I walk a lot in Bangkok, but for the distances you mention, I would uses bus or taxi. Do the headphones block sound from around? That could get you into dangerous situations, not hearing what goes on around you. I'm not sure if I understand that correctly, but a 100 Baht tip for 1 hour oil massage is at the very low end of expectations in tourist places. There are many Tesco Lotus around Bangkok, without specifying which once, this information has little value. R3 sauna is near Fortune Town shopping center (there is only one Fortune Town). I went to R3 on one such special event and found it highly annoying how they keep people waiting. Details here: http://christianpfc.blogspot.com/2014/12/r3-sauna-bangkok-ratchada.html Yes.

(my underline) An awkward and time consuming process which I had to endure once. The Royal Palace will not let you in in shorts and tank tops. In other temples, there is often a board with a note about polite dress, but I often see Thais in shorts, sometimes basecaps, so that does not seem to be a problem. I get sunburn easily, when I go out in daytime I use an umbrella or cover my body completely, even wear gloves. I look like one of these women in burka. I don't know how sensitive you are to second hand smoke, but I am. In Silom Soi 4 outside seating you will be subjected to a lot. Some gogo bars are non-smoking, others allow smoking. DJ station has smoking room. GOD allows smoking inside, and customers make ample use of it. Regarding street food: I was never able to trace my stomach problems to a particular place or dish I had, but reading on the forums, it seems to be rather the more expensive places that can have a hygiene problem. Checking on map, I have walked past many times. And as I like fish in lemon sauce (but only little chili), I will try it there some day.

Unfortunately, I don't know this boy. But you have my full support, and if you find him, please share!

Now that you say it, I have only seen stalls that offer either khao man gai or kha moo, but never both. Only this one experience. I will not try again on my own, maybe if someone with experience shows me where and how to eat it.
-
I thought Ka Moo ขาหมู is pig leg? I had it once (on a Khao Man Gai stall that had run out of chicken, on South Pattaya Wat Chai Market), and didn't like it at all, pure jelly-like fat.

Just when I thought I have figured it out, I got a slip with 100 Baht for 1-2-call in a 7/11 in Uthai Thani! Whereas elsewhere (see previous posts) I was told no slips at all or minimum 300 Baht.

Pure greediness by hotel management, fleecing some unsuspecting tourists. Similar charging guests for WiFi. Should not be supported. Same for displaying prices in menus in restaurant with a footnote that they are subjected to VAT and service charge. In civilized countries, such practices are outlawed. Another thing to look out for is minimum age. Malaysia hotel has introduced a minimum age of 20 years for guests to rooms (this is merely hotel policy, not based on any law), I don't know other hotels that have 20 years minimum age, but 18 years for obvious reasons. In Thai hotels, it does not seem to matter how many people you bring in. I had three cases (Pattani, Nakon Sawan, Uthai Thani) where I paid for a room with double bed, and three people slept in it. No questions from staff. I guess when the Thais travel, they will stay with a whole family in a room that is designed for two guests.

Tourist visa for Germans is 60 days, can be extended by 30 days at immigration for 1900 Baht. Visa free entry is 30 days for Germans. For Singaporeans, different durations for tourist visa and visa free entry might apply.
-
It's April 3rd already, you are late! Assuming your question is genuine, if you are here on a tourist visa, working in whichever form would break the law. Apart from that, try the host bars in Soi Twilight. Don't get involved in any physical work (serving drinks etc.), as a Singaporean, you would have good chances claiming you are a customer.

Chances of winning legal court case against money boy?
ChristianPFC replied to abidismaili's topic in Gay Thailand
I think nothing would happen. Compare taxis who refuse to use the meter, jet ski scams and many others. I have been tricked out of money various times by Thai boys. The amounts are not worth losing sleep over, and in some cases I learnt from my mistakes. I apply the following line of though to such cases: I had bad luck that a Thai boy got me in a weak moment or moment of misjudgment and got 500 Baht out of me; others have bad luck and die in a car crash. -

I guess the judge would feel the same (pity the boy and not the Farang). -
The boy Earth does not do tattoos at the moment.
-
Excuse my question, but why do you need a gay tailor? What's next? Gay electrician, gay plumber, gay car mechanic?

There is one opposite and one on the same side (jewelry and gemstones is their main business), past the Family Mart market at the corner. Both gave good rates whenever I used them. Their opening times are something like morning to 6 pm. Whenever I went to the bars, they were closed already.

Possible infection is due to lack of sterile materials, it does not depend on the method used (bamboo versus steel). His tattoo artist phase was a year or two ago. Don't know if he is still doing it. (I just asked him on hornet and will report back.)

Chances of winning legal court case against money boy?

April Fool's Day? In principle you are right, but I just imagined you* going to the next police station and bringing evidence and explaining your case, and once they understand, everyone is rolling on the floor with laughter! *You said it's not about you, but for brevity I will refer to you, replace by "someone" if you like. I think you wouldn't even get the case to court (unless you want to spend an extraordinary amount of money on everyone involved - after they had a good laugh!). The equivalent in Europe is not the case you cite, but going to police to report a jaywalker, and bringing your mother because she saw him too. If you are really interested, submit your question to stickmanweekly who will forward it to Sunbelt Asia's legal department who will give free advice. Robbery involves violence; the case you invent isn't stealing either, I would call it cheating or embezzlement or misappropriation. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Embezzlement -
It should be no problem to off a boy at most places, inquire details at the place or with the boy. Off-fee might be higher than in gogo bars. I once had massage at Playboy (Silom) and it was around midnight and the boy asked me if I want to join him for disco (meaning: if I would like to take him and pay for taxi and drinks). I hadn't been to that place, so I agreed. Details here http://christianpfc.blogspot.com/2014/03/thai-straight-nightlife-tamnan.html When we said goodbye, he asked me if I could give him 1000 Baht for the shop (i.e. off fee). That came as a surprise, I tipped him 1000 for massage already, and thought it's end of shift, and he should have told me before, so he got only 500. That was my only personal experience; I vaguely remember reports by others that quote similar numbers.

Amazed by the Prejudicial Comments in Multiple Threads
ChristianPFC replied to firecat69's topic in Gay Thailand
In real life it's great fun to sit with a friend in a bar and comment on the boys we see and compare our preferences. On the forums, I think it doesn't add value if people are drooling over pictures or disapprove of pictures. The last time I saw a pussy from close was in 1980 - when I was born. -
That's the first time I remember that someone asks for higher drink or entry price. When it comes to drinking, I feel the same, when I tour 3 or 4 bars in one night, I'm simply full after one glass of orange or pineapple juice in each bar (in bars I don't drink alcohol, rarely water, and coke or similar from bottle or can doesn't taste). But some bars offer tea, and I will have tea if that's on offer. (I have never been to The Venue so can't judge if 150 is fair or not, depends on number of customers a well. But a friend from Bangkok is a fan of their show, I might have a look some time.)

Go go boys and other moneyboys avoid being seen with Farang
ChristianPFC replied to abidismaili's topic in Gay Thailand
I had this a few times. Wouldn't spend too much thought on it. There might be animosities between certain boys, boy A doesn't want boy B to see him with Farang C for whichever reasons. Just do what he wants as long as it's resonable and focus on more important things. -
I think 100 Baht is fine, and opposed to above post I think one of you should do all the tipping, and tip only once even if you are two. Talk with the boy? Bear in mind that the music might be loud (I simply refuse to have a conversation above the absolute minimum when it is too loud), he might not speak English well, and staff might pester you to to the boy or another off or buy more drinks. Sharing bottle of whisky is common and probably cheaper than individual drinks. (no personal experience) No-sex off has been discussed here recently: http://sawatdeenetwork.com/v4/showthread.php?17845-Bar-off-clothes-on There is room to save money, e.g. tell the boy to meet you after work to save the off fee and offer less than what's usually expected for short time sex.

Recently, I was told no slip available at all. We are witnessing a major change, and you heard it here first, from me! I wonder if 7/11 sells 300 Baht phone credit and you pay 300 Baht, where do they make their money? Do they get it cheaper from the phone company? When I pay bills, 7/11 usually charges me 10 Baht. I did my first top-up at ATM, it worked! But you have to know your phone number, which I did not for my data SIM. For AIS, dial *545# to get your phone number.

Long way from North Pattaya bus station (if coming from Ekkamai), close (about 1 km) from Thappraya bus station (bus 389 "sex tourist express" from Suwarnabhumi airport, see kokopelli). From North Pattaya bus station, I recommend songtheo (you have to change once or twice, maybe at Dolphin Roundabout and definitely at South Pattaya / Second Road intersection, total fare 20 or 30 Baht, mocy would be expensive and uncomfortable with luggage for such a long ride. For songtheo from North Pattaya bus station either pay around 50 Baht for the first part of trip when you board in bus station or walk across road and flag one down for 10 Baht.

Related question: This year I will be in Thailand over Songkran 13.-15.04.2016 (2014 and 2015 I fled the country) and want to go to Bang Saeg (town with beach halfway between Bangkok and Pattaya) for their sand castle festival 16.-17.04.2016. The question is when to travel to Bang Saen. Before Songkran starts in Bangkok, that would be 5 days in Bang Saen, a bit too much. Or during Songkran, but how to get to Bang Saen without getting wet? (Bus from Rama 4 to Victory Monument or Ekkamai and then van or bus.) (Another problem is how to choose hotel, Bang Saen will be busy. Book online or make a daytrip to check promising places - location and price - and choose the best?)

He seems to have tattoos พ่อ แม่ (father mother in Thai) on the front of his shoulders (very common tattoo, usually in this place), but they look like scars and not tattoos. Can anyone confirm?
