be calm and relax thinking u did the right thing, no one knows what the future will be, or even if you will be there, still alive or not. Those in chartubates, work there, even though they study in the U, because they need the money to pay for the U. For them, thats the only and perhaps quicker way to get money to make sure they can escape that kind of life in the near future. And i still believe, if they are willing to take the risk of being in chartubate, exposing their face/identity, they know what risk that will brings already though like you pointed out, maybe not to the extent of running for the office risk.

High school in Taiwan allows boys to wear skirts
spoon replied to TotallyOz's topic in Gay China, Taiwan, Hong Kong & Macau
Believe it or not, many countries are getting there, the people are, not the government unfortunately. Religions being one of the main reason, mainly being used by political party to gain support. Though honestly it is more of a political move or rather inaction, as the politician still thinks the majority of the people are not accepting lgbt community, so they rather not fix whats not broken. Once they see the majority of the people shows acceptance towards lgbt, change in government can happen very quickly. Taiwan first held the gay pride in 2003 and it took them 16 years to legalize same sex marriage. To be fair, many lgbt in asian country are still closeted, and prefer to be so due to so many reasons. Gay activists here in malaysia are still fighting against discrimination, physical abuse and draconian laws that criminalized lgbtq. That being said, we have celebrities, instafamous, models that are crossdressing, trans, and looked very gay and have no issues with the police here. -
Yup, not the mini series signed on april. This one as shown above is a 52min documentary titled Thai cave rescue.

It is available to view now.

What's you favorite stopover city to/from Thailand?
spoon replied to AlexThompson's topic in Gay Thailand
I have lots of love for tokyo mostly for their unique and futuristic city. Ive never been to taipei, but it is in my list of places to go to as well. I guess value wise, taipei should be cheaper than tokyo. -

I havent had this issue yet, but some boy that i really like, its me who ask the boy if i can take his picture. I only took picture of one boy really, of which, to my delight, he is ok with it. And its not a picture of me and him but rather him alone, no face. I showed the picture i took of him and it is only for my collection. And not during the action though.

I can vouch most south east asian dont like to walk as a mode of transportation. It doesnt means they cant, they just dont prefer it. Other than time consuming, walking in the city isnt exactly fun, with exhaust fumes and pollution, and we tend to sweat even for short walk due to humidity and weather. Trekking in the jungle is a different story altogether, so is walking inside shopping mall for hours lol.

I have never used food delivery in thailand, but have used it religiously here in KL. We also have honestbee here and also received noticed of their suspension, and turns out they have cash issues and still owes some food outlet money. There are few more options here, grabfood, foodpanda, delivereats for food delivery. But i also used dahmakan (literally means finished eating) which is a delivery-only food outlet created by few chefs. They served unique and healthy food but also have cheaper menu as well. They have thai brand called polpa by dahmakan. Whats great about this is they have subscription where u buy certain amount of prepaid meals for a discount. Their premium and healthy option has always been great in taste, the cheaper ones are usully hit and miss for me.

Thai English - favourite Tinglish words and expressions
spoon replied to joshhb's topic in Gay Thailand
I believe is is just two words mixed up. My friend is the phrase used for friend. You refer to "your" possessvie. Also the order used for adjective/possive is after the noun, not before like english. Similar in malay, beautiful lady is perempuan cantik, perempuan (lady), cantik (beautiful). So your friend = my friend you. -

Or lady is probably already. Grss can mean glass, but its a weird thing to ask through sms. Knowing what kind of business is it might help. -
This point is definitely a very positive change, and i hope itll continue to be. Wish the same can be said for the rest of the world too.

Some boy says u take care of me, pretty sure an invitation to make you his boyfriend? Or daddy, whatever works hehe. It could turn to a serious thing i suppose, at least thats how i see it. Its one of the thing you probablh need to talk it with the boy coz only he can tell you the truth. It could mean various thing, from the truly i like you and want to be your bf, so you better not go find other boys, or he already made enough money off you and feel guilty to take more money, or simply what u just said, he figured out that doing that will earn him more money in the long run.
