  1. Is the question about whether Thai men are faithful or whether men are faithful? Perhaps @floridarob should chime in. I think he has opinions on this subject.
  2. Some of these guys online are trying to attract people to their other platforms which are often paid. So not exactly a scam, but they are trying to make money through their content.
  3. I was wondering what the usual max Bhat withdrawal was at the ATM. I prefer to max withdrawals to minimize fees. I now have a couple of ATM cards that refund fees which is even better

Are you planning to go on retrovirals? I ask out of curiosity, since you did not previously want to go on PrEP which is the same class of medications.
  5. I wonder if SB did not want to sex at the massage shop based on principle. While others may pay him for sex, he may view himself as someone who doesn’t pay others for sex, because he doesn’t need to. Also, from a customer service point of view, he might not have wanted to compromise his later ability to perform with you who is paying for his services.
  6. Don’t apologize. This was an excellent trip report.
  7. I have been thinking about this situation which seems to come up often. These are my thoughts. It did not matter to Jimmy that Cam worked in a bar doing offs with customers when they met. I am not sure why it needs to matter going forward. All of the time that Jimmy spent with Cam has been paid for from what I can see. The relationship so far has been based on money even if emotions are now coming into the picture. It is still a transactional relationship. Projecting forward, the discussion continues to be about money. Sending possible money. Sponsorship. Putting conditions, such as no sex with customers based on money being paid. This would still constitute a paid relationship. Cam is not on an equal playing field financially with Jimmy and never will be. Jimmy is not on an equal playing field with Cam when it comes to youth and fitness (per Jimmy’s self reports). If this is going to be a paid relationship, what is so wrong with accepting it as such? It would simplify everything. Jimmy could accept that Cam is with him based on the money, even if they like each other. Cam can be free to live his life as he sees fit when Jimmy is not paying for his time. Perhaps the better gift that Jimmy can give to Cam (and himself) is freedom. Infatuation and obsession lead people to want to control or put limits on others (even if they might think they are saving or helping the other person). It is fueled by jealousy and insecurity. But accepting others and yourself for how and who they are is the path to contentment.
  8. I realize the MRT works with contactless credit cards. I would like to see the same for the BTS. Then the only people who would need Rabbit cards are people who qualify for discounts. Also the Airport Train works with contactless credit cards.
  9. I am hoping that the MRT and Skytrain can both be used with simple contactless credit card. They can have separate discount cards for people who qualify. That would be the most efficient way to do this, particularly when dealing with as many tourists as Bangkok sees.
  10. You could look at the Helsinki Bangkok flight with Finnair
  11. @mauRICE may claim to be “too innocent,” but his rather sound and sober advice demonstrate he is at the very least far from naive. Some of what you are hearing may come across as harsh, but I really do think these guys have your best interests in mind.
  12. I think that a single circle means that they will do it. A double circle means they are good (or very good) at it. An X means they will not do it.
  13. I have my doubts about that.
  14. On a purely selfish level, I’m disappointed. I have enjoyed your reports of your various adventures in Thailand. If you settle down, I suspect those may be curtailed. 😢 Wishing you well nonetheless.
  15. I think that switching airports only makes sense when the layover is long enough to get a hotel room and get some sleep in between.
  16. The woman was in her 60s, so not that old
  17. Many people get hung up on apologies and forgiveness. I am more a fan of letting go.
  18. A product or service is worth what someone is willing to pay. This is the essence of capitalism and is driven by supply and demand.
  19. If he is having trouble with rent, he might enjoy the money for rent and the coffee (and possible snack) as well.
  20. You can contact Kman Spa and other spas and ask about their out call options and have them massage in your hotel room. There is also Zeus Massage which is 100% outcall, but based on the hotels that they use, I would just have them come to your hotel room.
  21. If Vietnam does run out of jet fuel, I would guess that the airlines would be ahead of the curve on how close Vietnam was to that point. They would likely not fly a plane to a destination with a high likelihood that they would not be able to fly the plane out again.
  22. I think that Dale started out as a professional dancer.
