Tonight plan is to finally visit Abomb and see the show and the boys. Its about 10pm when enter Xboys and its a full house, with lots of regulars, friends of owners, and owners from other bars coming to visit and celebrate Xboys party. There is a french guy hosting the event, and when i enter, there are in the middle of pulling out numbers for lucky draws. Prizes range from 100 baht discount in one of the bars or karaoke bars in pattaya, to a bottle of whiskey, and even fancy dinner in some Jomtien restaurant. Shows starts 15min after 10pm, and tonight they have 3 shows, 2 more at 1130pm, and another 1.15am. Not sure if they have similar time and number of show everynight or just for this anniversary, but i know they do have at least 2 shows other days previously. I ended up staying for all the shows, and got a lucky draw as well lol. I can honestly say their shows improved a lot compared to last year. I can attest that rio food is lame and expensive especially those beach-facing restaurant along copacabana and ipanema beach. Ive tried the downtown restaurants too but its all the same, albeit less expensive. Safety is a concern if you venture out of the normal tourist area and past certain hours, which is not at all a concern in thailand. Hotels is cheaper in thailand, value for money wise too, as u can get 5 stars hotel near all the action for usd 100 or so. This is true for most of south east asian country minus singapore of course. Ive only been to rio, but hotel prices along the beach are way too expensive for same quality same size room compared to bangkok. And brazil inflation is a bit crazy and unpredictable too, so go when its cheap like now.

I was quoted 3k ST by mamasan in BBB during christmas time and when countered with 2k, boy immediately say yes. So its not a fixed price. I rarely asked mamasan prices though, prefer to ask boy directly, and very understandbly, different boy have different quotes though very rarely outside acceptable range.

For the first class airconditioned train (~400 baht), i dont think u need to reserve early. The cheaper class 3 one definitely worth booking early. When i went there before for 2 night visit, i managed to get the class 3 going there walk in but had to take the second train. But going back from hua hin, only the aircon car is available, so we bought it together there. Any other suggestion would be pattaya and ferry to hua hin? But only if pattaya is within the itinerary, otherwise, might not justify the extra hours travelling by bus to pattaya, then to the pier for ferry. May want to also check the timetable for the ferry.

We each had some song requested but my first english song requested was not known to either singer, so does at least 5 other songs i suggested, so i change my request to a thai song i really like, made famous by the mask singer oyster, by being the most watch youtube video in the world for the year 2017. English title is "Until we become dust". And poppy sings the songs flawlessly! And lots of the waiters and boys also knows the song and it suddenly becomes almost like a private concert hehe. I guess i need to start finding more thai song to like after this. My guy did excuse himself to smoke outside at some point. Anyway, its time for me to leave the bar and back to hotel, this time we took a taxi. Back at hotel, i found out why he can do LT tonight, as he said his BF is back in his home country. Session was as good as i remember and of course LT was great too. However, around 6am or so, he asked if he can leave early, saying he couldnt sleep. He did stay quite long and i am in such a good mood that although i wish he couldve stayed for the breakfast, I dont mind him leaving soon. There is another reason why im not as mad but ill leave that for my next day reporting. 3 night in bangkok, 3 LT, all are repeat, 2 from last trip in Aug, but one was from last year trip.

I can see male customers in some of the videos so i guess they wont turn away paying customers. Maybe boys there wont go with guys? Or maybe most wont but some might?
