That is interesting. Thanks. I am always fascinated at how technology changes and why. I was talking with my Aunt yesterday and we were discussing when we got a new TV when I was a kid. It was a Zenith and about the size of a desk. We thought we were the luckiest people on earth. I went into her home yesterday and she now has an 80 inch plasma. Naturally, she is thrilled but it brought back the memories of me sitting in her house to watch Elvis's funeral on a small little TV screen.

I have been greatly disappointed with Detla as the cost to upgrade fares have risen dramatically. Ex: going to Brazil, they are asking 3600 and 60,000 miles. It is less to go to Thailand and twice the distance. I have never not been upgraded on a Delta USA flight. But, when traveling internationally, they suck the life out of your wallet.

I was watching an interview with Sully, the guy who landed the plane in the Hudson last year. He said he would not recommend the job to his kids as the airlines keep cutting the salary and the stress level keeps going higher. I think he said that there were many pilots now that have to hold 2nd jobs to be a pilot. That is nuts. If I were a pilot, I'd also go where the money is.

I had been looking at an apartment in LOS and it is a serviced building. But, the electricity is 6 baht per kilowatt. Is this expensive? Normal? I don't need a place until the end of the year but if I found what I wanted, I'll reserve it. I just thought this was a bit high.

It was a bit surprising to me but it made me think of my dear Jefferson in Rio. He was the most affectionate person on earth in clubs, bars, etc. When we were on the street, he said not to hold hands as there were many gay bashers in Rio. On the gay beach, he couldn't get enough attention but once we walked across the street, stoic.

Thanks for the heads up on the book. Malcom X has always been a fascination to me and I purchased this on Amazon Kindle for 12.00. It will make for an easy plane trip whenever I am able to leave my family and start traveling the world again.

I am in Texas right now and the majority of people here have lard asses (SUV's and Trucks). I can't imagine how much it cost to fund these babies. One friend has a 67 gallon extension tank. He said he filled up everything last week and it was 300. Can you imagine, that is like 1 hour with a hottie!

My family is full of vegetarians. They have been trying to get me over to the dark side for years. I have done it for a few weeks at a time but never lasted. Perhaps it is time to try again.
