When I saw the title -Hua Hin Jazz Festival - I was hoping it was a typo!

There is one Thai restaurant (I forget the name, but it's just down from Harrods Tearoom) where you can sit outside on the deck. When in Bangkok I often just go there every evening and work my way through the extensive menu. After your meal wander over to the nearby Gourmet Market and enjoy all the free samples on the far left of the store.

I once wandered into a Rolex shop in Bangkok. I was dressed for the climate in a pair of shorts and a short-sleeve shirt. I was wearing a pair of Nikes. There were more shop assistants than customers but I was completely ignored. No-one made eye contact me so after a while I asked for assistance.
